• Element missing in Plugin schema question

  By looking at the schema for the plugins http://www.VMware.com/support/Orchestrator/plugin-4-0.xsd I noticed that when you define a script object there are descriptions allowed for objects, methods, and constructors, but not attribute.  However, when you use the user Orchestrator interface to generate the workflow action script, research of the existing API has attributes with descriptions (e.g., Array.length).

  So my question is if descriptions are allowed for attributes in the Orchestrator engine and it was simply forgotten to add to the schema plugin?

• XML schema questions

  Question 1:

  If I have a number to more than one relationship I want to display in more than one table.  Is there a simple way to link that?

  An example would be a car that use similar elements (seats, etc.).  I do not think that livecycle supports keys

  So the XML looks like

  Q1 - Yes when XML is loaded into the form it goes in a node called xfa.datasets.data. You can also load your own in your own region, so it is not inconsistent with what the (highly recommended) form. There is a set of full of functions to deal with the dom or you can create an E4X object in javascript and use the E4X standard tools to manipulate.

  Q2 - depends on how build you. Case of failure, the SOAP call expire and you can not stop it and report accordingly. Then you can continue in the form without that data (if you allow).

  LOCAL DEVELOPMENT scheme IS
  REMOTE schema is MERUDEV

  I try to copy remote database to my local database tables using the script below.
  

  network_link DEVELOPMENT impdp = schema MERU_DEV_LOCAL_DEV = MERUDEV remap_schema = MERUDEV:DEVELOPMENT TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION = REPLACE

  But the copy of the table does not occur. What could be the problem? Please suggest me or do I need to modify the script

  -monitor the BONE with ps - ef
  -monitor data pump: jobs are dba_datapump_jobs and dba_datapump_sessions
  -monitor with logops: v$ session_longops

• Question about Oracle schema E/R database dictionary

  As we know, the dictionary in an Oracle database is a fairly large beast. I was wondering if there was an ERD of the tables/views most commonly used or available useful. That would make familiar you with the dictionary quite a little easier.
  
  I've been Googling for such a scheme, but without success.
  
  The question is: does anyone know where such a diagram might be available? If Yes, where?

  Are you talking about view DBA_xxx (DBA_TABLES, DBA_USERS, etc.) or V$? If you're talkink about DBA_xxx views, please google with "poster oracle dictionary '..."

• Question of Age Of Empires 3 Color Scheme

  I have re-bought recently Age Of Empires III (complete Collection) that I had lost the discs during a move. I have a new computer game also, with Windows 7.

  I installed AOE3 but get the message: «the color scheme was changed to Windows 7 Basic...» "message... then nothing, the game does not start even

  It's very frustrating. What can I do? (Please don't answer if you don't really know, and you just want to copy and paste a few standard response )

  Here is what helped me:

  Under Windows 7/Vista compatibility modeof AOE 3.

  1. Right click on the .exe of the game file
     1. location of 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III
     2. location of 32 bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III
     3. Read this if you don't know what Vista\Win 7 operating system you have.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Select the compatibility tab.
  4. Checkbox next to run this program in compatibility mode for.
  5. Scroll below it until Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
  6. Click apply and then click OK.

  As far as I know, most versions of Windows 7 include a Compatibility tab. However, if you don't then try this.

  Yes, it is possible.

  Yes, it is the purpose of REMAP_SCHEMA. Import metadata and data from one schema to another.

  It's always better when you have total control of what you're doing. I prefer to put all the tables, of course it not easy, but you can use sql statements to generate the TABLES all = parameters you need like the following:

  SELECT 'TABLES='||table_name
  FROM all_tables
  WHERE owner = ''
    and table_name like 'RECORDS_%'
  ;
  

  In case of import, you need not specify that you must import because the entire dump contains the tables that you imported exported tables, but it is very advisable that you specify the tables.

  So if the tables in the target schema must be created with names different than the original, you must use the parameter REMAP_TABLE =.:

• ODI12c Upgrade Assistant question - schema getting not listed

  Hello Experts,

  I am trying to upgrade ODI11g (11.1.1.7) at ODI12c (12.1.2.0.0) to help upgrade on windows 64-bit Wizard

  Oracle DB 12 c (12.1)
  ODI12c

  JDK-7u51-windows - x 64
  Grouped patch successfully applied (Patches: 16926420, 17170540, 17469061)

  I followed steps below: -.

  1 ODI12c with Enterprise Edition Installation
  2 Create Master and scheme of work such as DEV12_MR1 and DEV12_WR1 respectively on Oracle 12 c DB (using Create User)

  3. master of export and scheme of work with Oracle 11 g DB command exp

  4 Import Master and scheme of work in the 12 c using imp Oracle schema

  IMP SYS / * fromuser = DEV11_MR1 touser = DEV12_MR1 file = D:\exp_DEV11_MR1.dmp log = D:\imp_DEV11_MR1.log
  5. check the master: DEV12_MR1 is connected to the repository of work DEV12_WR1

  6. start the upgrade wizard
  When I get to STEP 5 of the upgrade wizard - diagram of ODI.
  I have given credentials of DBA and try to connect. It connects successfully. However, under the user name of schema , I am unable to see "DEV12_MR1". Therefore not able to go further.

  Let me know if any stage are missed.

  If the UA cannot see your master repository, you probably do not have an entry in the SYSTEM table. SCHEMA_VERSION_REGISTRY$ (accessible via the synonym SCHEMA_VERSION_REGISTRY).

  I copy your DB 11 g SCHEMA_VERSION_REGISTRY line in the 12 c one.

  It will be useful.

• OIM 11 g R2 installation question. Failed to create schema of the IOM by using RCU 11.1.2

  I tried to install OIM 11 g R2 on a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server and were met the following error during the creation of diagrams of IOM. Other patterns, such as metadata, SOA, user's email services and other associated schema creation succeeded. But creating schema IOM took more than 2 minutes and finally it fails with the error below.

  UCR-6130: Action failed
  UCR-6135: error when trying to execute the action of java.
  ################################################################
  
  Components used:
  OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit
  DBS: 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.1)
  UCR: 11.1.2
  
  The first error was ora-12637 package receive failure followed by Table or view does not exist. I couldn't get much information from the IOM and the rcu.log.
  
  I put the processes and the open_cursors session_cached_cursors described in preinstalling OIM 11 g R2 installation step.
  
  Pointers on what will be highly appreciated.

  Copy the msvcr71.dll rcuHome\jdk\jre\bin inside the installer of the UCR and paste in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

  Try to rerun the rcu with the new user, i.e. instead of DEV_OIM, run it with DEV_OIM1.

  Or delete the user DEV_OIM first and then use the same user.

• question about comapring Toad scheme

  I tried to understand what that means but I couldn't find the answer.
  I have a file which is the result of the comparison of two schemas bewteen Toad.
  There is something that I couldn't realize:

  I thought of visible and invisible, index

  is someone can you please tell me what is this to say that I'm stuck here.

  Not sure about your version of oracle. Maybe its 11.x.x.

  Perhaps that is bound to differ between folded down and invisible clues.

  where n 11g, we have possibility to create indexes invisble

  CREATE INDEX index-name ON table_name (column_name) INVISIBLE.

  ALTER INDEX index-name INVISIBLE;
  ALTER INDEX index-name VISIBLE.

  Oracle 11g allows index must be carried as invisible. Invisible index are maintained as any other index, but they are ignored by the optimizer, unless OPTIMIZER_USE_INVISIBLE_INDEXES is set to TRUE

  I installed and configured Vault database on an Oracle 11 g - r2 - 11.2.0.3 to protect a specific schema (SCHEMA_NAME) via a Kingdom. I followed the following doc:

  to ensure that the system and the network user has sufficient rights to complete a schedule pump data Oracle export operation.
  
  I.e. I gave sys and system the following:
  execute dvsys.dbms_macadm.authorize_scheduler_user ('sys', 'SCHEMA_NAME');
  execute dvsys.dbms_macadm.authorize_scheduler_user ('system', 'SCHEMA_NAME');
  
  execute dvsys.dbms_macadm.authorize_datapump_user ('sys', 'SCHEMA_NAME');
  execute dvsys.dbms_macadm.authorize_datapump_user ('system', 'SCHEMA_NAME');
  
  I also create a second domain on the same schema (SCHEMA_NAME) to allow sys and system to manage indexes for the actual tables protected, in order to allow a system to manage indexes for the tables of protected area and sys. This separate realm was created for all types of indexes: Index, Partition of Index and Indextype, sys and system were allowed as the OWNER of this Kingdom.
  
  However, when I try and complete an operation of Oracle Data Pump export on the schematic, I get two errors directly after the following line appears in the export log:
