  I am trying to build a display application and analysis of small data. So far, I can read the data in and choose which channels to draw on x and is the axis of a chart. I am now at the stage of producing some algorithms to apply transformations to the selected channels. The VI is attached as it is currently, as well as some examples of data to read.

  The maximum number of channels is 16, but often, there's much less (only 2 or 3). When I come to do the analysis, I only do on the selected channels, 16 not all. Right now my code is not large, because there are still all the cables table of the index for the grouping of XY trace.

  I thought that there must be a better way to do it-first determine how many channels I selected (table size) and use like the meter for a loop FOR to run this many times. But that's where I'm stuck - even then I'll still end up having to separate the table into several tables 1 d 2D in order to enter a format that will accept the XY trace. At the present time how I see that the number of tables 1 d will always need to each have a node fiber and associated sons and he will always be 16 of them for the case where all channels are used.

  I thought to use graphics/tables of waveform, but it will not always a constant time on the X axis step - it could be a field of force-displacement or anything like that.

  Surely there must be a better way, and I'm simply not see!

  Just a quick question about how great a people environment run express in application. IE Server spec/number of users/number of sites, etc.
  
  I ask this question because we are running a cluster of 2 servers with 4 processors each, and 8 GB of RAM each Linus 5 running and have recently begun to see slight performance problems we frequently experiences on our single server application.

  EPG! fast =. It's great for laptops and go quickly, but not for production systems high volume. Install and configure the latest OSH since the 11g download page. You can run OSH and EPG at the same time against the APEX same instance until you have everything set up the way you want, then move.

• Overall the value 'float' for my windows... and skins?

  I really liked how PS would allow me to open any .psd, etc., in the window of its own fleet, so I could select and drag an image from one doc to another.

  Can not do with the default settings in CS5... but I found a way to "force" that for every doc that I opened AFTER I open it via the top nav bar icon to activate the float for this doc...

  Is there a way to globally define CS5 to never open any doc PS with one already defined on the window float setting?

  Can't find much then surely that must exist, right?

  RE: my point of topic on skin... the whole "grey-ness" of the GUI CS5 me starts... I also don't know how to 'skin' the gray away... you can?

  Hi Jim,.

  Go in Edition > Preferences > Interface...

  Then in the Documents section & panels uncheck "Open Documents as tabs". Also if you do not want to have floating windows dock automatically together in tabbed interface when you move to each other on the screen, uncheck the box "enable floating Document home window.

• How to hide no visible layers in the test film?

  I have a layer that I use for construction purposes, it illustrates that test movie. If I publish settings and uncheck the include layer masked under the flash tab, when I test movie, my cars don't appear along the lines of guide at all and just pop into view in the film ends.

  How does skin off layer visibility during the test the animation without affecting the guidelines hidden?

  I have has created a custom class that extends the ToolTip to style my ToolTips in six different "styles: background color for most."  I can do very well with the Manager of the ToolTip, but he's left heavy and hoped to simplify with a toolTip class that I can style I like.

• How to measure complexity availability operation & Maintenance costs etc.

  We have several configurations to achieve high availability, maximum availability with and/or in data for data centers. Some use Active - Solution of Clustering Active while some use Active - Passive Solution. Some use only BONE clusters like Sun Clusters, Veritas clusters. Often that I noticed, a combination of cluster OS say Veritas Cluster Cluster Oracle (Clusterware + RAC) and database solutions.
  
  In these situations how it is with a Quantitative analysis of each method? What are the inputs, we'd need and how these calculations happen? In searching the Internet, I saw earlier ACTIVE - clusters in ACTIVE database using FCR and Oracle Clusters RAC availability is some 99.xx% while other approaches are noted accordingly. How we are to these quantitative decisions? Could you please advice.
  
  I was asked to come up with these numbers of sub elements mentioned for a few approaches that I suggested.
  
  Availability of the database
  Complexity of the Architecture and understanding.
  Set up costs.
  Operating costs.
  Maintenance costs
  
  For your understanding, I suggested below approaches to achieve high availability with Production data center.
  
  Approach - I: I Active - Passive database running on the node a and b respectively. Db1 will be active on the node and DB2 will be active on the node b. If that fails, they switch to the alternative.
  
  Approach - I: I Active - Passive database running on the node a and b respectively. DB1 and DB2 will be active on node a and node b is still running waiting for a failover event. If that fails, they switch to node b.
  
  Approach - III: I DB1 and DB2 active on the node. We can configure Dataguard (logic or secondary Physics) on node b in the center of production data.
  
  Approach IV: I have a two-node cluster running CARS and will be ACTIVE-ACTIVE database DB1 and DB2 running on them.
  
  Personally, I like the approach IV. However, for commercial reasons, we must make a decision based on the quantitative analysis.
  
  If any of you have already done such an exercise, could you please share yoru experiences here?

  An excellent question, but impossible to estimate because everything depends on your site combinations, experience, budget and hardware/software. Luck is also important. If you hit an unexpected bug you can throw your forecast of availability by the window.

  Companies like Gartner may have intercourse "industry average", based on real data that you can buy, otherwise you really need to implement the solution, best practices research and see if you can improve the availability you learn.

  First of all, you will have to work what is the cost of downtime? For example, if a stock market is declining, it costs billions of dollars. If a HR system does not work, no one cares until payroll. Why build a cluster active / expensive asset if you do not need?

  Then you must standardize hardware and an operating system. How scalable do you need it? Are your applications written to the scale on the CARS, or will they run better on spot?

  Next, you need to compare each solution for single-point-of-failure, develop the component failure rate and the cost to remove this point of failure. Good luck to find the failure rates of the component of your servers, network cards, hard drives, etc.

  Guess the clusters do not have greater availability. Improperly applied RAC clusters can have much more limited availability to single instance well implemented.

  Jarek,

  There is no specific limit on the number of nodes. The only limitation is one of the resources such as bandwidth or CPU network master node, so the question is, as you say, how a replication group uses these resources.

  We look at scalability as a two part question - write scalability and read scalability. For this first release, we are focused mainly on the configurations of a dozen knots and under. With the unique master architecture, write throughput in a single replication group is limited by the capabilities of the master node. Scaling above which is possible to partition the application data, and who currently is something that must be implemented in the application itself.

  Read operations that require a certain level of consistency (which that data are up to date) are, as you request, limited by the fact that the single master propagates changes to all replicas. With this in mind, we put in preparation for future improvements to stoke the replication stream and leave the replica nodes to propagate the changes to other nodes of the replica, but we will wait that improving the feedback on the current function to determine what priority would have. In general, replication node readings have no additional charge above a non-HA configuration.

  I'm not quite sure what you mean by a target architecture. Perhaps mean you an application architecture, or maybe the platforms we tested on? As for the architecture of the application, we thought that on the cases where the application focuses mainly on the availability and trafficking replicas as hot Standby, as well on cases where read scalability was desired, and the aftershocks are actively maintenance requests. The two scenarios have been targeted.

  With respect to the platforms, we tested with a range of materials, ranging from multi core to dog ears computers portable server class machines and also a variety of configurations of the AWS. Measures of importance so on the application and the platform, it would be probably more instructive to briefly describe what our measures were:

  Can someone tell me how scalable the V3 - 571G please that I think it's just a little slower than I thought it would be? If possible, I'd like to double the memory of 4 GB to 8 GB, also, I would like to replace the HDD with a SSD and finally perhaps falling upward graphics. I'm guessing that the memory is the only thing I can change but if there are other things I can do be interested to know exactly what to buy.

  If you do not want to void your warranty - you need to give your laptop in a service. The ram upgrade - you have 2 slots for ram - depends on what is your ram current - you need to get 1 or 2 x4GB. On the SSD - you don't have to "change" the hard drive. It's too expensive to have big SSD. You can install an SSD instead of the cd-rom. You will use it for the OS + virtual memory. And probably some programs that you want to load quickly. DSS really helps

  I have a client where we shot more than 600 images on pink backgrounds; the client loves and however wants to keep this format, they have now been asked if it is possible to have white backgrounds, for use on ebay etc.  The problem is that the background is, as you can see not a constant plate, colour, as we used a halo of light to create separation and in addition it is very close to the skin tones, so traditional selection methods either do not work or are extremely laborious, unless I'm missing something... fingers crossed!

  My question is, this is easily achievable with the existing images and how?  Or am that I better tell the customer it takes re-shoot on a white background?

  I have attached lo_res samples, please note there are also blonde and redhead models.

  

  I had a go at the first image and took about five to ten minutes, but it didn't fix skin tones that will be affected by all this flying around your studio light pink.  But the second image looks more challenging and 600 images to deal with...

  You can see how pink skin tones are against white.  The translucent clothing and reflective black shoes, are fixed quite easily by taking all the Red of the image with a layer masked H/s, but get these skin tones on room for 600 photos... Well I would not work.

  

• Have two of the same class in the library

  I have a GUI that I work with textInput fields.

  I would like to have several forms TextInput, each with a different graphical style. For example, one with a green background and the other with a red.

  At the moment I have in my library, one TextInput form. I use this several times in my form. However, I'm just the creation of instances of this class, and any graphical changes to one of them affects all of them.

  I tried clicking on the TextInput class and selecting "duplicate". However, when you add an instance of the class in doubles at the scene, it causes excessive flicker when operating the output .swf.

  Flickering is usually due to a MovieClip without a stop() on a framework when there is several frames. When you duplicate the clip keep the same base class? For example, you might have had the element such as a TextField or TLFTextField, but when you duplicated it you accidentally set as a MovieClip and added an accidental empty frame.   Probably they mapped the art with invisible geomtry selected in the map art dialog box.

  Hello! I found two tutorials that contain two pieces of what I'm looking for, but I can't seem to understand and get exactly what I want. Here's the first:

  In the first, the general idea is what I'm looking for. Except that I want to load a movieclip and not an image. My problem in this case is the button component that is used. I have no idea how the skin or customize the button, and I can't find a good tutorial to help me so I thought that perhaps it would be easier to just change the actionscript for this code. I want to be able to create my own key (instance) and use so that when people release this button, the clip is displayed!

  I rarely use components, so I couldn't tell without research on this one, but a quick look at the help documentation says that he has nothing to control the content.  If your content is attached to the window of viewing area, you may be able to realign this content compared to the registration of trademarks.  The record is probably not in the upper left corner of the content.
