Scanning disable 2-sided HP 8630

I just installed a new HP 8630 on a desktop running 8.1 Win and attempt at analysis using Adobe 10 Pro.  In Adobe Pro 10, I set the scanner to scan the front side only.  Despite the setting, all my scans letter size count double-sided so, I'm left with a blank page between every analysis from the front before.  So, how can I get the HP 8630 to analyze only the face of the document to the letter format?  Thank you

Hello litigator201,

Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with the printer scan both sides of the document and you want to have this setting disabled.

What we need to do, is go to the HP printer Assistant that sits on the desktop of the computer.  Under this ANALYSIS section, click on a Document or a Photo analysis.  This will open a new window for the Officejet printer.

On the right you will see the option to go into the Advanced settings... Please click on this option.

On the Scan tab, you will see three check boxes.  Please remove the control that is in the box of scan both sides (duplex).

Click OK to accept the changes and then exit out of the HP printer Assistant and attempt that you scan again.

Please do not hesitate to write me again if you have any questions or concerns.

See you soon,.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8600: Scan - disable the 'Save' button with MAC OS 'SIERRA '.

    Hello world

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 installed in a Macbook pro.

After having upgraded to Mac OS Sierra (10.12) 'Save' button in the HP scanning software is now disabled when the save screen appears. Save documents are possible using the 'Test' option in the menu "Preferences".

It worked fine with the latest version of 'El Captain'.

I've searched for scanning HP new version for Mac OS Sierra, but nothing.

Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

    TKS in advance.

    Hello
The HP scanning application is not compatible with Sierra, so you may experience problems.
Remove the HP scanning by moving it to the trash, then empty the trash.

Instead install HP Easy Scan below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:
    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/OSX/installations/Essentials/HP-easy-scan-1_7_0.pkg

If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:
    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/OSX/applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Finally, make sure that your drivers are up-to-date by clicking the Apple icon, select about this Mac and then press on software update.
Click on the Bank on the menu bar, click Reload Page, click all update if an update is available.

  • How to disable double-sided printing on HP jet Office 6700

I just bought a HP officejet 6700 premium for my iMac computer. I also installed Microsoft for my iMac. I don't want the duplex printer forever. I tried going to system preferences / printers, etc. and it directs me to the Web site of the printer. From there I can't find a way to change the default to double-sided printing to 'off '. What impression in Word, select print and then show presets, and it is said that double-sided are turned off, but still, it prints double-sided. I also tried to register a new printer with printing double-sided as off and it still prints double-sided. I also do not know how to change the default setting on the printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi crayric,

    We gladly invite you.

The above information refers to Mac OS X, however, I included the steps for the latest versions of OS X (10.7 or 10.8) because you did not mention the version of your operating system.

If you have an earlier version of the OS 10.6 or 10.5, you may need to click the icon shaped triangle next to the name of the printer to spend the print settings in the print dialog box.

For any question, please specify your exact OS version (you can find that out by clicking the Apple icon, then the about this Mac, also well let me know the exact Office for Mac version installed on your Mac (2004, 2008 or 2011).

  • Cannot turn off Double-sided printing on LaserJet P1102w!

So I just installed this LaserJet P1102w and I absolutely cannot understand how to disable two-sided printing. It's really annoying because even when I try to print only a one page document he sucks a blank page, does not print anything on it and then told me to return the document to print the other side of this one. Sometimes it prints also a Hewlett-Packard test page or something that wastes the toner. I have gone through with a fine tooth comb printing preferences and cannot find a way to turn it off. There is nothing in the user guide on how to disable it. Scan doctor said there is nothing wrong with the printer. I tried to download some sort of aid to this site and is not compatible with this operating system I guess. I've lost hours trying to figure this out and there is no way to call and speak to a human, I guess. I want it out. Can someone please help me and tell me how to disable? It's wasting toner, my time and it's extremely frustrating. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check that the Mode of Duplex in device settings setting in properties P1102w is OFF.

  • How can I scan and collect documents face two pages multi with the HP 6700 doc feeder?

    Hello

I have an OfficeJet 6700. I need to scan documents of several large double-sided pages and want to use the automatic charger. I see nothing in the software to be able to analyze one side of a pile of pages, return them manually, then analyze the other side, and have the pages in a single document. It seems to me that this would be a fairly routine business need and also an easy enough task for software realize (just put each page second in order - basically the opposite of manually printing on both sides) so it makes me think that I must be missing something. Can anyone help please?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello MN42

The 6700 Officejet does not a duplex ADF to allow you to scan a two-sided document. Copy/scanning duplex is supported only in the glass on the model.

I suggest that you are looking to buy a printer Officejet Pro (for example, the Officejet Pro 8600 N911g) If you are looking for the digitization of documents front / back, through the ADF. You can also look for third-party software that supports what you're looking for.

The only way to stop this is to print a page at a time which is a pain in the rear. I click the colate box to disable this feature, but it makes no difference. I went into system preferences (this site seems to suggest I go to printers and faxes, but there is no such thing, it's printers and scanners), but there is no way to disable this option. If I print documents from a music notation software, there is a box to put the two sides feel, but not in word. I print guitar and drum tablature for students and two sided useless when the students, both hands are busy playing an instrument and cannot turn pages! Any help would be appreciated! BTW, wireless printing does not work also and I got an error message when you try to install the latest driver. I don't care actually on good wireless printing. I only mention this in case my problem is a driver problem.

    Hello
Please follow the steps below to disable two-sided printing:

The application used to print, click the file menu, click on print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to see all the available parameters.

Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

  • Help: Laserjet M1536dnf does not scan after replacement of the router

    Hello

I have a LJ1536 that has worked well until I had to replace my network router after it failed. Now, I can print on both computers I have in the same local network, copy locally in the printer, but will not scan. The printer is connected to the router via an access point configured as client and connected to the printer wireless. After the failure this AP router had to be reconfigured to the new router.

I tried scanning disabling firewall and anti-virus, delete and reinstall all software using the latest version on the web and nothing. FX HP Toolbox works very well. HP Print and doctor Scan did not help. WIA service is Started (auto mode) on the computers.

I get the message on the two computers during an attempt of analysis:

    Inaccessible scanner

Scanner communication cannot be established. If make sure that your product is powered, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the product and try to scan the image.

If you are running a software firewall, it can block scan communication. Please visit www.hp.com/go/wirelessprinting for help to configure your firewall.

    Configuration:

Windows 7 64-bit on both computers

    LF1536 FW dated 14/01/2013

    Any suggestion?

    Hi Jhenrichs,

Thanks for the reply.  If the AP was configured to router manufacturer's specifications, it should allow a communication as it did with the previous configuration.  Check the below settings that may fix the problem.

    The AP settings:

    1. make sure that port forwarding is disabled

2 disable DHCP (this should only be enabled on real router), it can be set to automatic or static, but disable DHCP on the access point

    I hope this helps!

  • Scanning multiple pages in the file of an image

Using a printer Office Jet Pro 8600 more, I installed the software and can I print and scan.  However, I am trying to scan a two-sided card family recipes, but the end result is two image files separate (e.g. Pie001 cream and cream Pie002).

I have downloaded and reviewed the online user's Guide, but he doesn't talk Imaging manually double-sided documents (not talking from the charger).

Question: What is the procedure which will allow me to scan a two-sided sheet and save it as an image file?

    Thank you!

    Gman-

What type of file you select when you start the scan, the jpg or pdf?  Jpg files do not support a single image.  If you want to have multi-page documents, select pdf.

  • Hi I am trying to get a working version of Java, but Firefox keeps blocking.

I am trying to view Web sites that use Java, but Firefox keeps blocking. I go in addons and try to authorize but everything is gray and will not let me. Is there a way to use the latest Java and udate or should I go with another browser now?

If you are satisfied with this 'solution', that's fine, but if the current version of Java does not have to appear on the page modules, there may be several reasons for this.

    (1) you may need to install the 32-bit version for Firefox. He cannot use the 64-bit version. Oracle has more information on this in their technical support article: which Java download should I choose for my system to Windows 64-bit operating?

    (2) the installation program may have failed. You can check the physical presence of the plugin DLL here:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_60\bin\plugin2\npjp2.dll

If this folder/file does not exist, the installation failed. Please try the installation again.

    (3) Firefox cannot be scans the registry for plugins. Firefox detects most of the plugins in a registry entry. Some users have scanning disabled for some reason any. Here's how check and fix this:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) If plugin.scan.plid.all is not set to its default value true, double-click it to activate it by default.

If you have changed this setting, close and restart Firefox to start another analysis.

If you see the Add-ons page, section Plugins yet, can you find the current Java plugin it and allow it?

    (4) registry file to the Firefox plugin may be damaged. You can remove it and Firefox plugins re-scan.

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • Menu help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

In the first table of the page, click on the "view file" button to launch a new window of Windows Explorer showing your settings files.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • File menu > exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename pluginreg.dat to something like pluginreg.old

Launch Firefox back up again. (If you want to restore your previous session non-private use history > restore previous Session.)

When you return to the Add ons page, is the current Java plugin finally on the list?

  • Silverlight Plugin missing

I want to watch Netflix and refuses to use an other Brwoser than Firefox. So here's the problem:
After correctly uninstall silverlight and put it back, once again, Netflix continues to give me notice that silverlight must be installed, although it is. I uninstalled Firefox clean and installed again. I went into the internet up and down and did everything, like the microsoft tool, I checked if everything is up to date, I've done everything literally! When I keep the navigation for the solution, I see that on some sites, he advised me to check my addons-> Plugins and select silverlight. Now, I remember seeing Silverlight it there many times, but is not there any more, it is completely absent. Please help me!

If the above does not help...

Firefox usually detects Silverlight since a registry entry created by the Silverlight installer. Points of entry into a file here - you can verify that the file exists:

    c:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Silverlight\5.1.40728.0\npctrl.dll

If the file does not exist, the installation failed.

If there is in this place, there's a number that Firefox cannot find it the possible reasons:

One of the possible reasons for a plugin not installed in which they appear in the page modules are if Firefox has DO NOT scan the registry for plugins. Another is that the settings of Firefox, plugin data storage file is corrupt. Here are the steps to check these possibilities:

Confirm that Firefox scans the registry for plugins

Firefox detects the Silverlight plugin for a registry entry. Some users have scanning disabled for some reason any. Here's how check and fix this:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) If plugin.scan.plid.all is not set to its default value true, double-click it to activate it by default.

If you have changed this setting, close and restart Firefox to start another analysis.

If you visit the Add-ons page again, success?

If Firefox is set to scan, but still do not find Silverlight and the list on the page Add - ons...

Remove the registry file for the plugin for Firefox

Sometimes the pluginreg.dat file is damaged. You can remove it and Firefox plugins re-scan. As a side effect, the plug-ins that you have disabled the page modules probably will be reactivated, you'll need to return to this page once more.

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information

    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

I am running Win7Pro, Firefox 38.0.5 and Adobe Flash 18 NPAPI.

Firefox will not run content Adobe Flash. Please tell us how to fix. I tried to update adobe several times without success.

In case the problem is that the plugin is not activated, you can check the addons page? Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. Search for 'Shockwave Flash' down on a gray background and if you find it, change the 'never activate' to 'ask to activate '.

(With this setting, when you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.) If you do not need Flash to run on the site, ignore the notification ;)

If Shockwave Flash is not listed on the page Add - ons:

Verify the physical presence of the Plugin DLL

    On Windows 7 64 bit, it's here:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

and the file would be named NPSWF32_18_0_0_160.dll (unless there is a newer version with something different instead of 160).

If the file is there... and coming out and starting Firefox save do not discover it...
