Hello

According to the specifications of the laptop you can upgrade your laptop up to 32 GB.

Compatible RAM modules followed part numbers:
4 GB DDR3-1600-PA5037U-1M4G
8 GB DDR3-1600-PA5037U-1M8G

I highly recommend to use these compatible modules tested and 100%. I have very good experience with the modules of Kingston. They cost a little more, but they are recognized correctly and function without any problems.
Use the reference numbers and check the specifications and prices.

    Hello
I want to improve my Toshiba Satellite L70-B-125 to 10 Windows with an ISO file / DVD. Is this possible?
I have not found the Windows product key on my laptop or other documents. Where can I find the product key?

    Thank you.

You should upgrade to 10 Windows through Windows instead of DVD/USB.
If you have installed own DVD/USB, you will get a Win10 key.

Once you do the upgrade, you can reset Windows, that is identical to a clean installation of DVD/USB.

It's very strange... I think it must be some kind of Windows bug... I recommend you check if all Windows updates and patches are installed.

In addition, the unit is listed as a supported upgrade Win 10 model, so win 10 update should be possible.

    The unit is here: http://win10upgrade.toshiba.com/swup...spx?region=TEG

Win 10 driver can be downloaded and updated from this page:
    http://win10upgrade.Toshiba.com/swup...SPX?region=TEG

but in case the upgrade of Windows 10 using the automatic upgrade procedure does not work, try to improve Windows 10 using the media creation tool

    Hello

That means the POST (power on self-test) screen appears; 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM?
All memory is recognized in the BIOS?
If so, then the memory has been recognized correctly and Windows 7 64-bit should be able to use all 8 GB of RAM.

  • Satellite A100 stops after upgrade memory

Consider me the thickie Pack 1... Not sure wot im talkin end but n e way...
    Have a Satellite A100 570 (PSAA2E)...

Tried several websites online lookin for memory upgrade. Did not have the witt to use the toshiba site... Eventually get to the point...
Ran the Diagnostics on laptop and sent module one needed.or so I thought... wrong 1 or 1 s I bought 2 x 1 G modules in order to 'double '...

Got my money because they were not compatible with my system... something to do with the problems of density...
Tried company called OFFTEK... they seemed to know what they were talkin' about... I'm Offtek. at present one...

EVEREST ran and it recognizes the module 1 G but when I pull out the original 512 MB module, the laptop starts for about 3 seconds then stops...
This repeats about 5 times then fill stop...

I don't like open the back cover too often but it's the 3rd module...
Don't know what is supposed to happen if the module works... IE launch message... dunno if windows recognizes module 1 G...
Would be - this bet safer to send Offtek module and stick with option of toshiba...

    Hey Buddy

    Have a look here:

    http://www.orcalogic.co.UK/ASP/ProdType.asp?ProdType=23658&ft=m&St=3

You can use the DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200 - PIN SODIMM bars!

The pc2-4300 Rams are the same as PC2-4200. It s just a marketing gag PC2-4300 are PC2-4200 modules that can be overclocked by some versions of BIOS PC desktop

However, you must take the PC2-4200.

  • Satellite P300-1AE - card upgrade memory

    Hai,

    I own a number of satellite P300-1AE PSPCCE-00K003BT.
The specifications of the product on the memory of this laptop are:
    Standard: 4 096 (2 048 + 2 048) MB
    Max at: 8 192 MB
    Technology: DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)

    I had the following problem:
I'm not able to find the specifications to improve my memory from 4 GB to 8 GB.
I have download some programs of + capital + for example, they said the follow-up:
My max memory is 4 GB
    Installed current 4 GB
    Places available: N.A.
    DDR PC2-6400
("our system scanner could not make a complete match")

On every single site, I'm going to purchase memory upgrade like kingston or crucial... I can't find my P300 laptop-1AE between the other toshiba, I can't also chose a more general option for the P300.

Also on the toshiba site I found after a long search: 4 GB memory PC2 DDR2 (800 MHz), but then again... The P300 or more specific to my 1AE P300 is not in the list compatible models.

If at this point I got very confused which memory I need to buy to upgrade for a total of 8 GB of RAM... I don't want to waste money to buy the bad...
I even started to think that I could have more than 2 Bank for memory slots in my laptop? I started my BIOS and all he said was "total memory: 4 096 MB", so this has not helped me be...

    If concrete...
Should I replace the cards of 2 x 2 GB (installed) 2 x 4 GB cards? or do I have to buy 2 x another 2 GB and put in 2 other still empty slots? Or do I only 2 slots?

If I solved this problem... those who do I need to install? What are the specs?

I hope that my question is not too complicated, I really hope someone can help out me!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

According to specification for laptop, your laptop can be upgraded up to 8 GB. Toshiba recommends the use of the 4 GB Ram module compatible with PA3670U-1M4G part number.

My advice to you is: buy high quality RAM and you will have no problem as a lot of other people who want to save money and report subsequent here on compatibility issues. You can check this thread and you will find that most of them have problems with the essential modules.

Buy RAM from Kingston of high quality and you will have no problems.

  • Satellite A500 - 1 GR - upgrade memory RAM but 3 GB of usable system memory

I have upgraded my laptop to 8 GB (2 * 4 GB) ram. A 64 bit version of Windows 7 shows that I have 8 GB of memory, but there are only 3 GB of usable system memory. How do I use the 8GB. My Bios version is 2.00. In the Bios, I have not found the option 'enable the memory remapping feature '.

This option doesn't exist in the BIOS and everything is controlled automatically. The BIOS update will not change.

  • Satellite L450D - 13 X - upgrade memory, move from Win7 32 bit to 64 bit

    Hello
IM new to this forum and need help. I have the laptop mentioned above and wish to update the memory, but I have not the slightest idea of what type to buy. When I checked the specifications of the laptop, that's what he said; "
Standard system memory: 2 048 MB
    maximum extension: 8 192 MB
    technology: DDR2 RAM (800 MHz)

Is someone can you please tell me what this means?

Also how one I would go to switch from windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. Would really appreciate someones help on that.
    Thank you

This means that your laptop works with 2 GB of RAM. You can extend to 8GB and make faster and better. I ve checked specification and found the info you can use 2 x 4 GB for a maximum amount of RAM. Compatible 4 GB of RAM has PA3670U-1M4G part number.
Click on the part number to order new modules.

I ve also checked download page of Toshiba on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp and your laptop is fully supported for Win7 64 bit. With other words, you need to install own Win7 64 bit version on your laptop. After having done that, you need to install all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities one by one.

We can help you with this.

  • Question about upgrading memory Satellite M55-S1001

can you please recommend what to do? I want to make my satellite m55-s1001 run faster please let me know, what do you recommend: 512 MB or 1 GB of memory? I'm not familiar with updates so please help!

    Hello

First of all, if you want to go for fastest laptop, you should start with simple things.
Try to defragment the disk, turn off the background process is not necessary, etc.
Upgrade memory will the powerful laptop and of course a lot more quickly.

To my knowledge the Satellite M55 should support the bars of memory 2 x 1024MB, and I also recommend the use of 1024MB instead of 512 MB module.

  • Re: upgrade memory Satellite M70-159

I have the Satellite m70-159 with 512 RAM and you want to upgrade memory.
Is ddr2 sdram so-dimm PC5300, 667 Mhz kingston 1 G memory compatible with my laptop?
I know that this memory will run as PC4200, but I don't know where to buy PC4200.
    Thank you.

The Satellite M70 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM.

The Kingston RAM must be compatible with your laptop because Kingston's high-quality RAM and many users here upgraded with modules from Kingston.
And as you say that the RAM will work as long as PC4200, it is not a problem.
