Save for transparent web for gaphics problem

Hello!

savng all transparent graphic in "" save for web &.. "the transparency of the original file is shown much more opaque/more dark and so it will save in file png."

Iconnecte file where you can see a red box with opaciy 40%, but when open to save for web is more like a 60% opacity.

I found solutions to some problems to change color in save for web, but none of them solved my problem.

Any ideas?

Not everything is as desperate it seems just a bit hidden in CS 3 and earlier in 4 CS the mystry was forced to take the frnt though not really rating as far as I know.

The problem is simple to fix and has a logical reason why this is manifested in this way.

In save CS 3 for the Web there is a small triangle at the top has left corner on the image display that offers a choice between the default and the color of the uncompressed problem and device, color Macintosh, Windows color and color profile Document which is what you are looking for that is what you expect match.

There is also the option convert to sRGB that what the web fundamentally displays. Located on the upper right of the dialog also fall down.

I hope that helps you find your way it used for me a little crazy drive me until I took a glance really close the dialog box.

  • File size problems save for Web!

    Hello

I have a problem with the size of the files when you save files to certain specifications.

I use 'Save for Web' tool to identify the weight of the image by changing the amount of colors used.

In the tool, the weight seems to be in line with the specifications, but when I check in the Finder (for information), it tells me it is finished the required specifications.

Example - in the save for Web tool, it indicates that the weight is 6.967 KB for a .gif 300x50px using 100 colors.

But in the finder, it says it's 8 254 bytes!

    Why is this happening?

    How can we solve this?

Operating system does not automatically add the data preview. My guess is that Photoshop is adding metadata during registration.

    A few tips:

    • Try using PNG instead of GIF. The file size is almost always small. You may have heard that PNG does not work with Internet EXPLORER. This applies to versions prior to Internet EXPLORER 7, which is currently on a 2% share of the browser market. The problem only affects transparency 8 bits, so 8-bit png with transparency 1 bit very well work.
    • Download PING from MacUpdate. This is a free PNG optimizer. Drag the PNG files on the application icon in order to optimize. Savings can be dramatic.
    • If you insist on using search for GIF optimizers, GIF also on MacUpdate.

    Hello

    1. were you able to see the front dialog box?

    2. did you of recent changes to the computer?

This happens because your screen resolution is less than the required minimum of 1024 x 768.

You can try to change the resolution of the monitor and check.

For more information, see the link:

  • Problem with save for Web in Action

We do hundreds of images to our fine print main client. As part of the work, they want to the final image through save for Web registered as file a .jpg and .png to 1000 pixels wide.

The problem is, if you try to create an action for this, the size of the action records is a percentage and not a width in pixels. It is therefore impossible (so it seems) to record an action that sets the scale as a sizing with a fixed output of 1000 pixels wide. Since images vary in size and he insists on registration of the size as a percentage, you can not create an action that will work.

I tried to see if there is a way to change the action to change the output of a width in pixels, but didn't see how to do it. Is it still possible? We would save TONS of not having to manually open each image twice as much work and savings for each format.

Yes, there is a bug with this script.

The bug got into CS5 and was not attached to the CS6.

You can download the fixed script here...

  • GIF/save for Web problem (PSE 7)

I tried searching for an answer to this problem, but nothing seems to fix everything that happens.

Recently, I had to replace my laptop and from Windows XP to Windows 7.  I transferred the PSE 7 from the old system to the new system and have had no problems with it - until now.  I have an image in format Photoshop 52 - layer I want to save as an animated .gif, with each layer as a different image.  File > > Save As has the ability to save layers as frames, but if I check it, then click on 'Save', nothing happens.  Nothing at all.  On my old system, I would get a new dialogue with options like the quality, duration by frame, loop, etc., but that doesn't happen any more, and there is nothing to save (if I'm going to find the new .gif file, it's just not there). If I do not choose "Layers in images", dialogue .gif does so very well and it has no difficulty to save it as a static .gif file.  But it seems that she won't just save it in animated format.

I'm having the same problem with "save for Web".  Or the option of the file menu or typing command will bring up dialogue to let me record this way.  He thinks maybe a second, but does nothing else and does not record the image.

I tried to reset the layout, just in case the dialog box has been moved somewhere that I wasn't just to see and I tried to reset the preferences to save it for the Web, but none of these things worked.  No explanation as to why a .gif animation 'layers as images"is the only format that is not saving correctly?

I also tried old connections animated that I created with XP, and they will not re - save as animation connections either opening.  I get her "do you want to save changes" dialogue, but clicking on 'Yes' does nothing and does not record updates.  I am at a total loss for why this feature no longer works.

If you right click on the shortcut of items and choose Run as administrator,

It does make a difference or not save for Web work?

Registration of the Web dialogue box is the same dialog box that you would get when checking the layers as frames

in the Save as dialog box.

  • Save for Web problem?

Because I installed the latest update for PSE6, save it for the Web produces JPEGs with less saturated colors and less contrast than the original. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Save for Web to the bands by default, the color profile of the photo.  The color profile tells programs such as Photoshop Elements and printers which to interpret figures of color on the picture; It is therefore possible, given that the particular photo and that your computer display that stripping the color profile causes the color change.

As an experiment, in the window save for Web, try checking the ICC profile check box.  The saved photo seems washed out when you view it in the editor of PES?  What about when do you with another program, for example, with the Windows image viewer?

  • Save for web and devices CS3 Windows problem

I've had this problem for a few days now. I try to hit Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S for save for web and devices, and nothing comes. If I click on the file menu, and I see that the option is grayed out. I thought reset help entangled, but he continues to themselves, then someone told me it was the size of the image, but that is impossible, because I couldn't save a photo 5 "x 5", and is not too big. " I have a feeling that maybe it's the color settings, but I don't know anything in there, help would be appreciated.

Go to Image/Mode in PS and see if it's 8-bit and RGB color and must be changed.  Many functions do not work with 16-bit images.

  • help - problem with save for web when jpg image is placed in the file

I have a jpg image file that I placed in my Illustrator 5 file to use as background and then created several vector buttons on the top.  When I try to create an arboard around a single button and then save it to the web, it ignores the size of the artboard and shows the dimensions of all jpg.  If I create the same file without the background jpg image, I am able to use work plans to record only a single button.  Every time I place a jpg image in my Illustrator file and try to use work plans, work plans are ignored and the entire area of the jpg is saved.  I am able to use the tool cuts to the economy, but I prefer using work plans.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the work plans of work when a jpg is placed in the file?  Thank you.

    Hi all

I am creating an Action to convert my psd. files to JPEG is suitable for the web.  I use a Mac Pro CS3 running.  My work space Adobe RGB (1998), all files start as Canon RAW CR2, are published in 16-bit and then saved as a psd.  I created an Action following an open psd. image in Photoshop:

    (1) Windows > Actions

    (2) create new Action

    (3) renamed 'save for Web' and then click on registration

    (4) image > duplicate > OK

    (5) Edition > convert to profile

    (6) changed Destination space sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 > OK

    (7) file > save as

    (8) format > option JPEG no?  What?

Everything seemed fine until I reached the stage of Format.  I had a lot of choices, but JPEG was not one of them.  Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?  Thank you!

They must be 8 bits. But why do you use Save as instead of "save for web"?

I have a problem with Illu CS5 15.0.2. I don't remember what I was doing and what could have lead to this behavior, so I need help.

If I want to Save a picture for the web and devices , I get only 100% transparency or 0. This means that all the edges are pixelated. Any filetype I choose or setting I put. I did some screens for you show the result.

Before that was the problem, I was able to save the images with edges not embattled. Excactly looking like the raster preview.

  • Save for the Web Glitch? Illustrator 2015.3 CC

I just updated my CC Illustrator to the latest version (2015.3), and I notice that when you use 'Save for Web' it automatically returns to the default value, which is GIF... I tried to create presets and repeat the process several times hoping that it will retain the previous setting I used that ideally is JPEG, but in vain.  The previous version of Illustrator remember my previous settings during export, but now I have to manually switch each setting time and time again.  I use 'Save for Web' a lot, so it becomes a boring potential nightmare for me.

  • Save for Web file default in Illustrator CC 2015.3

Following the upgrade to Illustrator CC 2015.3, whenever I want to export my work using ' export > save for web... "it is by default in GIF file format In previous versions, it is lacking in any format that you used previously, but now it always goes to the GIF format.

I have made online and product and can't find anyway to change that. It's a minor change, but when you are exporting multiple images in the creation of digital assets for marketing campaigns is incredibly frustrating and lose time when you must always choose the type of file you want.

I've noticed this time when you use Illustrator at home on my PC and Mac at work. There is the option "Export for screens", but that can be a bit of a faff, especially when you have to go and rename each file after export.

In short, is there a way to change the default file format 'save for web', says PNG?

We have released a fix for this problem. Please update.
