• Bug certview examing score reports

  I was invited to test Certview Score reporting this following reports of people having difficulties with display of basic reports in certview. Roughly at the time of this post I found the following bugs or bad behaviour in my humble OPINION. I use the Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 m to a Windows Vista computer right now.
  
  A am able to get to the Certview - review history page titled "Oracle University review History.
  
  I see reviews I took here under oracle under both prometric and Pearson view certification program (I do not see previous examinations taken under the Sun / MySQL before recovery; although I see them on the certification page, that's all I expect).
  
  So, I have a table of review as follows:

  When I click on the link 'view' to report results in a review of old previously taken under oracle when prometric was the provider I get a pop up page of tabs with the message:
  

  "There are no registrations associated with your student information."
                        _OK_

  I can understand what is happening here, if the message is not informative.

  When I click on the view link of results reports to the foregoing review (taken under pearson notice) I get a background tab attempts to open a "Loading" message... "on the label... title that goes"Untitled"for a moment and then disappears completely. This tab nearly reached in the foreground, and I stay on the review history page.
  
  
  [3] I did a review for a decision after the new performance plan submitted in November 2012. but the other forum posters seem to have gotten at least a few questions here. I seem to remember blog links that were initially unsuccessful but later successful with exams taken recently.

• Drive Score Reporting?

  What reports you pull out Eloqua connect lead scoring to your sales teams?  FOR INFO. We don't have a salesforce (we MSCRM... yuck).

  If you just want you sales team to know the score of the person they want to contact that is as simple as pass head score to CRM when you do your normal sync. I know you can do this in MSCRM because we were at my last company. All you have to do is to create a score to lead field in MSCRM and map integration. Then sales could filter or sort their sons based score.

  We also ran a lot of reports for them so that they could see how many people was in each partition to identify problems. This was done mostly using filters contact to get the number of people with each score to lead.

• Is it possible to score report for a selected set of questions in a quiz?

  Hi I am new to Captivate and SCORM. I have read the threads on the forum and the blog Lilybirl and learned a lot in the last days. I wish someone could help me with this too:

  We hope to develop a course in a single captivate project that allows the following functions:

  • There are several pre-test and post-test. The scores of each of the preliminary tests will be used to effect branching. See, if we take 1 pre-test and passes, then it will go to the conference 2. otherwise returns to give lectures 1;  If one takes 2 pre-test and past then, then she will go to statement No. 3; otherwise, go back to the 2 conference; same thing for the pretest 3, 4, 5...  Now, I know I can use a custom variable to carry out this part. I can create a varaible user as pretest_score and set it as the 0 at the beginning of each test; Let him do the math all what the learner answers a question slide. Then at the end of each test, jump at the base on the value of the pretest_score. So for the post-test, the pretest_score will be set as 0 once again, and the culculation will start from 0. It will also generate a report page personalized report on each pre-test and post-test scores.
  • However, we want to be able to pass only the final score on the post-test of the LMS. Since I read that most of the quiz variables is read-only. Is there a way I can get around this? Is there something in the package SCORM that I can change the variable I created for that I can pass the value of the variable from the LMS?

  I do not describe it in blog posts, but you could also set the scores from the pre-test to 0 question slides and follow these scores with a user variables and advanced actions. In this way the total score will be only the scores of the final test, where you attach notes to those question slides. Only one bad thing: the total number of questions will have questions included, same with the number used in the progress indicator. You will need to avoid showing those numbers to the user, but if you can live with that, might be easier to create custom question slides.

• Past reports and then zero points quiz

  Hello

  I built a quiz personalized in CP7 with only four buttons that indicate a point each (one at the end of each scenario that I built). I put a question slide real (fill in the blank) with a score of zero at the beginning so that I can have a slide in results of the quiz at the end that will signal the end of Acrobat Connect Pro. The module load and reports scores very well at Adobe until the end (and beginning). Here's the strange happening:

  • When I load the module in a course on connect, as soon as I start the course, it reports a status of "complete" and a score of s/o
  • When the module connects to the LMS (connect) and finally the renders in the window, the report seems fine, with a status of "in progress" and a score of 0/4.
  • I have completed the scenarios one at the time and the score reports to connect very well... 1/4 and 2/4. I see even a 4/4...briefly.
  • When I access the confirmation page (the results of the quiz slide) and click on the "continue" button, the connection says "spent" report (which is awesome... just what I want) but the quiz says SCORE 0/4.

  Huh?

  It is not a problem with Acrobat Connect Pro. I tested the Captivate module according to a legend, the value to display for the rest of the project with the $$cpQuizInfoPointsscored$ $ var inside (thanks RobWard for this brilliant advice!). I see that each button which is supposed to increase the score, and I also see that as soon as I click on the "Continue" button on the quiz results slide, the score goes back to zero.

  Any ideas what I am doing wrong? What I'm missing here? I need to score to stay in 4/4 after the learner has completed all four.

  Thanks for the reply. I did a test project as well and I found my mistake. A "bonehead" error if I say so myself...

  I have the project implemented so that the learner must return to the front of the project after taking the quiz (so they can go in the scenarios again or this training or what they want to do). I realize that I didn't say that in my original post, that makes all the difference.

  To return the learner to the top of the project after they clicked the continue button on the quiz results slide, I had a "dummy" backstage after an onEnter event to access the slide albums (well and advanced action that does this, at least). What I found, was that if the user clicks on the 'Continue' button on the quiz results slide, Captivate think that they are made with the quiz. THEN they go back to the beginning of the quiz, where Captivate guess they want again... to give them a score of zero to make it happen.

  I know that some of you readers see already my mistake...

  If I want that they go back to the top of the quiz and be able to EXAMINE the content, maybe I check the little box in the properties of quiz that allows the user "review quiz" and Captivate in this way they can go back to the top without resetting the score. Switch the "continue" button to "review quiz" and everything is resolved. He reports to connect perfectly. As I said... error "bonehead."

  mayank08, thanks for the idea to test with another project. I would have never found the solution without be recalled strip down to the bare minimum for testing. Thanks for the offer to look over my project. Your answer was very helpful, so I've marked as such.

• Captivate sending score 0 to LMS when there is no quiz?

  There is no doubt in the course. I even checked with 'Advanced Interaction' (F9) and turned off all the objects that are measurable.

  But when I downloaded the course of LMS, it sends the score 0 when learners complete the course.

  It is causing problem since it is a part of the program, and so the score of the course is used for the total score of the curriculum on average.

  Any expert has an idea why this is happening? Or is it a default of Captivate, which doesn't make much sense to me, given that the course is set for "Complete/Incomlete?

• beta test results reports

  Hi all
  I took two beta exams lately: 1Z1 053 (11g Administration II) and 1Z1-054 (11g Performance Tuning). 1Z1 - 053 beta period ended 10 weeks ago (so the results are due), for 1Z1-054 everything recently.
  Now my question is: How do I know if I passed these exams or not? So far, I look at the page history of Prometric candidate periodically, but I understand that this page will be unavailable for the Oracle exams in two weeks. Or should I get an email notification (I was not informed when I passed two beta exams last year)?

  Partitions beta review: I will address all 4 tests beta exceptional here when well even you asked only about 2.
  -053 and 206 beta scores should be available on the website of Prometric on 16 September. Paper score reports will be sent before September 20. You must ensure that your mailing address is updated in your profile prometric.com.

  -144 and 054 score reports will be provided by Oracle. The delivery date is not yet available.

  -Prometric has insured that if, for some reason, candidates receive no reports of scoring for the beta exams they were taking to Prometric, candidates will be able to contact Prometric after September 25 and Prometric help - except for 144 and 054 reviews. Candidates should contact Oracle for those.

  -If you are not able to receive a copy of your report of results for some reason, you can still receive your result of review of [email protected]

  Certificates queue time: We hope that this will reduce Pearson view. However, a part of the wait time is the duration during which some countries take for mail to be delivered. We suggest you to that you allow up to 4 weeks to receive the certificate from where it is sent by mail. Often, it does not take 4 weeks, but sometimes it does.

  Translations of the page: Unfortunately, this has been a problem for us - to ensure that the pages of all countries are compatible with US pages. If you find inconsistencies, send them to [email protected]. We have recently worked on a new process with the web team to ensure that the updates are compatible, but I'm sure there is little clean-up we have to do. We will take a glance at the pages of reference and you ensure that these updates are facts. Thanks for that bring to our attention.

• VI Analyzer Questions: Change the default test configuration and screw "Pavilion".

  I have two things I continue to come through in VI Analyzer:

  1. are there in any case to set the default VI Analyzer so that it applies to all projects, I'm working on that?

  I tried to create a task in project A, registration of the configuration and any attempt to open this file in project B, but it says that the file could not be loaded. The reason for my question is that there are a few default options that just add errors that we don't care (e.g. Controls dialog on the façade - 99% of the LabVIEW code that we are working on is called from TestStand as code modules, so the front panel doesn't really count)

  2. can I score / report some screws as 'safe' for parser tests?

  Basically, some screws may fail some perfectly safe way VI Analyzer tests (e.g. non-stanard errors on a 'closing' VI, who doesn't have a case error structure so that the device always gets closed). I wish I had a way to mark the VI kind VI Analyzer would ignore this particular test. This would allow me to have a rule that says something like "before any construction, run the file configuration VI analyzer and make sure there is not error", as opposed to "run VI Analyzer and examine errors, decide whether or not they are important for the VI in question..." ». An extension to this question would be how do I perform a task VI Analyzer before building when the VI Analyzer screw do not accept files cfg for project based tasks.

  1. a project oriented .cfg file cannot be transferred between projects.  Could you possibly create a .cfg unrelated to the project file (under the option 'Start a new task' on the first page of the VI Analyzer) and use it?  He would have no file in the list, but it would have all of the configured tests as you want.  And you could start with this on your different projects .cfg file... you would just add screws based on file (on page 2 of the VI Analyzer), rather than have all come to you in a .cfg project-based.

  2. on page 4 VI Analyzer, you can exclude certain tests to run on some screws and save these settings in a .cfg.  This option is also exposed in the VI Analyzer API with VIAn exclude the VI.vi Tests.

• XLS to html

  The report xml with the expand.xls format has the feature we're looking for. It allows the development and reduction of the results and have not only expanded the default cases.

  We want to check the results of the tests in a standalone, not as a XML report HTML format that requires a .xls file. I noticed that teststand generates a temporary html file to the XML file. This file is deleted when the report is closed in teststand.

  Is it possible to have the HTML file generated from the XML / XLS to persist and be registered under the score report? I think I can be lack just a report somewhere option.

  I assume you mean actually XSL not XLS (it's a worksheet ). This temporary report is generated by the sequence editor, not the TestStand engine. If you're always going to run through this specific IO, you could add a step in your process template to copy it somewhere else. Otherwise, you need to add your own code to perform the conversion yourself; I think that the sequence editor uses the MSXML package, which shouldn't be too much thought to the interface with.

  It seems that USB is being reported by the operating system as having a GUID Partition Table (GPT). You can check this by looking at the properties of Disk Volumes tab and see what style of score reported is classified. If it lists the GUID, then you will have to do manual things to return the USB in a single volume, MBR, because the operating system does not let you delete volumes on removable media directly.

  1. DOS command box open in administrator mode. In Windows 8, find CMD and then right-click on it and select 'run as administrator '.
  2. At the command prompt, type "diskpart".
  3. Type list disk to see your records.
  4. You can also open the computer management > storage > disk management and check the number of the USB drive disk
  5. Then type "select disk 5 ' replace the 5 with your USB drive number
  6. Type 'clean' and this will remove all the volumes on the active drive of the development of zeroing of sectors. Thus the files that you have on their will also be lost.
  7. Return to disk management, and operating system should now report the USB with the almost total size, but as "unallocated".
  8. Click on the "unallocated" for the USB drive and select new Simple Volume.
  9. Follow the wizard to partition the drive. Make sure you select FAT32 file system.
  10. With a new sound volume, right-click and format the USB. Since most of my USB sticks are now 4 GB or more I use NTFS as the format.

  Then remove the USB and the plug into another machine of Windows 7/8 and it should now report the right size disk and volume.

• Course still fails if there is any questions.

  I made a captivate course 8 and it is a course with no questions. When I download the course and try it it says I failed. I tried to change the publishing settings. I tried to disable the report and put the pass/fail option to 0%, but they do not seem to work.

  Of course there is an option to put in a question that is always correct, but I think it's ugly and inappropriate to do so. Is there a way I can just disable the report of pass/fail completely?

  Success/failure involved in SCORM, you have a component of quiz somewhere in there.  Otherwise you'd just ask on the end not succeeded.

  Some LMS are skittish on the subject.

  If you want to fudge the pass, just add a button somewhere that the learner must click (maybe towards the end of the course to indicate that they want to finish or to join a different last slide), set this button to get a score reported for the quiz.  Clicking the button will therefore leave the learner and who should meet the requirements of your LMS.

• Outcome of the review VDCA510

  Hi all

  I know, it takes about 15 days to receive the VCAP5-DCA exam results. I took my review of VDCA510 Sunday, May 31, 14. I was surprised to receive the report of results of certification immediately after 15 minutes team to complete the examination.

  I don't know if the results of the policy has been changed. Can someone confirm if this is the case where I still have to wait 15 days.

  There have been several improvements to the process, but 15 minutes is the theoretical minimum, assuming that you click 'Finish' and luck is on your side.

  15 days is the maximum and is not out of the question in some cases especially for the CIA, but the average should be under 24 hours for DCA/DTA.

• Captivate 8 game Image with label

  I wish I had a quiz that shows 5 images and have the entitled user the correct label to the image.

  Anyone know how I can do this?

  I've been fiddling with it for a few hours and seem to become any where.

  I would use & slipped in this case, because it can be configured as a slide in the issue, including the score, reports and other features.

  You will have the choice to define labels or images such as draggable. You have the final measures (as for question slides) and the actions of the object.

• VCAP-DCA4 delay results...

  I gave my VCAP-DCA4 review September 27, 2012. It is mentioned in the review that i should wait 10 business days get my results and I thought it was old news and searched in VMware site and includes now the waiting time is 15 working days now.

  It is now almost 18 days completed from the date of my review as of today. I contacted [email protected] to get the status of my results,. Got an answer, that the results are pending and the outcome of your review should be available in the next 2 weeks. I don't know why this delay happens. Thus, a company known as VMWare should follow their dates in the form strict as much as possible or at least they should update their websites with the actual waiting time for results the VCAP-DCA. As I am dieheart fan of VMware, it creates negative effects and also makes me lose interest on my way to certifications in VMware.

  Kindly hand if someone is facing similar problems.

  There is a gap in the documentation for how long will allow you to receive your report of results and we will adjust documentation to eliminate this confusion.

  A separate but laboratory living associated has been requested that I want to meet. The question was if the VCAP4-DCA exam would have retired at the end of 2012. Currently, there are no plans to retire from this review. We do not encourage you to be updated on the latest version of vSphere, but realizing there may be times when you have invested in training related to version 4 then logical you take this version of the exam. This issue may also apply to permissions for the review that expire on December 31, 2012. These permissions will be updated and valid until June 30, 2013.
