• Save in different place - Safari El capitan

  It feels a little strange question, but I REALLY can't understand this.

  I try to save an image from Safari on my computer but I don't seem to be able to choose the location to save it. Even if I open the context menu and select the option "Save Image under...". ", a pop-up window opens with a choice of repertoire , BUT the only option to choose in the menu drop-down is the same download folder (here also a remote disk option in the menu which is totally useless to me).

  I'm sure that where other options to choose from in the dropdown under "Desktop", "The file" etc, but now the only option seems to be the downloads folder.

  (A) Pourquoi - what happens?

  (B) is it possible to add a place more to the menu drop-down select to save an image in safari?

  Update: not knowing how, but earlier another option popped up, but it is still far from resolved.

  I wish WMP to be able to remember the last place/place in a video, so if I close it accidentally (instead of minimize the window), I can't spend too much time trying to find the exact location. Is this possible?

  How can I change the default save as where is saved the PDF files?  Several members of my group are economy to a network location, but it's actually sending to a local folder and then run into problems of space.

• Illustrator CS3 crashes when changing places during save or place. Mac, Yosemite

  After the update to Yosemite and fixing the original problem of not being able to open Illustrator (older Java installation). Now Illustrator crashes whenever I try to select a location to save the file. If I save without changing the location of the file is not a problem. Also, it crashes when I want to PLACE a file and I try to navigate to the location.

  MacBook Pro (2012), OSX 10.10.2 (Yosemite).

  Adobe Illustrator CS3 (Yes, I know).

  Change fonts doesn't seem to be a problem. Large files are OK. It is only when you navigate to a location using a drop-down menu in the SAVE AS or PLACE dialog box.

  Any ideas of what might be wrong?

  New information: I changed the format of the adobe dialog box and it solved my problem. I'm leaving HERE in the case that everyone is facing it. However, I wouldn't mind know why it will not work the OS dialog box.

  I get a message saying I'm not allowed to save at this place, I have to contact an administrator. I AM the administrator! The only way I can save to the ext hard drive is to save a copy in my documents, and then copy the file to the disk hard ext, delete the original, rename the copy. • Acrobat Pro will not save with Reader Extended features

  I kept this way before forms because all users of our forms are only the free version of the reader. For some reason any it now doesn't allow me to save with extended functionality.   I was wondering if it was a case of memory, but Flash seems to use about 450 mbs. About 40% of my total memory is free, according to the performance of the Task Manager.

  Any ideas what might solve this problem?

  Not an answer but a suggestion for Adobe:

  If you could choose a location for the automatic recovery (which is programmed to save the recovery file in the same directory as the original file) + delete delete auto to the correct output of the program.

  Even have it set to save in a place like 'my documents' on a local disk, would let you have a copy of your work that is X-minutes old.

  I have all my photos on my Macbook pro (Photos app) and held them with faces and custom metadata.  I would like to transfer most of them to my iMac (photos app).  I tried various methods, including parachuting, but I lose the metadata.

  The only way to EVS all the metadata transferred another Mac photo library. Make a copy of the photo library on an external drive and copy the complete library to your other Mac.

  If you want to only copy the selected photos to a library on the other Mac with included metadata, export photos using the "file > export". Who will save most metadata (places, keywords, titles, descriptions), but you cannot transfer the faces in this way.  Photo library not even iCloud will now synchronize albums faces between macs or mobile devices.

  Sorry for the delay in the update...
  OK, I think this can be closed.
  I had to reformat the laptop, what I have noticed once some of the previous headings showing go forward in sync.
  This shows that it works, unfortunately it also proves that all my original stuff was somehow lost in the cloud. Next time I'll save in several places.
