  I just installed Windows XP (sp3) on a satellite L300 PSLBGE by Toshiba... and the FN key does not work.
  At the moment I have to activate bluetooth... but FN + F8 does not work.

  I don t think that there is something wrong with the driver because you can receive signals from router (green bars). If the driver WLan would be a mistake if wouldn t receive all signals.
  Please check device manager. If the wireless card is recognized if you are using the correct driver and the driver has been installed correctly.

My problem is the Device Manager indicates that the device cannot start code 10. I have a fresh install of XP Pro SP1 (not from the original restore disk).   The FN + F8 key combination that allows the WLan should work on if install you value added package.

  I have a Satellite L300 and did a few sets of recovery discs from what I read some brands work and some don't, and none have so far.

  Insert Diskette 1, press the button and hold F12 key until the startup option appears.
  Select CD/DVD and then back type box appears with X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe - startnet.cmd
  and in the box waiting for ODD vacancies...

  You can add several points after that as nothing is more - so three sets of recovery disks on three different brands of DVD any advice would be pleaseing!
