Saving for the web. recording original, not optimized?

I am trying to save a gif file. But if I save optimized, it makes the colors go weird. I want to just save the original, but photoshop isn't giving me this option! So, how can I do?

Check the color reduction algorithm that you use, it is restrictive? as limiting colors Web safe only and probably change the colors a bit

You can manually change the color table using the pipette (this is optional, but it helps) to select the color you want to change, and then double-click it in the color table section

  • size of files when saving for the web

'Save for web' sometimes export icon to very small size with size huge file (500Ko), when I take the same image and re - record using "Save for web", I get the small file (1 or 2 KB)

    Why does this happen?

This happens because Photoshop is save the metadata in your PSD and JPG files. You can see that from Photoshop in file Info under the file menu, and then on the tab of raw data you will be able to see usually several lines of metadata information, sometimes thousands, and if you did a lot of manipulations on the file that can add literally MBs to the size of the file. Save for the Web and export as you can delete metadata. Personally, I find it a nuisance more than a useful feature tends to remove metadata from Lightroom, there is a plugin that allows you to select what you want to keep and what to throw away.

    Hope that helps

  • PE 9 - no possible preset saving for the web...

    Hello

Is it really true that there is no possibility to preset the form used to save images for the web?

I went from 7 PE PE 9 some time ago, but I'm pretty sure that it was no problem with PE7. This version of the EP recalled automatically or there was a way of presetting of the file format. I never use anything. JPG, so it's rather annoying that. GIF reappears each time.

Best thanks in advance for your answer!

    Hi margaret

When you launch the editor right click the icon and choose Run as administrator.

Open an image and save as jpeg using save for web. Then close the elements.

You can always choose "Run As Administrator" whenever you start the program, but to remember the jpeg setting.

  • Warning of truncation of file name when saving for the Web (browsers for the Macintosh?) (CS2)

Image (line drawing). Save for Web (* gif). Receive after WARNING:

"Some names of the files being recorded will be truncated to 31 characters for compatibility with Macintosh browsers. To change your file name compatibility options, click on the optimization pop-up menu, choose the output settings and select saving files. »

I couldn't find the optimization pop-up menu. Therefore, I did not this step.

After register, I simply went to the folder appropriate and changed the file name to what I originally wanted (i.e., mainly correcting truncation).

Big problem or not? Everything will be OK?

    Thanks in advance. A novice.

Probably safely, you can disable this Macintosh compatibility setting now.

It's a little difficult to find these parameters...  Here's how.

First of all, in the save for Web dialog box, tap the small icon at the top right and choose Edit output settings.

Change the files record selector, and then look for the settings you want to change as shown here:

I captured the foregoing PS cs6, but I think they are much the same.

  • Saving for the WEB in Adobe Illustrator

    Nice day!

When I save for web or export image on the web he has quality problems. Please note attashed photo. I had the problem.

This happens in all formats such as jpeg, gif or png. When I save as gif there are fewer of these things but still, they are not supposed to be.

  • Illustrator CS4 - when I save it for the web my vectors are pixelated. Help!

I've recently updated to CS4 (I know, I'm always late), but since when I "save for web" my vectors appear pixelated. It seems worse when I want a transparent background. My pictures are for the web and it won't.

I have read a lot about this and can't seem to fix my problem, but here is what I tried: anti-aliasing is checked, view > preview raster, view > preview overprinting, the object > pixelation and probably a few other things. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be GREATLY appreciated! I have attached a picture so you can see what I mean. I created this schematic in Illustrator CS4 and saved for the web with a transparent background and, as you can see, it seems pixelated everywhere.

    jskopinsky,

It shouldn't look like this as a GIF, but what happens if you save it as PNG24?

  • Note: The settings for this page are automatically saved in the Web browser cookies.

I have a printer of C311a e-all-in-one HP Photosmart 7510.  When you look at the section of customizing built-in browser page printers, at the bottom of the installation of the list can be found this message:

Note: The settings for this page are automatically saved in the Web browser cookies. If the Web browser cookies are deleted, these settings are lost.

I would like to the file name for this cookie and can then ensure that this cookie is excluded from cleaning in the various tools that I could use for basic maintenance.  Thank you.

I suspect that you gave me perfectly fine information.  However, given that this cookie file is not on my machine, determine why would come next.

In fact, given the costs associated with this effort, profit generated over the lost time and possible third party website access to this particular cookie. all dictate that I have overcome this effort - for now.  I don't respect the time you have invested in answering my question, placing me in your debt in at least a couple of beers.  I want to thank you for the information provided.

  • Optimizing JPEGs for the Web results in red cast...

I have some pictures of an artist of her paintings/drawings that I'm trying to optimize a web site and I end up with some crappy results.  The bigest problem is a cast/red red pixel I think.  Here is a part of the original JPG:

    4.-Self-portrait,-charcoalforum.jpg

And here is a part of an optimized image after quality 30, prgressive checked and not much else - convert to SRGB unchecked.

    Self-portrait-charcoalForum.jpg

I don't think that the original photos are a lot and this image is probably not the worst.  The pictures I have are pretty much a hotch-melo of sizes, compression and quality and some of them require more unraveling than others.  However after I optimize for the web the worst thing is that red thing going on.  I do something wrong, and is there a quick dirty way to address this issue?

    Thank you

    Martin

    That's what I mean: http://www.illusionism.org/color-perception/bezold+effect/

Pixels are not red, they are just more red than the rest, but they are always blue

  • Captivate 9 saved in the pdf format does not not in web browsers

    Hello

I tried to download PDF files e-Learning interactive on my site to use as a portfolio. The e-Learning programs have been created in Powerpoint, and then loaded into Captivate 9 to add interactivity and saved as a PDF for the web. However, these PDF files opens in a web browser. The only problem I can find is when I open "Inspect" in each pdf, a warning indicates "/deep/ based communicator". Unfortunately, I do not know what it means or where to go from here. Any ideas gratefully received.

I don't know exactly, but it means that you have both Adobe Reader and Flash player (working together) were installed. What happens with this collaboration when the pdf file is displayed in (that) web browser, have no idea. It may also be due to something totally different, but I suspect it might be linked to this change for Adobe Reader (since XI (I think).

  • What is the best way to keep the high resolution when recording "for the web".

the files that I save to the web so I can get them in jpg (or gif) are coming very pixelated.  That's when I print the image.

What is the best way to save for the web, an image and keep the good resolution.

using a business card template.  template Avery will allow me to attach images I want to project.  to do this...  I 'get file computer' and it deletes the image in but real little... then you are supposed to expand on your work as you want.  Well, when I enlarge this image file, it gets pixelated bad.  I think it's the way that I am saving it.  I do not adjust anything when I save.  Maybe I should.  This is where I need advice.

That's what avery model notes on the images, I am allowed to use - when downloading the image, the maximum allowed size is 4 MB.  You can download the JPG and PNG RGB or CMYK images.  so when you recommend things, can you please take this into account

    Thanks for oyur times.

    Aida,.

When you register with the default template using save for web, it's usually a setting very low.

While in the registration window, you can set the size in pixels of the image you want with the quality and the resolution too.

Refer to video tv.adobe.com save for web or Adobe Help file for detailed instructions.

  • Color changes during the recording of the PSD to JPEG (safe for the web) in PS CS5 working in sRGB

As I secured it for the web a PSD file, jpeg version of the same file changes slightly color - I opened the two files in PS CS5 to compare.

File initially processed in Lightroom 6 and converted to sRGB for export.

I worked in the sRGB color space in Photoshop.

When exporting I secured for the web. I tried both options checked including the color profile and convert to sRGB.

I tried to save to the web as a PNG and color remained the same, she only moves for JPEG files.

You can't really see the difference in color with a naked eye, but be specific. I don't understand why he would change when I work in the color space is sRBG. Please help this is driving me crazy!

JPEG compression can change the values, even quite spectacular on single pixel level. You have the selector of color set to "sample point"?
