• Bug certview examing score reports

  I was invited to test Certview Score reporting this following reports of people having difficulties with display of basic reports in certview. Roughly at the time of this post I found the following bugs or bad behaviour in my humble OPINION. I use the Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 m to a Windows Vista computer right now.
  
  A am able to get to the Certview - review history page titled "Oracle University review History.
  
  I see reviews I took here under oracle under both prometric and Pearson view certification program (I do not see previous examinations taken under the Sun / MySQL before recovery; although I see them on the certification page, that's all I expect).
  
  So, I have a table of review as follows:

  When I click on the link 'view' to report results in a review of old previously taken under oracle when prometric was the provider I get a pop up page of tabs with the message:
  

  "There are no registrations associated with your student information."

  I can understand what is happening here, if the message is not informative.

  When I click on the view link of results reports to the foregoing review (taken under pearson notice) I get a background tab attempts to open a "Loading" message... "on the label... title that goes"Untitled"for a moment and then disappears completely. This tab nearly reached in the foreground, and I stay on the review history page.

• Is it possible to score report for a selected set of questions in a quiz?

  Hi I am new to Captivate and SCORM. I have read the threads on the forum and the blog Lilybirl and learned a lot in the last days. I wish someone could help me with this too:

  We hope to develop a course in a single captivate project that allows the following functions:

  • There are several pre-test and post-test. The scores of each of the preliminary tests will be used to effect branching. See, if we take 1 pre-test and passes, then it will go to the conference 2. otherwise returns to give lectures 1;  If one takes 2 pre-test and past then, then she will go to statement No. 3; otherwise, go back to the 2 conference; same thing for the pretest 3, 4, 5...  Now, I know I can use a custom variable to carry out this part. Is there something in the package SCORM that I can change the variable I created for that I can pass the value of the variable from the LMS?

  I do not describe it in blog posts, but you could also set the scores from the pre-test to 0 question slides and follow these scores with a user variables and advanced actions. In this way the total score will be only the scores of the final test, where you attach notes to those question slides. Only one bad thing: the total number of questions will have questions included, same with the number used in the progress indicator. You will need to avoid showing those numbers to the user, but if you can live with that, might be easier to create custom question slides.

  I have a lot of tables, with several partitions of each:

  My partititions are in the following format:
  P2009W01-> weekly scores

  P2009Q01-> quarterly partitions

  I need a report that will read the above formats (channels) and view a report of the partitins, if it is weekly, daily, monthly or quarterly
  
  for example:

  So I guess I should do something: If the 5th character th is Q, print quarterly, and so on.

  OK after upgrading Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 Home (The Free Upgrade) I have noise problems.

  IDT Sound Drivers (IDT High Definition Audio Codec):

  Speakers integrated into the laptop: they its OK but not as they did in point 8.1 of Windows.

  I've tested on the following:

  Music (sounded OK)
  Played a Youtube video (sounded OK)
  Played a video that I recorded on my PC (its OK)
  Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded OK)

  The portable built-in Microphone seems to be working well.
  
  Turtle Beach headset Z11: they sound like basically no Bass Mono instead of stereo there and The Sound is low even though the volume to 100.

  I've tested on the following:
  Play music (sounded bad)
  Played a Youtube video (sounded bad)
  Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded bad)
  Played a show or a movie on Netflix (bad sound)
  
  In Windows 8.1 speakers embedded in the laptop and the Turtle Beach headset Z11 resembled stereo and strong (perfect).
  
  The helmet Microphone seems to be working very well.
  
  I plugged my headphones Z11 of Turtle Beach to HP from my sister who still has windows 8.1 and my Turtle Beach Z11 helmet sounded very good.

  I plugged my Z11 of Turtle Beach headset in my other sisters that has Windows 10 HP (she has upgraded to Windows 7) and my Z11 of Turtle Beach headset resembled Mono Stereo Instead of.

  After you have solved the problem by reading through countless messages try every difficulty that none of them I went into Control Panel and he took a glance at the the Dolby Advanced Audio Control Panel now I never tested with this before so far but I was able to fix the Audio questions here is exactly what I did :

  When you use your built-in Laptop speakers or possibly other speakers:
  Right-click on start (the white Windows icon located to the left of the bottom of your screen)
  Click on Control Panel
  Click on hardware and sound
  Click Dolby Advanced Audio
  Click on listening experience
  Check Dolby Advanced Audio

  I've tested on the following:
  Play music (sounded great)
  Played a Youtube video (sounded great)
  Played a video that I saved on my PC (sounded great)
  Played a show or a movie on Netflix (sounded great)

  When you use your headset from Turtle Beach Z11 or possibly other headphones:
  Right-click on start (the white Windows icon located to the left of the bottom of your screen)
  Click on Control Panel
  Click on hardware and sound
  Click Dolby Advanced Audio
  Click on listening experience
  Uncheck Dolby Advanced Audio now, your headset should ring loud instead of sound like Mono and stereo and crappy.

  You need to keep the box checked when you use your built-in Laptop speakers, otherwise they will sound like Mono and crappy.

  I could not Downgrade from Windows 8.1 because it said that files deleted even if windows.old was still there, so I just did a Reset instead.

  Thanks to my temporary fix Audio problems are gone, but I hope that HP releases new drivers, so I can't use my temporary Solution.

  Also I hope HP or Microsoft releases new drivers for the Synaptics TouchPad so that people can save their settings.

  This has been corrected by James Yerkes on Microsoft Community:

  Open regedit.exe

  Navigate to:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

  Note it's the LOCAL MACHINE, not the CURRENT USER.

  Search for a key in the installation folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

  Double click and change the value to 0

  Now go back in the Panel of Synaptics, put all how you like and restart.

  in any case if someone has problems with Windows 10 Post here and I'll see if I can help you but I recommend resetting your PC in recovery Menu so that most of the problems will be solved then I would install all my drivers from the manufacturer.

  I am currently using window 8.1 1 driver from AMD and HP drivers.

  Hey everyone here is an update.

  Since microsoft rolled out updates for windows 10 mainly the updated driver to update I had is no longer using the old methods such as the use of the old HP drivers to this windows 10 drivers working for my laptop then everything works fine.

  I always use drivers from AMD for My APU (CPU and graphics card), but everything else is Microsoft I using Microsoft drivers for the month now and have had no problem.

  I hope that everyone knows success with these drivers.

• Executable file runs on the C drive, but reports broken during the launch of a mapped network drive

  I have a built executable.  If I take the entire exe build directory and copy it to disk target C, it works like a champ, but if I copy all the folder on a mapped network drive, I get the error message next to the runtime:

  .NET is a security protocol that will allow you to run .NET applications (or applications that use .NET assemblies) to a network drive. This is normal.

  You can configure permissions for .NET assemblies allow .NET to run from a network drive, but I never had much luck with this work in fact. (Just Google for it).

• How can I copy my old hard hard 'C' to the new reader, "C" drive reports an error and I can not clone!

  My 'C' drive is reported to be in danger of not, so I bought a new 500 GB drive which is currently housed in an external enclosure, my problem is I want to clone my old drive to my new but when I try an error is reported and the process stops.  I installed Win7 as an upgrade of Vista, so I can't mount the new drive as master, and then install Win7 because it will search the former Vista program before it will run. Is there a way I can install Win7 on my new record, at present in the external box connected via USB, and then exchange the reader to the PC to become my new 'C' drive and then individually copying my programs over the old 'C '?   I hope this makes sense, any help would be apprecisted.

  If you have another hard drive, you can put in the case of external use Windows 7 builtin imaging app (Control Panel, Backup & Restore) to take a picture of the old hard disk Save external hard disk. You will also need to make the system repair disc to boot from to restore the image to new hard drive.

   

  Once you're all set, install the new hard drive, boot from cd/dvd repair.

  I hope someone could suggest me some software that can be used to erase a hard drive, but I must have a file/report of the newspaper to confirm successful deletion of the reader.

  Did you consult with Bing or Google to see what other programs are there?  This seems like a request that is somewhat beyond our target audience - most Windows Home users don't need to erase hard drives with reports and save files to document the measures taken.

  The history seems a bit strange and mysterious.

  First of all it s very strange that the laptop crashes without reason and that the protection of HARD drive tool reports errors.

  According to these two questions, I assume that your disk is not ok and it possible s it fails.

  In such cases and HDD replacement is desirable to check if it helps to solve both of these annoying problems.

• Satellite A200 reporting screens not correctable hardware problem blue

  My model Satellite A200 PSAFCA-01H00J is blue screening and reporting of a non correctable hardware problem. I disconnected all devices, including the mouse.

  The self-test would occasionally fail my last update... after reinstallation of windows and the only solution I've found that never fails is to go to Device Manager, uninstall the device from there (do not delete the source files for the driver), and then rescan immediately a new material.

  Then it would work in data acquisition!

  That error means that the disc will fail... soon.

  Once you have done that it's time to run the hard drive Diagnostics.

  Press power and immediately press the F2 key to start the Diagnostics. Choose tests of components , and then choose the hard drive test. The following image was created to help a member of a different thread. This is an example of what you will see.

  

  

  If the hard drive test reports failure, you wil have replace the hard drive with a new one.  Once the new drive is installed, you can use your recovery media (usb or recovery disks set) to perform a recovery of image one factory that will recover the operating system on the new hard drive.
