screen of bad prints?

I wonder if there is something I can do to improve my screenprints. Or perhaps that they are very well? Let me explain my problem:

Then I do a PrintScreen open Paint Shop Pro and create an image. I save it as a JPG file. But twice recently, which seemed to give poor results. The image looks fine on my pc with Paint Shop Pro, but I upload them to Facebook and it looks like junk when it's something bigger than a thumbnail. So I was wondering... is this just a problem with the Facebook system? Maybe they are without decommissioning of the image to display quickly on the flow of news from my friends?

Then I made several jpg files in this same way of asking for help with my email used in my Outlook accounts. I took screenprints of pages differnet showing servers and ports, and settings in an attempt to fix a problem with an e-mail account which wasn't working properly in my Outlook. I sent these JPG images for people to tech support at my domain registrar. But they said that the images were not visible.

Yet once... maybe it was just that their system degraded the images during transport? I don't know what to think.

Thanks for the info about this software Gadwin. I think I have it for now but may not know that I will use it in the future. I am very familiar with the help of my Paint Shop Pro software and if I do not use Paint, but maybe the quality characteristic that you described would be nice to have. I have no doubt that I could also do with my PSP. But I just discovered that the freeware is really only a 30 day free trial and I already have the PSP, so I'll probably just with her.

===================================================
The version that I have proposed is Freeware and does not expire... maybe you downloaded
the professional version...

There are two versions on the site... scroll up to "Gadwin PrintScreen 4.5 freeware.

The beauty of it is you just make the screenshot and it is immediately saved in the
image of your choice format... no other software is required.

It also has an option to do a partial screenshot by dragging a box around the part
of the screen that you want to save. (to make it work on that you simply check "rectangular area"
the 'Source' screen)

Here is an example of a screen shot:

    1. what happens when you try to print?

    2. you receive an error message/code?

  • Print colors of my screen on a customers bad printer

I run a business from online wedding invitation design. I first create digital files of invitations in Adobe Illustrator CS5, then then I send the PDF to my clients, and finally customers are responsible for the printing of the invitations themselves. Some people print from a computer at home, some have a local print shop print them (professional GOLD places like Staples and Office Max) and some download the design of an online print service.

I use CMYK and Adobe Illustrator CS5 to create my file.

2 times this year I met a problem that I don't know how to fix. The customer said that when they print the PDF at home AND a local printer (staples or otherwise), the colors aren't right. Specifically, my Peach was print Brown for her and my light pink color was Tan felt for her.

The first file I sent him was a PDF I created from Illustrator. I also imported the .ai file in my Photoshop Elements 5.0 and then saved as a JPG and PSD. These two prints of the same results for her. She printed from home and Staples. All two printed wrong.

Can someone tell me why this is happening? I did 250 + sales in the past 12 months, and it's only the second time this has happened.

    Help!

Yes.  You are in a 'open loop' workflow (technically speaking).  I would like to see the color of your application settings in Illustrator (Edit > color settings).  You have created a few nuances in Illustrator.  Select 2 colors that have problems and provide me with the CMYK percentages in the color scheme > CMYK.  For example, the color pink could be something like: 0 %c, 20 %m, 0 %Y, 0% K. In the Illustrator color settings, give us space and work CMYK Destination profile (also RGB color space).  Make sure you have "Compensation of the black ' selected Point.  I recommend the RGB = Adobe RGB color space. = V2 SWOP CMYK color space.  This could be regarded as 'standard' practice and, in most cases, you will not get in trouble press.  In the PDF settings, click on 'Print quality' and in the color setting, select 'leave color unchanged.  Save the configuration as a custom setting that you can use for all your files.  Sending proof online in PDF format, it's not what I was referring to.  You should look into getting a decent Proofer, even if it means just for your peace of mind.  If the file prints out of whack, you have a chance to 'fix' the file before it goes to the customer.  And proof of prnted must always be signed by the customer, which could then submit evidence printed to that print job.  Even online impression sellers have a way to accept the printed evidence.  It simply means waiting for approval.  And, because you're in an open-loop workflow, you must have a way to assure your customers that their work will be printed the way it is supposed to.  Then, you will be paid.  You can take a look at Adobe Print Publishing Guide, a good source of information about the print stream and assigning the establishment of industry standards that will ensure the accuracy of your set of circumstances given.  I was unable to read your screenshot.  I need you to write your settings.

  • DeskJet F4280 flashing Orange and "E" on the screen. refuses to print

I have a HP DeskJet F4280 all-in-one printer.  It worked well for several years.  Today I went to print something and the printer did not respond at all.  I have printed many times before from this computer and it has always worked well.  There are several computers in my home using this printer, running under Windows 7 64-bit and Ubuntu Linux and all have historically worked well.

On the control panel of the printer, there is a light under the ink level for the black cartridge blinking orange.  In addition, there are an 'E' in the display number (photo below).  Read the support forums, I managed to get it printed some kind of test page with these listed errors:

    • 1 pen in chute 1 is of unsupported type
    • 1 pen in chute 1 has put illegal region
    • 1 pen in chute 1 has bad locking bits

I've attached a scan of this full page below.

The ink cartridge is a genuine cartridge HP 60 XL.  The cartridge was filled once at a mall location "ink."  It works very well since being filled, until today.  I managed to print a page of a print job that I've put on hold and it looked very nice.  So there is definitely nothing wrong with the cartridge.

I tried to replace the black cartridge with an old empty cartridge I had lying around the House.  This corrected the error reported on the control panel of the printer.  Since the cartridge is empty, when he tried to print something from that page came still Virgin, but at least the orange light stopped flashing.  When I put the problem cartridge in the printer started pointed out the error once again, with the amber light flashes and the "E" on the screen.

How can I fix my printer to accept this black cartridge?  I don't want much out and blow $60 on a new cartridge when the one I have is quite good.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi denversc and natsemioldskul.

The blinking light under the black ink indicator means it has not detected the ink cartridge. That means the cartridge is empty or gone bad. The 'E' error means that the printer detects something wrong with one of the cartridges.

    http://goo.GL/2lQQS

In the case of denversc, as put in a black cartridge empty old deleted the 'E' error, the problem is with the cartridge. With the help of a charged cartridge may or may not have caused the problem. See the following link for more information on this topic:

  • Print preview screen forces small print

Something happened to the preview screen before printing. It displays the Web site to print as a small box centered at the top of the preview screen print and force feel also like a small box at the top of the printed page. If I change the scale, the image in the Exchange area but not the box itself. This is the box to fill the screen, so it will fill the page when it is printed.

I fixed my own problem - then I will document in case anyone has the same problem. First of all, he had nothing to do with the preview before printing. I found that if I print from the file menu (file / print), which bypassed the print preview, it displays the same little box. When I opened the properties of the printers, I noticed that the Page size has been defined: User Defined (3.5 x 5.0 inches). Where that come from I don't know, but when I changed the size of the Page of: letter (8.5 x 11) and printed the webpage, it filled the paper. Now I can open print preview and it shows the mode full-screen and print the full document. What is strange, is that before I made this change, printing from another browser (like IE) print a web page very well. Only when I used Firefox Page size have not shown in 3.5 x 5.0. I guess the size of the Page - while in Firefox - fixed the problem.

That is right. It is a symbol ID you do not use of wireless. He should have been there all the time that you have been using this printer connected by a USB cable. This should not be changed by an update from HP.
