  It doesn't matter what web page I'm on, top 40mm or so of the screen is a dead zone to click on buttons or links. for example, in Google, I can click a link further down the page and are transferred to the new article - but if I had to move the element to the top more near the top of the page the link would no longer operate.

  I can go to a link by repeated use of the "Tab" key until the button or the link is shown and then press 'Enter' to use the link, but this is potentially very time-consuming if there are many links on the page.

  I use a Toshiba Satellite L750 loaded with Windows 7 and Firefox 16.0.

  Often, I wish have bookmarks on the same site in several files. If I visit a site, and then select Bookmark this Page, and then assign a folder in my bookmarks menu, the bookmark exists. If I then repeat the action and choose a different folder, the result is that I have bookmarked in the second folder, but that the bookmark no longer appears in the first file.

  My solution is to mark the site once, open organize bookmarks, then copy the bookmark to as many records as I like. That works, but it isn't the way I expect the product to work.

  Forms in an application is running in a window unique applet. When you use the CALL/OPEN/NEW form, she would open them in the same applet window. If you want to open another instance of the form, try something like

  I currently use v4.0.1 Firefox, I love and I'm happy, because it allows me to use my Kaspersky link filter and the virtual keyboard.

  In any case, I recently decided to clean my registry and history using cc cleaner... I don't back upwards as I had never experienced problems before. Once cc cleaner had finished and I opened Firefox I noticed that my two homepage layouts changed. Supanet homepage is now all disjointed, the buttons are scattered to the left and to the right of the page, where once what they where side by side, all the images and the text seem to be under the other and instead of a single page, now, I have to scroll down and down to the full page all the text and image seem to be left margin.
  On the homepage of google some buttons are there, but the text inside has disappeared, even if the buttons work, a job search online via google... (or Supanet homepage) is not a problem, however, once we arrive on the site it almost shows the information the same page the hompage of Supanet way. Even more on some buttons on other sites are more interactive... for example, Asda good print. I do not wish to update to the other version of firefox that I would lose keys Kaspersky... so please help...   There are a few variations on the command to start the Profile Manager, see if it works better than the one you used.

  Try typing firefox.exe Pei in the area run.

  Make sure you have a space between exe and the dash preceding the capital P and without the quotes with this version of the command.

  I get this error message when I try to open a mapped drive.  I open the other drives mapped without any problem.  However, if I type the path in\\servername\shareof the RACE, I can access the folder.  I can also access this folder if I press the arrow in the address bar and select it from the list.  Only when I click on it from my computer, I get the error message.

  This PC has a new image just 2 days and I connect to another PC, I can access the mapped drive.

  I search for virus and ran without effect registry cleaners.

  It is a Windows XP SP3, HP probook 6550 b, the laptop computer is on a domain.

  If you have correctly typed the name of this file, your computer has been infected. Either you have uninstalled the malware program or your antivirus/antispyware program did. In all cases, a reference has been left in the boot file. You can remove the reference by managing your startup.

  (for XP) Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

  This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility.   Recently, I tried to capture a job by a break of a print queue, print work and copy the files from the spool (under C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS) before unpausing the queue. However, when I try to copy the files, I get the error message "unable to copy the name of the file: it is used by another person or program". I tried several times with the same result. The only way to get the file off the ground is obviously t reactivate the print queue and they will quickly deteleted shortly after. Is there a way I can recover these files? Assume the change the port in 'File' to make a copy of file is on the table. I ran this in the title of administrator user rights.

  The file you are trying to "capture" you will do some good.  However, if you want to watch or copy it, first stop the print spooler.  Open the Services applet (start > run > services.msc > OK).  Scroll down to "Print spooler" and click "Stop".  Don't forget to restart the print spooler after you copy the file or you will not be able to print.

  

  If you want to print to a file rather than on paper, there are at least three ways to do it (not counting "Print to a file").

  Using the "Print to file" box will produce a *.prn file.  It contains commands specific to the printer; It cannot be opened by the usual word processor applications; It can be used to print to the printer selected in the print dialog box or printer that uses the same commands to the printer.  For example, you have a printer installed on 1 computer but you have physically moved the printer to computer 2, where it is now installed.  You can check the "Print to file" on the computer 1, save the file to a flash drive *.prn, carry it to computer 2 and then print it out by copying the file to the printer (in a command prompt window).

  1. the best way, IMO, is to print to a PDF using free CutePDF Writer.

  2. you can create a "generic, only the text" printer and select this option when you print.  This produces a *.txt file.  To install the generic/text printer only, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button, point to settings, and then click Printers.
  2. Double-click the add printer icon.
  3. Click the next button.
  4. When you are prompted "How is this printer attached to your computer? Click the local printer option button, and then click Next.
  5. In the manufacturers box, click Generic. In the Printers box, click generic/text only, and then click Next.
  6. In the available Ports box, click FILE, and then click Next.
  7. When you are prompted "do you want that your Windows-based programs to use this printer as the default printer?" click the no option button, and then click Next.
  8. When you are guests "would you like to print a test page?" click the no option button, and then click the Finish button.

  3. use the Microsoft XPS Document Writer, which may already be installed on your computer.  "XPS" was Microsoft's attempt to compete with Adobe PDF.  He did not.  Unfortunately, the only way to view a document produced by the XPS Document Writer is using the Microsoft XPS Viewer.

  Alternatively, you can restore your computer to previous functioning.

  1. log in to Windows as an administrator.

  2. click on start, point to programs, point to Accessories, point to system tools, and then click System Restore. System Restore starts.

  3. on the System Restore page, click on "Restore my computer to an earlier time" (if it is already done), and then click Next.

  4. on the 'page select a Restore Point', you will see two section. 1. "on this calendar, click a bold date" and 2. "In this list, click a restore point. In the first section, select a date earlier "BOLD" and in the second section, select a restore point, and then click Next. A system restore message may appear that lists configuration changes that system restore will make. Click OK.

  5. on the Confirm Restore Point selection, click Next. System Restore restores the previous Windows XP configuration, and then restarts the computer.

  6. log on the computer. The complete restoration of System Restore page appears.

  7. click on OK.
