Hi, I'm really bad with technology if I appreciate all the comments! I want to see if my problem is a simple before I send mine to fix. My blackberry storm has recently made a low clicking noise when it is not hit. Also the camera does not work. I can see the image that I am about to take, but when I take a picture all I see is a black screen with random colors forming a line on the left side of the screen so no picture don't can be taken. What can I do? Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • Random clicking noise

I hope I still have it in the right forum...

I am currently working on my first Captivate project. There's nothing crazy. Just a narration with animations, some buttons which pause the screen and start demonstrations. When I saw, everything looks great. When I publish... the mouse clicking sound crazy. There seems to be mice randomly clicking noises through the presentation and I can't understand why. I disabled all the sounds of mouse of every possible place I can think to try.

Is this a bug or maybe something be causing it? Let me know if I need to provide any other information. I am using Captivate 2 and have tested on IE and Firefox browsers.

Looks like we are on the right track?

    Please, try the following:

Open the file of one of the on-board demos cp and make sure the sound of the mouse is not active for this one. To be sure that double, using your previous method of the switch and bait for the sound and select new white noise. The fastest way is to go to the table of Storyboard view, select all the slides, click with the right button on one of these, select mouse, see mouse. Right-click again, select mouse, properties for the mouse sound - select the empty sound.

iPhones have a proximity sensor which is supposed to automatically turn off the screen when you hold it in your face. If this is not the case you can take the phone and have it checked.

  • Equium - hard drive makes clicking noises

    Hello, can someone please help?

I think my laptop is in trouble, the hard disk (or I think it's the hard drive) is do a lot of clicking noises and my battery life is running down when the adapter is connected. It seems that run down when the drive made those rattling. When the power mode is energy-saving sometimes stops clicking and the battery life fills up again, but recently its been doing even in power saving mode.

I'm moving all my files on an external hard drive, even though I have a lot of stuff on my lap top. I can't afford a new laptop

    Can someone help me please?

    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

How to help you without knowing your model mobile exact?

Generally if the HARD drive makes clicking noises it s time to replace. Backup to an external drive has been a very good idea.

And how you can lose the life of the battery if the AC adapter is plugged? I put t understand it.

  • Tecra M10 - 12M - clicking noise and slight stutter

I have a problem of sound strange but serious with my Tecra M10 - 12 M in December 2008.
It started to happen a month or two ago and behaves like this:

After the reboot of Vista business, the sound is perfect.
I use my computer throughout the day, then put it in mode "sleep" during the night. The problem begins with the sounds of rattling occasional and slight stutter, then gradually worsens. After 3 to 4 days, the PC becomes impossible to listen to or to use with Skype.

I am a competent computer scientist and have tried to close systematically of all the applications, services, and processes to see if I could find an offender who caused the problem. I did not and I also checked that I have the latest drivers for the Realtek High Definition Audio (with EC). I also tried to disable all the improvements in the sound properties.

The only thing that helps is restarted. The sound is so perfect even once immediately and for several days.

A good example of this phenomenon can be found at http://www.netwv.net/Sound.mp3. Although the example originates from Skype, note that is not a problem associated Skype. But Skype is an important tool for me and this problem really completely disables my PC when it comes to use Skype and listen to the sounds.

Any suggestions to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated!

    Willy

    > The only thing that helps is restarted. The sound is so perfect even once immediately and for several days.

HM strange s it seems that not a sound driver of the questions that you updated the audio driver as well.
I'm not quite sure what could cause this clicking noise when using the Skype
Maybe you should to reinstall Skype too.

If this will not help, then you should clean the BONES using the CCLeaner. This tool is free and cleans the registry and operating system.

But if you still notice the right question then you should check if the new OS install help.
To do this, you must use the Toshiba recovery disc!

  • Satellite C850 - clicking noise and freezes at startup

When I start my computer, I get a clicking sound as the morse code and my computer freezes until the noise stops. Initially, I had 8 Windows on the computer and had the problem then.

I hated Windows 8 anyway so I removed and installed Windows 7 Home Premium, thinking this would eliminate the problem but it did not. When I had Windows installed 8 noise would start at random times, but in Windows 7, it seems to happen at the beginning upward.

Clicks can go for 5 minutes to 20 minutes and it doesn't make a difference if I restart the computer. The mouse can still be moved, but there is no response when I click on something.

Some have suggested it's from the hard disk, but it is deffinately by speakers.
When I'm able to change the volume, the volume by clicking changes also.

    It's driving me crazy!
Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this problem?

    > Some have suggested it's from the hard disk, but it is certainly by the speakers.

I thought that you intervene on the rattling from the HARD drive noise

Start Notepad, press F2 and access the BIOS.

  • Equium A100-147 - clicking noise from the HARD drive

For awhile, I had clicking noise from the HARD drive and when the laptop could not, I assumed the reader was packed but trying a replacement nothing happens. I get a blue light for battery and a blue light (low) for the supply of direct current, but nothing for power or disc. However, when I plugged in an external drive yesterday it starts fine and when I unplugged the laptop continued to work the internal drive. But even once this morning he died and will not start. I read that the BIOS can stop recognizing the drive or maybe that the settings are not being saved when it is off. Could it be the motherboard battery?

    > reading the BIOS can stop recognizing the drive or maybe that the settings are not being saved when it is off

Enter the Bios (press f2 at startup) and check if it recognizes the hard disk. You can see on the home page or the boot option in the Bios.

  • Display driver problems and clicking noise with Satellite C670D-11R

    Hi all

my friend bought a Toshiba Satellite c670d-11r in Germany on a catalogue (Otto to be precise) with Windows 7 Home Premium installed on it.

After a few months he brought to a computer store and a service in the city, he lives to do a fresh install of Windows. A day ago he came to visit me and complained about how slow it was and asked me to install Windows again and that's what I was doing.

After installing that I asked him about the CD of drivers he has no idea where he is or if he even had one so I downloaded all the drivers on the site and installed on her laptop except the display driver.

First I unpacked it in the Appdata path that has been predefined, but that he would not launch after extraction, so I gave in a path custom and tried to run "Installtb.exe" but still once nothing happened so I decided to run the 'Setup.exe', he began installing CCC and after installation, I checked "Dxdiag" but it doesn't always recognize not the GPU in the view tab as in the previous version of Windows, as a "Radeon HD 6320" but as a "Standard video card" I tried everyhing I could come with but nothing really helped, a little later, I noticed a rattling noise where I think the HARD drive should be (to the right of the touchpad) I thought that I broke something , but he said that he noticed that also a few weeks ago by clicking.

I'll post the dxdiag log now if this will help.

    Hello

In regards to the HARD drive clicking noise:
It is nothing unusual can happen with some kind of discs hard I have a few hard drives (internal and external) of two hard drives produce a rattling sometimes noise, but the drive HARD running and working properly so I guess that its ok but nevertheless if possible, back up the data always

    Regarding the ATI driver:
The laptop belongs to the PSC4AE series.
Choose the series C670D PSC4AE in driver download Toshiba form European page pilot would show you the driver compatible v8.812.2.2.

You must download and unzip the package first.
Now you should see the file TCA0056800E.exe.
This file must be decompressed too

Now, go to Device Manager and select the graphics card.
Here to choose install driver then the manual installation procedure. Now point to the folder where you have unzipped the display driver.
AFAIK driver for Win 64 bit files are placed in the driver-> display folder
Usually the Windows operating system must pick up the right files to install the driver

    That s it

  • Satellite L850 and clicking noise

Being a novice with computers I need some advice as to the operation of my new laptop, which is an update of my previous version (5 years)

While using the computer there is a 'click' noise made by computer all few minutes.
Is this his normal? If it's normal, causing the click?

I have an older version of the Satellite laptop and he never does that sound.

Hoping for some advice about this noise

    Hello

Clicking noise can be created per HARD disk.
In many cases its nothing unusual and could count on the HARD drive that is integrated.
I have two laptops. one of the computer s portable HARD drive makes clicking but the device works well, and I didn't notice the big questions.

However, it s recommended to backup the data always in case the HARD drive would be unexpected start to malfunction.

  • Satellite L875 - 12 p - clicking noise

    I used the Satellite L875 - 12 p for about a month.

Since last week, I start noticing clicking noise occurs randomly between the right corner of the mouse touch pad. It's quite strange because this laptop is quite new.

What should I do to fix this?

This rattling noise can be produced by the hard drive. Look at him carefully the next few days and if it get worse the closer contact of Toshiba service provider and ask for help. In the worst cases they replace HDD, free of course.

If you have some important data stored on the HARD drive, from time to time make backups.

  • Screen by clicking on

Hey guys, I bought an iPhone 6s (gray space, 64 GB) 15 days ago. A few days, I found my screen by clicking on when I make 3D touch near my power button. The rattling is obvious. Also, it snaps to the Center and near the right side of my phone. I can watch the screen down a bit near the power button when I 3D button near him. Since then, I stopped running touch force frequently. That question is confronted only by me? Is this a problem with the display?
Is - fixable? Will I get a replacement? Help, please.

    Hey Reesh96,

I understand that you have noticed a movement in the screen of your iPhone. In such a situation, it is best to go for a service set in place for your iPhone. The link below will help guide you in this process.

  • Satellite P850 - Headparking HDD / annoying clicking noise

I bought my Toshiba Satellite P850 12z a couple of weeks and since day 1, he made this annoying rattling noise. After a week or two to try to ignore it, I searched what it is. I guess it was the click of death, but discovered that it is actually a function of the hard drive, designed to protect the disc if it has fallen, guarantor of the head on a ramp when idle.

Apparently, it is supposed to do this every 30 seconds or Yes but mine did it more than 1 in 10 seconds and I can't stand it anymore. I tried some solutions such as changing power management options at their highest level, but nothing has worked. Some people have found that the programs running as "QuietHDD" but these all seem to be 32-bit and no work on windows 7, as they must be run as administrator.

I left about 4 days until that my 21 days return policy runs out and I need to know if there is a way to change this or if I have to return the thing. The only thing I've found that helps is to keep the HARD assets with defrag disk, but it works only for about 20 minutes at a time. I've had laptops before and never had this problem and there is no way that I can put up with this noise for 3 hours while trying to write an essay.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replys.

    Miki

    Hello

The clicking noise is nothing unusual, and in my experience, that depends on the HARD disk that is built into the laptop.
I have two laptops equipped with different hard disks.
A HARD disk created this little snap, the other doesn t.

On my laptop Toshiba the HDD protection that utility is installed which helps protect the disk drive HARD against mechanical damage.
If this utility is enabled, or active, the head of the HARD disk is exposed. The internal Accelerator sensor measuring vibration and if the vibrations are too strong, the sensor to unload HARD drive head to avoid damage to the disc.

If you want you can uninstall or disable this feature, but I do not know if this m will eliminate the rattling noise
If you can't stand the noise, you might try another HARD drive

My computer makes a clicking noise at random - in the diagnosis of the Apple what is the meaning of error 4HDD/30 / 40000005:SATA (0,0) Please?

    Several clues:

    1. HARD and SATA drive in the message... On the way SATA HARD drive
    2. Clicking noise, which is an early signal of imminent death for HARD drive (there are only two types of readers... those who died and those who will be)

I would like to start keep good clones (CarbonCopyClone, bombich.com, $40) for external drives or backups Time Machine.  Any backup of the drive, not just your favorite parts.  Perform backups on a schedule without fail IMHO.

You can also start to consider a SSD at macsales.com (their mercury collection is highly recommended) or a new HARD disk, at least start planning if the SSD cost is worth the benefit of speed on the HARD drive.  You can buy it later.

Just my paranoid approach to this situation.
