Scalability Be6k

HY everybody

I'm here to talk about scalability of Be6k. According to be6k documents. It has 2 models MD = Medium Density and HD = high density

Attribute

Capacity

Maximum number of users

1000 users

Maximum number of letters and the ports of voicemail boxes

1000 mailboxes mailbox and 24 ports of voicemail by server

Storage of messages

72 944 minute of G.711 codec

Number of contact center agents

100 agents and supervisors 10

Number of users of the presence

1000 users of presence

Number of devices supported

Server of average density: 1200

Server density: 2500

Maximum number of requests from resident co by server

Server of average density: five applications (4 + 1 management collaboration)

High density server: nine requests (8 + 1 management collaboration)

Busy hour call attempts

5000

in both models, number of users is same which is 1000 but the number of devices is different support up to 1200 MD and HD supported up to 2500.

be6k is c220 M3 rack server is there any solution in all cases we will increase the number of users. Suppose the number of users is 1200 is average I need another server be6k or NGC or can be be7k

Thanks and regards,

Umer Javed

The system has been tested only with 1 K users and the maximum number of devices by the platform, go above that was not tested and since you're already underway running on limited resources, not taken in charge. If you still want to go ahead and go beyond those numbers, any performance problem, and/or any questions, will be your sole responsibility.

    Hello

I have a PC laptop Toshiba M40X-132. It doesn't have a wireless installed inside the adapter. It cable antenna for this card.

I opened my computer and noticed that there are no slot mini pci installed. However, I found the place on the motherboard that is generally used to install such a slot with a certain set of 15-20 minutes with a weld. :) I know I'm losing my warranty by doing this, but I think it would be better to take the risk that, in order to exploit external PCMCIA or USB devices all the time.

So, I have a slot mini pci I bought in a store for electronic components. The place for the installation of such a location are tinned on the motherboard. I think cleaning of Tin from there and then set the slot I.

The big question is the following: suppose that I managed to solder correctly such a slot on the motherboard. It will work or not? I mean, the slot is just the thing that does not exist, or there is some other components and electronic parts which are now absent and doing this slot work?

Thank you for your advice. I'm really confused.

    Good day! :)

    Hello Stefan

I really put t understand you not at all. First I put t really believe someone make these experiences and you will be very happy if someone has this kind of experience.

And if it works, how you want to install the WiFi antenna? You want to dismantle the entire screen to do this and to do it properly? Believe me that it is a bad idea.

The USB wireless costs about 25 euros and in 10 minutes, you can configure and use the WLAN.

Please think about this one more time.

    Good luck!

I would put a scalable background image to a label field. I put the background image using the setBackground() method available in the field of the label. Take a look at this:

Oooh... made on the hellogeo app that this javascript seems to work.   The static viewport metatag does not seem to do.   It seems to work by dynamically assigning the initial-scale ratio based on the report of device pixels.

  • Recommendation and cisco BE6K VM Placement Design

    Hi all

I'm deploying a solution of BE6K with servers of UCS series C (2) and the following virtual machines:

    1 call Manager Pub

    1 call Manager Sub

Pub in connection of the 1 unit

    1 unit connection Sub

    Emergency responders 2

    1 unified presence

I had a question about the placement of the VM of the unit. They are in an active/active cluster. I assume that the customer could take more than a charge that the editor but was not sure. Here's how I thought I was going to design things:

    UCS 1

    Call Manager Pub

    Unity connection Sub

    Emergency responder

    UCS 2

    Call Manager Sub

Pub in connection of the unit

    Emergency responder

    Unified presence

Someone at - it recommendations for placement of VM for the more effective load balancing? I was looking through the CPU on the documentation of the UCS, but they is never were going to retail at CUC publishers and subscribers, they just show a CUC VMS on each server or blade...

Or the alternative is acceptable, and your list so that you are not subscribed resources are perfectly fine. Do not forget that the REB also has a notion of pub/sub with being the primary and the secondary one.

Are you planning on running on any other virtual machines or the construction of a dedicated virtual machine?

  • BE5k tar BE6k Migration file fails

    Hi we are upgraded to a CUCMBE5k to 6 k (CUCM 9.1.2)

Our existing server is on a HP MSC server and we bought the Cisco UCS C220 server. We follow the guide that describes the creation of the server then the import/export the tar files from the old server to the new CUCM below. Because it is on a new server that I am raising a new at the same time then I'll cut above.

When I run the import, it fails. Attached is the work schedular failier. The log files have some info however, how I should handle this info, if I can. Has anyone experience this problem with the default TAR files?

    Thank you

    Mike

There is no path of migration for CUCM out of a BE5k. You must build the new CUCM cluster from scratch. If you are patient, you can use BAT Import/Export to carry in most parts of the data; However, it will require a lot of massage in Excel, the columns will be different for your old version export and import on 9.1 2. Note that you can move the mailboxes CXN using COBRAS , but you must be on CXN 7.x or newer.

If you have installed Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition 5000 on an MCS-7828 server, and you decide that you need to migrate to separate Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection environments for increased scalability and capacity, you can reuse that MCS-7828 server to run Cisco Unified Communications Manager in a MCS-7825 cluster. Although you can reuse the server, you must reenter your data on the server manually. You must also obtain another server to run Cisco Unity Connection.

  • V.10 CUCM Migration to BE5K BE6K

    Hi all

We currently have CUCM BE5K and we are moving towards BE6K v10. Currently, the version of the call of the Manager's 6.1.5.11900 - 13.

If you wish to migrate, can I follow the steps below:

    1. Firstly we can installed the same version of CUCM 6.1.5.11900 - 13. in Server UCS, take backup of existing cucm and restore in new installed CUCM.
    2. If we restored the backup on the new CUCM, then the procedure of migration to CUCM v.10

kindly let me know the procedure is correct, or any document/link for migration... It would be helpful

    Thank you...

NO, all the foregoing 10.X is virtual only.

5K can go as 9.X and you can check the HW compatibility on the documentation online, easy to find on cisco.com, or by searching the SCC.

    And the name is Jaime.

If you want to go to 10, you need to go to 9.x, export information on the use of the MTD, import on MacOS9.x ESXi, then move on to 10. Have you reviewed the documentation of 5 to 6K?

  • Important: Redundancy lost for BE6K UCS C220 M3S PSU_REDUNDANCY

    Hello team,

We have several deployments based on servers UCS C220 M3 (the famous BE6K) UA.

I'm not derived from systems, I'm a guy of the voice.

In fact, the UCS BE6K C220 M3 comes by default with a single power supply.

However, in the MMIC, we find many times that an alert is triggered for the redundancy of power and the system LED turns into continuous light.

Here's the warning: PSU_REDUNDANCY: PS redundancy sensor, redundancy Lost said

We do not understand why this alert is triggered when we already know that the BE6K server contains only a power supply?

What is a real problem or a false alarm?

    How we clear this alert?

In fact the system LED is orange isn't bodes well from the perspective of the customer. As well as when let us it stay in the State of the orange light, we would be not only a more serious problem (and real) can happen?

    The MMIC version is: 1.5.4f

    Please notify.

Unfortunately not (that I know) but if you go to loopholes in the Server tab, you should be able to view a summary of alerts and check what is happening.

If it is useful, please rate... If it answers your question, please mark as well for future users.

  • How scalable skin?

Is it possible to make scalable UI skin? For example, I need a button, the size of which depends on its label of the skin.

    Thank you

    Hey,.

If you want to create a scalable skin - you can do using the QNX components and then go ahead and create a UISkin for him. If done you will be able to resize the button right anyway you want and it do not bend or deform. I created an approach counting at the time where 0.9.4 shone - it may or may not always work but should give u a good idea on how to address the issue. Here is the link:

  • UCCX BE6K v9.02

I have a stand-alone BE6K UCCX pub and I'm looking to migrate to a server farm virtual no-BE6K.  Does anyone know that it is possible?  Also, I'm looking to add a Subscriber HA to the Pub of UCCX BE6K.  The Subscriber would be also on the virtual farm.  Does anyone know if the sub would work with advertising if the pub remained on the BE6K?

    THX

    Noureddine

Yes, B6K is just a bunch of marketing name, etc. but for CCX, there is absolutely no difference when it comes to OVA, licensing models, models etc., so you will be perfectly fine.

  • Installation of BE6KS

    Hi team,

I plan to proposed for BE6KS for my client.

They are coming with the new office and the employee of the company are no more than 7 to 8 users happen to 50 users, so I proposed it for BE6KS.

Instead of client, they have no connectivity infrastructure such as switch or router, they are just ordered for 4 Mbps line and 1 ISDN PRI line rental.

    BOQ proposed points are below:

    (1) cisco BE6KS with license of the UCL.

    (2) 8841: 7 amendments cisco IP phones.

    (3) conference Audio cisco 8831: 1 phone number.

    (4) cisco POE switch model is WS-C2960X-24PS-L: 1 No.

    (5) model of Access Point WiFi cisco is AIR-SAP702I-N-K9: 1 No.

    (6) cisco SX20 4 X: 1 No.

    I have two doubts

    (1) my concern is that I gave the right solution or not?

    (2) installation as the BE6KS can be used as a data and voice them both in the same position?

As the connectivity of the lease and PRI line is going to be destined for BE6KS/router I have doubt that this solution will make or not any who can give a good solution for this please think for the same.

If proposed things agree that the way in which the installation should I start first, I must create a network that the voice or do I go directly to the installation of BE6KS.

Please suggest for the same, or if possible can you please send a diagram of the architecture.

    Concerning

    Ludivine

As my friend Jaime suggested, if you are a Cisco partner, then you can take advantage of pre-sales of Cisco to verify the nomenclature. Go here http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/support/index.html and open the case using the hotline of the partner.

    To answer your questions:

    (1) BE6K - S seems to be a prefect fit in your case. It will scale up to 150 users in 2921 router. His office called in a solution.

    (2) Yes, the router must be able to make data and voice.

For the installation, you'll need to install and configure the router first.

Then, you will need to configure Remoting MMIC to manage the blade of the UCS.

ESXi should be pre-installed with CUCM and connection of the unit (see below the guide on how to configure these pre-installed applications)
