    Greetings,

I am running SCCM SP1 2012 in our environment, and I would like to upgrade to the latest and greatest 2012R2SP1.

The R2 line is a paid upgrade or do I get from 2012SP1 to R2SP1?

I was never able to find a clear answer and where to get the files for the upgrade if there is no extra charge.

  • Deployment PXE OptiPlex 5040 problem | WINPE5.0 Boot Image SCCM 2012

Not able to get the PXE working on 5040. It will download the SCCM DP boot image. Once it downloads, it does not start.

Network driver is already part of the Boot Image.

I know it's been a while since this was posted, but I was having the same problem as OP and had the driver of WinPE 10 pack already loaded in SCCM.

Our 5040 are small FF and Intel I219 - V NIC.  I tried to PXE boot so I could install an image of company (Windows 7) on the workstation, but every time load WinPE it could restart because that were not install NIC drivers.  I checked the CARD driver has been added to the image start several times, triple checked it was the same driver on the Dell support site, tried a little more recent driver from the Intel site, even started in the OEM of Windows version and check the drivers - all were the same.  I even went as far as putting the drivers on a USB stick and load via the command prompt, but it just would not work.  On a whim, I loaded the drivers Windows 10 NIC in WinPE via USB and command prompt and that worked.  I guess it's because I'm using WinPE 10 but I've never had to do before.  The driver that I loaded was E1D65x64.inf - we use x 64, if you use x 32 I believe that the pilot will be E1D65x32.inf.

I just did inject the new driver in to our boot image and I'll test after the local RFP PXE is updated.

  • PXE no longer works after upgrade SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU2 to SCCM 2012 R2 Sp1 CU3

We have recently improved SCCM 2012 R SP1 CU2 Cu3 to SCCM and PXE has stopped working.

We have about 55 DP servers in various locations, and all have active PXE. We have this problem in all locations.

Until I did follow the troubleshooting steps below

    (1) uninstall WAIK 10,

    (2) removed from sccm boot images

    (3) installed WAIK 10

Boot images 4) imported from sccm

Boot images redistributed, but always PXE boot fails with the message "not received no boot PXE-53 file name."

SMS PXE newspapers doesn't show any errors. Everyone has faced this problem. ?

Please, look at the white paper following developed to help understand how to manage the TPM and also not recommended for SCCM

    http://FTP.HP.com/pub/caps-SoftPaq/CMIT/whitepapers/building, %20Deploying,%20and%20Updating%20an%20Image%20on%20HP%20Commercial%20PCs.pdf

other whitepapers are available from www.hp.com/go/clientmanagement

BTW, it seems that you must set the pwd BIOS FRONT to manage the TPM

  • Disk controller and raid in the solid state for the T3600 / SCCM OSD boot image

    I'm testing a T3600 for our society.  I'm planning our Win 7 X 64 top using SCCM 2007 image.

I downloaded the drivers of ACR for this Dell system and imported the driver in a package and in the boot image, but when I start my system (WinPC) boot image can find the hard drive and fails immediately when you run the task sequence to install the image.  I restarted the WinPE disc and press F8 to get the prompt BACK.  When I used a part of disk and tried to select disk 0 there no drive to select.

It's a single SSD drive in this system, so I turned off raid but I don't know if I have a few wrong settings in the BIOS or the firmware of the controller, or if I have the correct controller and the hard driver in my boot image.

Someone at - it it works and could you tell me the settings that you used in the BIOS, controller and what drivers you used?

    Thanks for your help.

I got it.  There are two drivers for the controller and I missed a.  It was the PERC H310 for Dell Precision.

  • ASA 5520 Boot Error: Boot Image too large

    Hello

I had 2 ASAs in an Active/Active configuration, but when I deleted the current config and passed back to the simple mode I get an error message at startup ' error: Boot Image too wide. " I've not seen any discussions or discussions on this matter. I am not sure, but I think the best way to solve this problem would be to take the configuration of starting of my still working ASA... send it to a tftp server and put it back on my ASA that will not start. If anyone has experience this problem or can give me a definitive answer regarding a possible solution please post a reply.

    Thank you

    Chris Bailey

You can download the file from the following url. But you must log in using your ID EAC:

    http://www.Cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ASA

The two download asa and asdm.

Once you've got the file asa, load everything first to your ASA. Restart, and then go to the CLI. Load the asdm by using this command:

    copy the flashftp://your-server-IP/pathtofile t: / asdm - 511.bin

  • Satellite Z930-14F - cannot install Win 8.1 SCCM 2012 R2 environment

    Hi all

Series laptops Z Sattelite impossible to install OS (win 8.1) of our SCCM 2012 R2 environment.

No installation or pxe boot interrupted error is shown.
The environment is used in order to correctly install the operating system (win 8.1) on various other seller computers (dell) and the VMS (hyper-v and vmware).

I tried boot UEFI and CMS options and tried to turn off the secure boot. Please advice.

Also, I read on the 'package to install SCCM for Toshiba. This will help in my situation or it's just the driver for SCCM packages?

    Best regards, Evgeny.

I assume you mean on this package from Toshiba:
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/services/on-demand/business-computing/sdp120gs-v/

I put t have much experience using this drive package SCCM, but it is certainly compatible with professional Toshiba laptops. The Satellite / Portege Z930 belong to the range of the company, and I think that the package must be compatible.
This package seems to be for all administrators that manage devices on the network of business with SCCM 2012 R2. Toshiba offers with the new SCCM Toshiba package a solution to integrate other laptop to an existing IT infrastructure quickly and smoothly and all the Driver from Toshiba and application packages and a demonstration task sequence are integrated.

However, it seems that you could get more details about this package directly from Toshiba [email protected]

By the way: The Win 8.1 installation requires the UEFI mode (in which case the UEFI BIOS is available). But the start of another external source requires the secure boot disabled option.
Then maybe you should use the UEFI mode but must clear the safe boot option to boot from LAN.

  • Revolve 810 and SCCM 2012

I'm trying to deploy an operating system via SCCM 2012 a 810 turn and I'm having no luck with the driver for the CARD. I loaded the driver downloaded in SCCM and it is important without error but don't deploy. I put the driver on a usb key and it will load fine.

Look in the file INF of the PCI VEN number is not there for the hardware in the Device Manager, is the right driver?

Any suggestions on getting this driver to work with SCCM?

This driver from Intel has solved the problem for me:

  • P310 and SCCM 2012 R2 questions

    Hello everyone

We have just received the new Thinkcenters P310 and we were tring to the image using SCCM 2012 R2.

We import the driver for the card in the bootimage and it gets the IP address and load to the top of the SCCM screen and then when it gets to the initialization of Windows PE treatment network connection it goes to a white screen and then reboots.

A successful summer with an imaging using SCCM R2 2012 P310. All our other Lenovo P300 system have no problem and thin image.

    Thank you

    Dave

Just checking... you use these drivers in your copy of PE built from the Windows 10 ADK (even if the deployment of W8.1)

    https://support.Lenovo.com/us/en/olddownloads/ds106096

Your infrastructure can support UEFI mode for the purposes of the application of image? Otherwise, make sure that the system is not in pure UEFI, a setting in BIOS mode. If this isn't the case, you need to adjust the settings of the bios. A quick way to do this is to choose "Use optimized default OS" = DISABLE. Then save the settings. then load the BIOS default settings, and then save again.

Check the TPM secure, make sure it is in quiet mode, if you are in legacy bios mode, PTT mode if you are using UEFI pure (once again, a BIOS setting)

A pack of driver for Windows 8.1 for SCCM deployment, covering W7 and W10 instead has not been certified.

You can try this pack, quite informal and not supported. These machines are similar in architecture to the P310

    https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/olddownloads/ds111957.

Alternatively, you can make your own pack driver 8.x Windows... This would contain newer drivers...

    go to this URL: https://download.lenovo.com/cdrt/tools/drivermatrix/dm.html

Put in your P310 four-digit machine type (this isn't P310, it would be something like 30AT) and change the operating system for Win8, you should see drivers, extract orders and install silencers. You can download the drivers from this page.

Remove one of the references of the video driver from your driver package IF your willing P310 with a processor Xeon E3-12xx that ends in a 0 or a 1. These processors do not support the integrated graphics card, which means you must have a discrete graphics card. If you have an nvidia graphics card, do not inject video drivers under the PnP detection process. Instead, set up the driver installation video as part of a sequence of tasks such as installing any other program as an administrator. Search for channels of installation in silent mode for Nvidia video drivers to do this. Generally, an install a Nvidia of PnP driver is a big pain, better to install as a regular software.
