Everything is stock factory parts aside from a new DC harness that is not totally related to that aside to show that I know what I'm doing when dismantling and replacement of parts in this laptop. But I have found nothing that comes close to give me all of the actual characteristics. Is someone can you please tell me where I can find this information? I am wanting to CPU RAM and (if possible) the graphic information about replaceable chips. An i7 would be nice if I can run into that, but I'm not going to buy one and try it if it won't work in this machine.

  Simple question simple answer: Toshiba doesn't support CPU updates so you will not be able to find some official specs about it. Better place o check it's Toshiba service provider in your country.

  I do not think that you will have success installing Win7 64 bit on an old system as the A100, you should install 32 bit Win7 and use Vista 32-bit drivers.

  In case you have made a 'upgrade', you could try to turn the clock back 10 Windows to an earlier version of Windows:

  If the options to go back and restore the factory settings are not available, you can use Setup Toshiba recovery media to install an earlier version of Windows

  You can use the drivers released for other series of mobile phones that support Win 7.
  LAN, WLan, BT, driver sound driver touchpad are model independent and should work on you A210 too.

  Also I recommend that you install VAP (value added package) and Flash Card Utility for Win 7 Support. You can find it in Satellite L500 for example.

  I installed Win 7 on my A210 and everything works fine.
