Thierry

Hello

Only the latest versions of BIOS are available on the page of European disk from Toshiba.
Older versions of BIOS are not published more

I don't think that the ASP in your country might help you dude

PS: Why did you start a new topic? You have posted this already here:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/message.jspa?MessageID=166263

It s recommended and advised not to discuss that in a single thread to avoid confusion

    Hi Tony,.

On the Toshiba download page you can download the latest version of the BIOS only. Unfortunately there is no option for older versions of IDF.
What you can try is to contact the Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help. They have access to the database of the BIOS, and they can get the old version for you.

  • Need older version of Bios for Satellite L30-113 PSL33E

    Hello

Can someone please provide me with an older version of bios for my laptop (L30-113 a.k.a PSL33E).
Now I recently upgarded to version 3.10 of the toshiba site and now my laptop seems to generate a lot more heat than before. Also some of my USB ports stopped working properly. The version that I was before was 3.00 I think or something like that.
Also, look what I ve found:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/generic_content.jsp?service=EU&ID=L30_BIOS_UPDATE _ 02132008.

This is not because it is exactly the version 3.10 causes overheating. The thing is that I could not find a previous version of this BIOS so I'm asking you guys to help me.

    Thanks in advance!

When the latest version is available that can not be downloaded more.
I think that the old version, you can get to the authorized service provider. I checked several Toshiba support page but without success.
Sorry, but I see no other way to get the old version of the BIOS.

  • Satellite A500D - where can I find the older version of BIOS?

Hello! (and sorry for my English)

I need to install an older version of BIOS for Satellite A500D - 10 h (now I v1.20, updated on 6 November on the official website).
The problem lies in the thermal BIOS options to which fan too loud makes noise. Or can there is a newer version? Before, I understand, so was v1.10. I ask to Word a previous image BIOS for A500D or command prompt, where I can find the earlier version?

    Installed Vista x 64,

    Thank you

    Hello

As far as I know isn t possible downgrade BIOS. You can download the new versions on the site of Toshiba but decommissioning, we must move to an authorized service provider. Technicians can downgrade the BIOS.

If you n t know where to find the nearest ASP, you can search in the Toshiba page:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > find an authorized service provider

    Good luck! :)

  • Satellite Pro 4340: How to get older versions of BIOS?

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro 4340 and I recently updated the BIOS from v2.6 to v2.7 unfortunately since then randomly, the laptop freezes and requires a reset. Check the error log indicates a fault in which case the ACPI BIOS is written in an unauthorized area. I would now go back to BIOS version 2.6, however the support from Toshiba site only lists the current BIOS v2.7 and not the older versions. How can I get the old version? Anyone here happen to have a backup?

    Thank you

    Ben.

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, you will find only the most recent update of the BIOS on Toshiba page.
I don't think that the authorized service provider is able to downgrade the BIOS to the original version

I downloaded crisis recovery disk tools and I'm looking for the correct version of phlash16 tfor the Toshiba Satellite P200 to create the disc.

    Help me please!

    Hello!

Updates to the BIOS on the Toshiba site are only Windows based so I think that it of not possible recovery BIOS yourself or flash in DOS mode.

The only solution I see right now is a professional help from an ASP. Technicians can try to reflash the ROM module
Here, you can search an ASP:

  • Satellite P200-RT2 - need help with recovery

I made a Boo-Boo and need advice/help to get things fixed.

My husband has a Satellite P200-RT2 running Win XP 32 bit (included with Vista, but had been upgraded). The battery needs to be replaced, does not load and he made the mistake to disconnect while it was closing, but had not closed completely. Laptop computer would not start even in Safe Mode.

So, I thought to try to insert a disc Win XP Pro thought, he would work to restart the computer and start again. No, he took over and completely restructured the laptop. If great, now have Win XP Pro on it, but can not load all Toshiba drivers that I downloaded from the Toshiba site.

I was not in a position to know if there is a specific order to load the drivers... have been reading and wonder if the BIOS should be the first?

Needless to say that the Toshiba recovery software went on the P200-RT2, I can't find a separate drive that supposedly it contains, there are only two listed drives, drive C and D (for DVDs).

Toshiba tells me that Microsoft sells the recovery software, MS told me that Toshiba sells. There are sites online that have the recovery disc for Vista I could buy or download, but I'm not sure on those that are reliable/safe.

Have to mention that I have a Toshiba laptop latest (L675 - 40 X, Win 7) and have the recovery disc for it.

Is it possible to use these recovery disks for Toshiba software loaded on the old P200-RT2?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

If I could get the XPPro to work, which would leave as OS... but I don't know where to find the drivers.

    Satellite P200 - RT2 PSPB0C is a Canadian model.
But the same model was released in Europe under the model number:E PSPB0

You will find all of the Win XP drivers on the Toshiba UE driver page:

  • Satellite Pro A120: Need to update the BIOS after upgrade CPU

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120 and I need to update the bios of a change in cpu cause.
The laptop works very well, but for some reason any with the new processor fan runs always full.

A lot, I searched but found nothing.
The model number is PSAC1E-0QL04CG3 of ideas where I can find the bios?

    THX in advance,
    John

    Hello

First of all: update BIOS doesn t help you.
Why do you think that BIOS update should help reduce the activity of fan?

I guess that your new processor is faster. Right?
So it offers more performance and this leads to higher heat dissipation... so finally the CPU must be cooled and this can be done only if the cooling module would turn faster you agree with me?

By the way: the update of the BIOS is on the page of the Toshiba UE driver. Since the satellite Pro A120 is very old series, you will need to search for drivers in area Archive (Type of product-> Archive)

I have a Satellite P200-1DY running XP - SP2. Where can I find the drivers for Ethernet, storage of buses and the mass of SM controller controller?

Are they 'hidden' in one of the drivers in one of the driver for XP Toshiba site list?

How can I identify what version of laptop I have: PSPB0, B3, B6, etc. ?

    Oh. I have already answered in the other thread you posted here in the forum;
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/message.jspa?MessageID=117816#117816

Seems you've discovered what series it is ;)

PS: the SM bus and mass storage controller are communities which are only compatible Vista and so drivers don't exist for the XP operating system

  • subscription to the current versions of indesign and photoshop, lost a laptop, need older versions

A couple of weeks, I bought subscriptions to Indesign and Photoshop, to use on a computer laptop mac of fine points.

Then I lost the phone. I have a police report if you do not want to see it.

Now, I am back my old Mac with os x 10.5.8 thereon. I have a record of 10.6 snow leopard on the way.

I would like to be able to download older versions of Photoshop and Indesign.

    Thank you!

  • Satellite X 200 - 1AA - after recovery, I have the older version of BIOS?

I've recently updated the BIOS of my Toshiba Satellite X 200 1AA with Windows Vista SP! After a few days, I did a product recovery using the recovery CD. When the recovery is performed, the BIOS back to the previous version?

    Hello!

No, the BIOS don't go back to the previous version. The Toshiba Recovery disk contains factory settings of software on your laptop and not the BIOS. The BIOS has nothing to do with the software on your laptop.

So Don t worry, the recovery disk doesn t touch the BIOS and you still have the new version.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A100-178: I can reinstall the older version of Bios?

I updated my Bios as it was available (5.10). The update went well and I had no problem for it. Since then, I started to get a daily error messsage on digital USB card from Pinnacle. The error is something about the limitations of outdated peak current. The card still works OK after that I have reinstall. I would like to try it with the old version of the Bios and see if that also produced the error, but that is downloadable somewhere?

I noticed the update made a program to copy backup, but where? I also tried to run the update process twice, so it may be that the backup copy has been crushed with the new version anyway.

    Thank you
    Petri

    Hello Petri

With your laptop you can do what you want, but if I were you I won't play with BIOS if not necessary. I hope that you know very well that if you make a mistake, you can destroy the BIOS chip and in this case you have big problem because the repair will be very, very expensive.

I'm sure that the BIOS updates are tested before you can download them and are perhaps better to look for other solutions as described in the previous announcement.

    Good luck and be careful!

  • Looking for the older version of BIOS for my A-L50-1EH

    Hello

I have a problem with the detection of my SSD in the Toshiba Satellite L50-A-1EH (PSKK6E).
It gets only detected in BIOS 1 on 30 times at the start (after which it runs great).
If 'the SATA Interface setting' patches 'Autonomy' the problem of detection, at the cost of a reduction in the speed of the 4.5 factor.

Some people who have had similar problems, solved this by flashing an old version of the BIOS.

Currently I have v1.70, which is the most recent.

Where can I find the old BIOS' are / archives of the BIOS?

    Kind regards
    Arthur BOULELLI.

Unfortunately, on the Toshiba download page, you can find latest version only.
