  I've implemented a .VI (from the pieces of the help on the forum) that I use with the NI USB-6225 to collect and record anywhere voltages 1-30 or more 4-20mA sensors (pressure, linear voltage,... etc.). I tried to implement the .VI to make it user-friendly so that a person could name each channel, as well as to set the duration record and frequency (ie the number of samples).  After the data were recorded, the .VI generates a time-stamped PDM file, a timestamped LVM file as well as a time-stamped LVM file for an average of all voltages on each channel.

  The problem, I noticed that whenever I have more than 16 channels activated, the saved values for channels 17 and higher pressures are wrong.  For example, the output voltages of 1 to 16 channels of a tension of 1.0 to 5.0 (which is expected) and 17-30 channels is negative or very small (0.100 volts).  I know that the NI USB-6225 is working properly because I created a simple .VI which simply uses the DAQ Assistant ouptut 30 channels on a waveform graph and all channels of reading in the range I'm waiting (1.0 to 5.0 volts).

  To me, it seems that there must be something in the DAQmx (as opposed to DAQ Assistant) I use my .VI who questions whenever I try to save more than 16 channels.  I just don't understand enough of labview to understand what may be the cause of this problem and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction

  As you have not joined in the work programme, it is impossible to tell what you did differently. In this program, you do not specify the configuration of the inputs (simple nerve or diff).

  p.s., The program is bad need of major cleanup. Keep the program to a single screen. Simplify.

  I need a multichannel audio for my project. I can't read more than 2 channels of my audio interface.

  The interface Im using is a mixer Alesis Multimix8 USB 2 and audio interface. It supports 10 channels and 2 outputs. With other software, I can read that all the channels simultaneously, without any difficulty of entry. When I specify the audio set up and read of input sound, to read more than 2 channels of any extra channel is a white signal. I'm using Labview 8.5 here.

• Suddenly cannot copy more than 3 GB of total files for Macbook Pro CF card

  I am a photographer. I have been using the following method for a couple of years without fault: I use my Canon camera Compact Flash cards.  When I finished a session, I insert the CF card into a USB card reader.  Then in the Finder, I create a new file in Documents in which you want to place the files in the photo shoot.  In a new tab, I opened the CF card, highlight the RAW files on the CF card and drag them to the newly created folder.  I systematically copied hundreds of RAW files at once without any problems.

  Today, however, when I try to use this method, I am only able to copy up to about 2.5 GB of files at once.  Let's say that I chose 100 files add up to 2.97 GB, and I drag them from the CF card in the folder that I created in the Documents on the MacBook Harddrive.  The small window that opens to display the progress of the copy shows that it is copy 85 points for a total of 2.56 GB.  I had never copy files in small batches like this before. It's painful and tedious.  I need to be able to transfer larger amounts of files in a single session "drop and drag".

  I use the same CF cards I've used for more than a year.  I format each time to the camera, as advised by Canon.  I have not changed anything I know.  Y at - it all parameters that have may change should I watch?  Note also, with my update of the software, some by default has changed, and whenever I inserts a card with pictures on this subject files, automatically opens pictures and I just shut it down and move.  I'm currently under OS X El Capitan 10.11.4.

  Any advice on how to change this back would be greatly appreciated!

  the method simpler and faster to scan more than 100 arguments from a line is probably to use the keyword "rep" in the format string, as you can see in the onluen documentation and in following example taken from the ICB help: "String with separated by commas of the ASCII values in real table" search in the linked page. After reading return values, you can decide how to divide your table of values in important variables in your.

  Another option would be to read online and then manually manage in a loop using strtok () function of line in single values.

• What is the solution for no more than space because windows xp files

  XP running on six different PCs and a laptop and I have no space on any left all have CCCleaner and no program other than what is required to run the pc hard disk. Windows xp and its updates and patches have taken rooms. I'm available on more than 2% function. If I go to Windows 7 will finish with all the patches, or I add 7 and then delete all the XP patches? Help.

  You can try to remove unnecessary files or folders and check. You can also use the disk cleanup tool.

  If you plan to install Windows 7, then you will need to free up more disk space. Also check if your system meets the minimum requirements of Windows 7 system.

• Photoshop file save more than what it takes.

  Anyone else having a problem with Photoshop files save a lot too big? I'm trying to save a small jpg file. When I choose the image size is 300px x50px 43.9 k 72 dpi. When I save the file as a jpg file is 18 M, regardless if I decrease the image options, it's always 18 M. I reinstalled Photoshop and nothing helped.

  This could be caused if you save large amounts of metadata. Open the file jpg in Photoshop and under the file menu, select File Info and look at the properties sheet. Special attention to the raw data - you will find that you have hundreds of lines of what looks like Global identifier information. If this is the case try re-record the jpg file using save it for Web export with high quality filter, the maximum value. Open the file and look at metadata. If I reason it will have removed the nonsense and replaced with a few rows of data. The file size should be much smaller.

  I; m try test Adobe Captivate and I figure out how to save for a long time. I'm doing a screencast by recording my office. It's about 10 minutes long, but when I end the session and play it's always 1 slide, 9 seconds. How can I record for as long as I want and without generating a group of slides. I'm just needing an avi or the power of flash.

  While I agree with Rick about Camtasia being much more suited for what you are wanting to do, I think I can help you with your question for the moment.  While Yes, Captivate creates multiple small your FMR slides once you publish a SWF or AVI it will only produce a single final file.  The slides and animations as you look in the file .cp (Captivate project) are mearly for editing convenience.  You mention only needing a single AVI, if it isn't really all that you are eager to choose publish and then choose the settings in the image below:

  

  Captivate will publish your project to the folder that you specify as a single AVI file.

  Hope this helps, and even once, I agree with the initial assessment of Ricks and use Camtasia myself for these types of projects.  But if you're in a pinch, or just trying to see what able to Dove, this should do the trick.

• Impossible to get more than 1 channel to read with DAQmx cDAQ-9172 under Windows 7

  I have the cell load, voltage, and input thermocouple connected to a cDAQ-9172. My sensors entries have been scaled and verified in MAX, and all of them work.  DASYLab 13, the driver is "dcDASY.dll" and the hardware configuration is "NI MAX.

  When I add a task NEITHER-DAQmx Analog Input (that is, a set of scales) it appears correctly. If I add a second channel of the task and select it, I get this message:
  'Channel of task name saved with the module is not available. DASYLab resets the module parameters for usable first channel name task. »
  The name of the task remains the same for each new channel I have Add. If I change the name of the task by using the tab to the drop down menu, it says:
  "You have configured several ways out for the module. If you modify the task, you lose the settings. You want to change the task? »
  Both display the same data channels, and I can't work simultaneously several channels. It seems I missed something obvious, but I can't.

  You can't perform different tasks (continuous) HERE on a single chassis. The first tasks that starts will be 'the resource booking '.

  Combine the AIs of the various modules in a single task (see photo): start by creating the task of thermocouple. Then add AIs 9237 (e.g. Kraft) and 9215 (volts) using the button with the blue, symbol. Set the mode of synchronization of the task of "continue". Save the task, start DASYLab (second photo).

  Help!  When I edit a photo I can easily create 100 different layers that must be saved individually.  How to save each of them to JPEG without manually by hand.  I've been using photoshop elements version 6 and just had the demo for version 10 hoping there was something that could be used. suggestions for this sortcut would be very appreciated.    Greg

  How to install (vista)

  1. unzip the file

  2. right click on the export of layers to Files.jsx and choose copy.

  3. navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Photoshop 6.0\Presets\Scripts items, right click and choose Paste.

  4. start PES 6 and the export of layers to the script files should be under file > automation tools.

  

  This script should work with pse 6 pse 10 thru Windows.

  Haven't tested on a mac.

  I am currently trying to implement a LabView code to get readings of voltage using 5 different places at the same time. I want to only use the first location in the ground and get 4 measurements of voltage between the ground and each of the other 4 channels. I use a USB 6000 which, for now, allows me to use the same pattern for only two channels. Is it possible to use the same pattern for 4 channels?

  The images do not explain everything. You must explain what are the sensors. I think you totally wrong on how they should be linked. CSR, all sensors must be a common understanding and the outputs not individual channels as I have already explained. If you are unable to do this, you should probably not use CSR and you have the wrong data acquisition device. If you want a side of a sensor as a reference, you need differential connections.

  Thanks for the very quick response.  Your suggestion worked in both applications.  I will also review the updates of the program.  However, it is not possible that our software is packaged and 'pushed' on client computers (PCs) like mine.  Manual updates usually do not work in our environment.

  For reference material that I use is:

  Dell Optiplex 7040 (core I7 vPro)

  16 GB OF RAM

  Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 video processor

  I'll also get the latest video card drivers.

  Update the video card driver seems to be the 'real' fix.  Now, I'm able to activate the option 'use the graphics processor' again in both applications.
