Satellite P750 - wireless card does not work
PSAY3A - 02q 001. Laptop is around the age of 20 months. Turned on this afternoon and the Wireless does not work. Atheros AR9002WB-1NG. Can't b on / off switch material. The switch will beep when pushed. Network troubleshooting indicates the card is not activated. Card is always detected in windows.
I feel that this indicates that the card has failed. Any thoughts?

> Card is always detected in windows.
Does that mean exactly?
WLan is listed in Device Manager?
And if SO, have you tried reinstalling the WLan driver again?
If you tried that, do it!
Uninstall the Wlan driver (in Device Manager), download the latest driver WLan driver Toshiba page, install the driver, reboot the laptop and try to set up the connection.

Satellite M200 Flash card does not work?
My new laptop Toshiba M200 (works on Vista) continues to display an error message that my Flash card does not work and that the system is looking for solutions.
Other threads in this forum, I understand it could be a driver problem, but there seems to be no suitable driver available for download for my M200 model.
Who can help me?
Thank you
Hello
When you reference the Flash card, I assume you mean the utility toshiba Flash Cards. in this case, I would say that you reinstall (i.e., uninstall and then reinstall) relevant Toshiba Value added Package for your laptop model. to locate the relevant Toshiba VAP, visit your regional toshiba driver. This should solve your problem, such as cards Flash requires the installation of files for your Fn + F keys (for example by pressing Fn + F6/F7 fades and lights up the screen), so I think that Vista is looking for solutions as the Fn keys could be involved. After installation, you can disable the startup Flash cards when the computer starts up, but do not uninstall the toshiba VAP.
This should help your question

Satellite Pro 4600 Wireless card does not work with WIN2K?
I have a Satellite Pro 4600 with UK dealer PA3070U-1MPC wireless operating with Windows 2000 card
The wireless client Manager detects the network from my wireless router and the signal is excellent and I see all the Green swhowing bars.
But I can't mske a connection in 'connections' wireless says "network cable is disconnected.
the router works well with other laptops in my house.
I have the latest version of Win2K also downloaded and installed the latest versions of client manager and WLAN driver for win2k to the toshiba Web site.
'Support of toshiba in Turkey' told me ' I need another driver for Win2K for my driver wireless card cause win2K on the toshiba site isn't for "thie" wireless card ". I have been waiting for this for 3 weeks now and couldn't join the UK level 3 elusive support who supposed to have this driver. I saw on the internet is the same wireless card was sold as an accessory "made by toshiba" and he said that it is compatible with Wim2K
What I then please? It works with Win2K, is it "another driver" and so on?
Thank you
Hello
I don t think that there is something wrong with the driver because you can receive signals from router (green bars). If the driver WLan would be a mistake if wouldn t receive all signals.
Please check device manager. If the wireless card is recognized if you are using the correct driver and the driver has been installed correctly.
Please see this page:
http://209.167.114.38/support/TechSupport/TSBs/all/-TSB000705.htmIn my view, the message "network cable is disconnected" appears because your (NOT wireless) LAN cable is not connected. This post has nothing to do with the question of Wlan.
You should check your WLan settings again. -
Satellite L300-17N (PSLBCE) - wireless card does not work
Hello
I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L300 (PSLBCE) that came without any operating system and the dirvers. I installed WXP PRO SP2 above and downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba site. Everything has been installed ok and functional except for the WLAN card. The wireless network card, it is a Realtek RTL8187B but it is not recognized by my laptop: if I Check Device Manager it does not appear (it does appear that "Network controller" with yellow mark). Then I went to Realtek website and download new drivers from there and installed again... also with these dirvers WLAN card still not recognized.
No idea this coud be the problem? I don't know that I have downloaded the correct dirvers from Toshiba Web site as well as the Realtek site... but none of them helped. The chipset drivers have also been installed and also the last BIOS version (my BIOS version is newer than the one on the site of toshiba with the drivers for this model)
May this be a conflict with the other dirvers or WXP PRO SP2?Thank you
Hey Buddy
Satellite L300-17N does not support Realtek RTL8187B but Intel 11 a/b/g (13ch) - Golan Wlan card.
I recommend to visit the portal of Toshiba Europe WLan and recommend to download and install the driver Intel WLan from here:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloadsHere, you can try the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945/4965/5100/5300 driver package!
I would appreciate your comments

Satellite Pro L300 - wireless card does not work under Ubuntu
Hi all,
I want to know what is the model of my wireless card. I need to know because I need the driver of windows for Ubuntu. I see on the internet for the L300 series, we have a lot of wireless card... I want to know what is the card of my pc.
Thanks a lot and best regards
LOL: D you're funny type. Please don t do it harder they are.
There are many opportunities to find out what card WLan has been inserted.
The easiest way is to check the bottom of the unit.
There are a lot of different labels and on one of the labels you should see a WLan card model or part number.
Take this number it in the google search and google for this field. -
Atheros AR9285 802.11 wireless card does not work.
Wireless for my laptop HP that atheros AR9285 recently stopped detecting my router while I have my Netgear G54 WGR614v10 encryption card any type of security, I chose, but it detects my router if I switch off my encryption.
I read a post from Paul_Tikkanen Atheros WLAN Driver corrects connection issues with many new routers (Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, etc.), I downloaded the driver and installed it but it has not made a difference.
I also watched to make sure that bluetooth was not on, I read somewhere that it might interfere with my wireless card, but it was not on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
Windows 7
OK, this is strange, and then we will have to check each setting security on your router and your network card to make sure they match. Access your routers webpage bios and go to network security, if possible on your PC to cable and take note of the security settings and compare them with the security of network adapter settings.
~ Bios of router ~
* Usually, which would be the mode key staff/Enterprise wpa or wep.
* Then check that your type of encryption on the router security example would be AES or TKIP.
* And then check your 802.11 mode.
~ NIC ~.
* go to start button or charms right mouse click Select Network option and click. * highlight of the WiFi adapter which is having right mouse questions click.
* then choose status to the next screen, click Properties wireless.
* then select Security tab, try this on your laptop which works as well to make sure everything fits.
Something must have went wrong with the installation of the driver. I think you need to remove or back the driver, restart your laptop and let windows update or HP support assistant app find the right driver for you if it does not. -
Satellite A300 graphics card does not work
Does not my graphics ati mobility radeon hd 3470, only the blue colour works on it and the display of the laptop is not working too, I need to plug a monitor so that I can work with it? Can I replace it? If so where can I buy a graphics card for?
Hi paulik123,.
If you also have a problem with an external monitor, there seems to be a problem with the internal graphics card
Did you notice the same problem when you get into the BIOS?As Akuma writes you can contact a service provider authorized in your country. Guys are able to replace graphic card/motherboard for you.
The list of aspic, you can find here:

Satellite M30X graphics card does not work correctly
The best I can describe the problem is that the display looks like he has a trellis in front of her.
I connected a remote screen I know works fine and the problem is the same, so I'm sure that the problem is not the LCD display itself.
Looks a bit like a screen of matrix of the film of the same name. I also tried to replace the motherboard, but the problem remains. The laptop itself works very well and always does everything its supposed to but the screen make it practically impossible to read.
Any ideas?
Unfortunately, it's really not easy to say what could be bad exactly.
Maybe it's a problem of graphics card chip.
According to your description this fault could be possible. Most of the time it s advisable to ask and laptop for an audit technician. He could run a diagnostic test and could locate the hardware failure more quickly.
Sorry, but that's all I can suggest.

Satellite Pro L40 - wireless adapter does not work - Vista
I recently had some problems with my laptop.
A couple of weeks, I put in a disc of OpenSuse.
It's not stable anything, but locked me out of my original Vista operating system.I reinstallled Vista Home Basic, but there are a few problems.
Mainly, my wireless adapter does not work. When I flip the button to turn it on nothing happens and it is not recognized in Windows.
I installed Atheros Driver, but still nothing happens, light is not yet.Any advice?
Hello
First check the device-> network adapters area manager
You see the WLan card? Or the unknown device appears? If there is an unknown device, then the WLan driver has not been installed correctly or you tried to install a driver badly these two options are possible.
Remember that your wireless network card? Maybe it was a Realtek WLan card?
If it's a Realtek WLan card, try the WLan driver from the Realtek website and look for 802.11 g (RTL8187B) chip or you will simply check the page of the European driver Toshiba too the Realtek WLan driver also appeared on the Toshiba page

Tecra S1: Rf Ubuntu wireless switch does not work
Hi all
I recently bought an Intel mini-PCI wifi card for my Tecra S1 under Ubuntu. It is detected without any problem, Intel provides even native drivers for Linux. However, the hardware to activate wireless switch does NOT work. According to iwconfig, the radio is off. I use the ipw2200 driver which can detect the hardware and the software rf_kill. I can enable and disable software killing RF, but kill him material stays on.
I suspect that the radio feature is disabled in the BIOS but I don't have Windows running on the laptop over to change the setting. Is it possible to access BIOS options under linux? Toshutils are not supported by the tecra because she seems to have a Phoenix BIOS.
I hope you can help!
Edwin...
Hello
Tecra S1 supports BIOS Toshiba you can access BIOS by pressing ESC at the beginning of the startup.
In any case I think you won't find anything in the BIOS.If you are not able to use the switch of material on the side of the laptop then the Wlan card is not compatible or the hardware switch is malfunctioning. I would say that the card is not supported.
Maybe the insulation of the 13 pin might help please check that this son:
