Screen is colored for about 3-4 seconds when I run vista and then past black and white after UPDATE 2/10

I had automatic updates and at 03:00 it will download new updates whenever they come. I guess that 2/10 have been installed the updates that came out and when it automatically restarted my computer, everything was normal on the login screen, but once Windows started, 3-4 seconds and it went black and white. It is not my monitor or my video card, I tried 3 OTHER monitors on this and I own two myself. I need to restore both before the update was installed for my screen to return to the color... Anyone else having the same problem or knows what is happening or how to fix? Would appreciate the help. Thank you!

Hey, Kelso,.

There are a few things to try, that might turn back to normal settings.

In display settings, try to change the option of colors up to medium (16 bit) and see if that makes a difference. Change to when. You can also change the resolution settngs. Sometimes just by changing the settings can fix the little quirks.

Have you tried to update video card driver? If this isn't the case, that give a try. You can use the automatic update via the Device Manager, or just go on display card manufacturer's website and download the latest version of the driver.

Hope that helps!

    Hello

I've been test Native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio 3 and very often the audio timeline would freeze for about half a second and the game continues. I also have a good low latency soundcard PCI card, so that does not these breaks.

I managed to get rid of this problem by disabling the second processor core in the BIOS setup. However, I don't like the fact that I'll have to do each time that I use Traktor.

Is it a hardware problem or software? Software that does not use the two hearts should be able to run without problems, but apparently, there are a few interruptions happening that prevent some programs smoothly.

That's why I'm posting here instead of the forums of NOR.

    Hello

Why wouldn't be a hardware problem?
The fact is that the processors with dual core Intel design and it will appear in Device Manager. Also I m sure that Intel will design with double CPU and core more in the future.

However, I think and I'm sure it's only a software problem. Software developers have overlooked this fact that there could be another type of processors. In my opinion, you must contact the software manufacturing support to clear this problem. Maybe a few updates are available.

    That's all I can suggest.

  • S10-3: netbook stops for less than one second when moved

    Hello

Could someone tell me if it is normal that my netbook for less than a second when moved, while I watch movies, for example (the picture freezes for a few moments)? I know that the Lenovo S10-3 has a system of protection of special hard disk which stops him in case of accident, but is it possible that it is so sensitive that it stops for fractions of a second when I move the netbook while the HARD disk works?

    Thank you.

Yes, it may be that sensitive. You can make it less sensitive in Control Panel > Active Protection.

Another alternative would be to place your movies on an SD card / USB and let run out there.

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Whenever something happens on Firefox, I get a Message "Not responding" for about 10-20 seconds.

For the last two days, Firefox acting strangley. It is not plant and must be closed, it's just a lot of crashes Micro. Whenever I change a tab, refresh a page, click on anything, do anything, Firefox doesn't work for about 10 to 20 seconds, sometimes less, sometimes longer. When it happens, I get a message at the top saying (not responding) until it suits me later.

I had been very happy with Firefox, but if this problem cannot be corrected, I'll be forced to find an alternative, I don't like the sound of. Any help would be appreciated...

    Hello Adam.

You may have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, make sure that it's not one of your modules installed, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode , and then select disable all add-ons. If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem. See this article for more information on troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins in the same way.

If you want supported for one of your modules, you will need to contact the author.

  • AFX freezes for 5 seconds when switching between first and AFX

I do a lot of dynamic binding After Effects in first. So I'm constantly switch back and forth between the first and after touch. I would basically create the effect with AFX, then drag the comp on first and put it on my calendar. I would then switch back to AFX and tweak the timing of effects, back to the first and make sure it looks OK, etc.

But since the latest updates, After Effects hangs now for 5 seconds when I move to make a few adjustments.

This seems not to be that great after effects containing 100 comps projects.

I use after effects CC 2015.3 13.8.1.38 and first Pro CC 2015.4 10.4.0 (30) man and 10 PC Windows.

This seems not to be that great after effects containing 100 comps projects.

Æ checks the integrity of the project and saves temporary versions of the project. Sounds perfectly normal to me. You may be able to get the best results by regulalrly flushing the caches, so older versions are not held, but really, this sounds more like you need to adapt to your workflow and splice the comps to separate projects on a "as needed" basis rather than keeping a whole big piece of data with all the consequences.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9900 Bold startup screen 75% and white after.

    Hello forum!

I have a problem with my Blackberry 9900 Bold. I have looked everywhere on the internet and found what my problem is: JVM errors. The only problem is that none of these solutions worked, solutions that have been published 4 to 2 years ago.

Whenever I put in the battery and the phone turns on it loads up to about 75%, then apears white screen and stays like that for days. I tried to do an OS 7.0 to 7.1 upgrade, but after erasing data from the application loader when you try to start the JAVA virtual machine, it does not. I tried to connect to BBSAK, JL_CMDER and BBMCP, the only problem is that it is not connected, only for the application loader. Yes, I deleted Vendor.XML common files > Research In Motion. Every step that I found on the internet that it has been tested. My only question now is to obtain the identified BB JL_CMDER, BBSAK or BBMCP so that I can finally do a full erase.

So please, dear forum users, if you have new information since 2013 I'm more than willing to test it and it works thankfully we.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

Correction problem of the white screen: use 9900_7_0Fast_Installers nuke the phone, then wipe it off. After that use your Application Loader after you delete the two files from the seller (there are thousands of threads on the files of the Application Loader and the seller).

Here are the steps, if you have any other questions which answers are not yet available on the internet, feel free to reply to this message.

  • Installed new module memory for laptop, found original was bad, while windows Vista does not start by going blank after the "status bar".

I have a Windows Vista running on a Sony VIAO laptop and has been updated with level 3 to 4 GB of memory. During the memory test, I found that 2 GB of original module was bad and replace it with the new 2 GB module end back where I started with 3 GB. However, Windows starts only at a little past the rectangle with 3 points moving ("State Bar"?) and them it goes to black and the desktop never appears. I tried to roll back to the last working version of Windows settings, but always the same results.

What can I do now? Is there a way to check and fix disk errors?  Is it possible to install Windows XP Pro or I have to go to Windows 7.  I even has System Mechanic Pro running on this laptop and it did help some casued the problem. It's as if the disc is damaged for some reason any.  Only with Vista felt this helpless.

It seems to me that the new memory you have installed is bad or incompatible with the system.  First, remove all chips and reinstall them and then try to make sure that they are correct and secure again - don't just press them in place, effectively remove and the replacement and make sure they are in the right direction.

Boot from the Installation of Windows Vista genuine disc (or you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc with recovery options included in this topic. If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD (perhaps made on another computer, or perhaps in SafeMode with network if it does not - that would be a good sign if it is true). You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.  Select recovery options and follow the instructions until you see the menu.  Once there, select the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool and run it and see what it says.  If it detects problems (and I suspect it might), you may need to replace the new chip memory.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try other options.

  • SCREEN BLACK WITH WHITE AFTER START POINTER

I went on vacation and turned off my computer.  When I got home, I stupidly plugged in my blackberry storm, while the system was starting the system.  Now all I get is the black screen with the white pointer stupid.  I tried the solution of Task Manager and a few others who were listed in the similar questions to no prevail.  At one point I did a boot repair tool and he returned with it could not repair the iso standards, ico or something like that.  I did a system restore to an earlier date to before I left and that did not help.  Please help me.  Thank you.

    Hello

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.
