Scoring model

Anyone know, how many scoring models can be activated at the same time

I guess that if you have the license of the company there is no limit... Here is link to another path on the same issue that can help you...
Is there a limit to how many Lead Scoring models/motors can have?

  • What gives? Research (w / no luck) of E-mail groups in scoring model to drive E10...

What I'm missing here, people? How is - E10 - I can search and locate groups specific e-mail through a filter of Contact Power Tools but I can't find the same groups of email through the rule of engagement model criteria scoring lead? It is specifically stated "emails in folders" - I must be missing something here - can someone please shed some light for me?

    Thank you!

It is I understand that model E10 rating lead you cannot mark based on Group Messaging. You can only score e-mail based on the folders they reside in.

  • Lead scoring model - when it is updated?

(Basically), I wonder how much time is the main model of rating?

For example, if I update the model rules (or thresholds) - should I expect to see the scores change immediately / soon / next day?

Or, if the model remains the same, but something made contact that should affect their score (for example, a click on an email), the speed at which should change their score?

(and a related issue: fact lead scoring Dashboard update to the same?)

It would be useful to know what is waiting, so that I can know how best to use.

    Thank you

    Charlie

@charlie I know the new scoring track model re-scores all daily records (i.e. every 24 hours), but I'm ccing astanbridge on this thread if it can give you accurate information.  I would recommend also join the group E10 lead scoring so you can stay up to date on all the latest articles about the new rating model drive.

    Hope this has been helpful,

  • If our lead scoring model uses a date field, what happens if a contact has a later date in this area?

Our model way of notation uses a field of date for one of its criteria. In the event that the date field is populated with a date in the future (as the rating is based on recency) how the lead rating model would deal with it? For more information, the current lead score measures the date as a "in the last (period of time).

In the last x period will always look like in time in the past, so in the case that a contact does not meet the specified criteria, they will not get marked with this particular rule.

  • Maximum number of models lead scoring

    Hello

Is there a maximum number of LS models that we can use?

We have models of LS campaign and I was wondering if this can create problems anyway.

    Thank you very much

    Factors that can affect performance:

    1. Size of the database (like the database, the slower the potential performance)
    2. Complexity of the Score profile drive or Engagement criteria and parameters (avoid using all wildcards (*) because this can affect performance)
    3. Number of Lead Scoring models (lead most score models, the slowdown of the potential performance; it is recommended that no more than 3 models are enabled at any time)

For example, there may be major performance problems if there are 20 profile and 20 criteria for commitment to a model unique especially if you have a database is greater than 1 million contacts. However, maybe this isn't the case for a smaller size 10K database. The recommended technique even applies for the number of active lead score models - size of the database and the complexity of the criteria and parameters can affect performance.

  • Connection cable model to lead the Score fields of notation

    Hi all

So I build a lead of nice/simple model notation and it is Mark my Eloqua database (I'm E10). The previous "Eloqua Manager" built all the necessary fields of notation, which are all sync would be to SFDC. How can I go about connecting my new scoring model to all legacy fields leader Eloqua and SFDC? Thanks in advance.

    Adam

You need to change your calls external CRM integration (create lead, updating lead, Update Contact) and the map of the new trail marking the model into the corresponding field of the SFDC. Under the 'field mapping' of each external call, delete the 'old' model of the SFDC field mapping and map the new model which should be available on the side right and at the top of the list above ' - '. Note that the scores of lead are not saved to a particular 'contact' of Eloqua but rather a separate table which is visible from the contact record.

  • Lead Scoring - with retroactive effect?

Lead scoring retroactively will inform a contact? If a contact in the database already fills some elements of a new scoring model will get in touch with the update or is marked exclusive to new contacts?

PS - still a newbie, my apologies for asking a question that may already be answered.

    Hi Joshua,.

When an advance of rating module is activated, the entire system will be updated.

If you use a notation program, only the contacts that cross will be updated.

  • Responsible for specific campaign of Score model

It's been a few days I took the class of drive rating...

Can someone verify that I can create a scoring model to drive only a specific campaign scores?

Thanks to all who help falling from rust in my mind.

    Hi Shane,

There are several ways to do it, but a simple would be to create a contact at the contact level field, use as a criterion in the lead score model to add a contact to be part of the lead score.

    Thank you

  • Can drive you score against Klout scores?

If you have the cloud of Klout connector, can mark a klout score of contacts through your lead scoring model?

With cloud connector can you write the value in the contact table or a custom object? If so then you should be able to mark her.

  • Access Plumb Score via API?

Hi, I am building an integration for our society. The RESTful API as always works very well. However I can't find a current lead-score field. Nothing happened in the complete recovery of contact. How can I access this? Thank you Sam

    Hi Sam,

Rating API to drive has not yet been finalized, but once it is, we will add documentation here. In the meantime, you can use the following endpoint to retrieve the partition of lead for a particular contact:

And you can use the following parameter to retrieve the list of rating models:

Please note that there is a chance that these endpoints can change - because this has not been officially released yet. Contracts are close to final - so the changes are minimal.

    Thank you

  • End of the year catching up... what will you do?

As we approach the end of the year, many of us (especially those in B2B) will see the last two weeks and the first week (maybe) to slow down a little. With ALL that extra time on your hands (not) what you pick up that you have not had time to do earlier in the year? Metrics? Data cleansing? Deduping files? Drive speed test?

For me this year it will be all about the lead flow. We have many different processes and groups, and this year I will take the time to look at where everything is happening, how long it takes to get where it needs to go, and where the gaps are.

    What will you do

We will be transitioning our lead scoring model to the new interface of E10, which will involve a lot of tests and re-evaluation.  We must determine a way to translate the A1, B1, C1, etc. in gross to mesh with some marking campaign that we have in Salesforce.

I also need to archive some contacts bounced and unsubscribed off Eloqua... because of some new lead gen efforts, we hit our limit of contact. Yay!

  • Push leads to SFDC when the contact opens an email but has not clicked

    Hello world

I have to push leads to SFDC when the contact opens an email but has not clicked. I have a program generator that updates the CRM. How my canvas campaign looks like so I can push should conduit who opened an email but fact not clicked and dimension as 'Normal '? Should I create another program for this generator? Thank you!

OK, looking at your detailed requirement, I think it's more that just to have two separate lists because you will also need to update contact record to see who has clicked and opened etc... (unless someone of other comments on this subject and provides a simple solution here).

I suggest you explore approach to lead scoring. I think it would be much better option to have to go through sharing lists / route filters.

Top scoring model, you can define the criteria of open clicks vs and give them scores... In the future, you can add additional criteria too for example if the person has submitted a form, visited a web page or a landing page of Elqoua etc. For each criterion, you can set specific scores... You can find information about the partitions of lead here... Eloqua10 drive rating Resource Center (there may be more available resources, so research topliners).

It may take time for you if you are not familiar with the notation of lead but will future proof solution.

If it helps at all then the way we manage click and opens with a form blind on the clicks... so whenever the user clicks on a link in the email they are passed through a form unknown / hidden and on the form, there is normally a specific value that identifies them as users click to get these users to SFDC straight on a daily basis.
Then opens (excluding clicks) is learned separately and we normally and loaded separately (depending on budgets of telemarketing etc.). Having said that we are also developing implementing lead scoring model.

    I hope this helps.

PS: on your question about food... Yes, it is basically adding members to a step... using the charger, you can automate the process. You can find create option charger at the top right in the program (as members).

  • What tools do you use to determine the Web sites that your customers are looking for?

We all know and understand what talking about travel buyers.  Various research estimated that up to 90% of the search is taking place for most online and before a prospect decides to talk to a sales representative.  A session of the CEB Dreamforce I attended to referenced that the average prospect is looking for 10 different sources of information guide their decision to buy and the seller's Web site is just a trust least. (I'm paraphrasing from memory, so don't be too hard on me if something is disabled) It would be useful to know if any of you use tools that help to discover some of these other websites which is underway in addition to our own.  Would love to know what works.  Thank you!

Hi Joseph, you will have problems on this one.  You used to be able to make a number of cough... cough... not strictly beyond the means of the Council.

In the old days, you can use techniques such as SpyJAX, etc. for this - but they don't work anymore

I had a friend that I had used to work with who has worked on a way to push this information automatically in an another marketing automation platform (although you could have done in Eloqua) and adds it to their lead, scoring model.

While on the surface it looked like a really cool idea actually it didn't really prove anything - I digress...

As you quoted the Dreamforce event you attended at the prospect of average search 10 different sources, I think I see what you're trying to identify, you want to know which party 3 different sites of your potential customers are searching on and then find a way to help guide a favorable outcome regarding your product through their research.

First off you should check out some of these Tools to listen to social media.  Here those are all free, but you get others who will analyze linkedin, forums, etc.  Check out mentions of your competitors brand names and products too.

Now you have a list of the various sources that are using your competitors, you now have your target.

You now have your ammo.  You must develop a program of customer awareness.  Which is exploit your product advocates, these are current customers, who are very credible, extremely knowledgeable and love your product for its features.  There are a number of tools out there, that you can use for this.  One of the guys eloqua former albums, Mark organ, developed a software that will help you do just that.  Its platform is called influitive.  I have been an advocate of product before on this platform and believe me, it's the company.  I would probably spend at least one hour per week responding to the challenges posted for me.

For example the company in question had a few targets in the groups they knew prospects would ask "which platform is better, X or Y?  I would join this group, they would give me a few points and then they would issue me any time challenges that this type of issue has come.  Because I had very deep knowledge on both platforms, I could give an answer that is hinged at the question of the person.  I was a 3rd party source, not a salesman saying "I work for company X and my product is the best, call me my details are...» ", this meant that I had a much greater impact in my opinion.

Enter the power of Eloqua.  You get your defenders of a link to your Web site and give them their own unique query string.  All you need to do is pull a report from query string at the end of the month and voila, you not only what you were originally looking for, but your own clientele that contribute to your marketing effort.

    I hope this helps...

  • Is eloqua offers centralized lead scoring?

  • In market just lead Scoring - how to send values to Salesforce?

    Hello

I just activated our first scoring driving model of Eloqua, and I see that the values are now written on contacts in Eloqua. When new contacts are created and marked, this value is pushed in to our instance of Salesforce integrated on the ground of "driving the Score." But we have tens of thousands of contacts with a score of now written lead which has not been pushed to Salesforce, since there is no new activity to trigger the external call. If anyone has encountered this situation before, and how did you manage to write these values in Salesforce records?

I also held intends to do an export of Eloqua in the field of our contacts and then import for Salesforce to get around that, but that feels like a ugly way to do this... But a possible backup option.

All tips are very much appreciated! We are on the E10 and Salesforce Enterprise Edition, if that matters.

bwhalley you can grow one once files with the update CRM program - just create a filter shared using SFDC lead ID is not empty or SFDC Contact ID is not empty and then go to the Builder program and open the SFDC updated program and add members, and then select the shared filter that you just created and it will push all your existing SFDC leads & contacts in SFDC w/the Score to drive.

    Hope that helps!
