  I need a script that will separate the content that has been placed in an indesign document by using the feature "place and link.

  I know I can manually go to the link Panel, select the linked content here and click 'remove link' in the Panel menu. However, I have about 200 indesign documents that are all full of content that has been 'placed and connected '. One I get a script to unlink content, I can add it to a batch routine to make the record of 200.

• How to make the calculation script to show 2 decimal places and stop rounding down to integers?

  Hello. First of all, thank you to those of you who have helped me create an interactive PDF file last year that worked perfectly if only integers are entered. This year, my client wants to show two decimal places in the calculations, and I'm back in this forum hoping to find the same expertise to make it happen.

  My form includes 43 fields for various monthly expenses. The sign of dollar for each field is part of the content of the form, not part of the scope of formatting. Users enter values directly in these fields, and the fields are formatted to display two decimal places. Each of these includes a the following validation script:

  Event.RC =! (event.value & & + event.value < 0);

  
  

  To the right of each of these fees, the fields are yes/no boxes ( expense Typecalled) that answer the question, "is this essential expense? The value of exports for Yes's 'essential', and the value of exports is "discretionary".

  
  

  A value entered in all areas of expenditure is directed to the field Total expenses by checking Yes or field Total discretionary spending by clicking No. two of these total fields are formatted to display two decimal places. In addition to long calculation scripts, the two totals fields include this custom validation script:

  Here's the problem: when values with two decimal places are entered in any area of expenditure, the calculation in two fields of total script rounded to the whole number closest. When 10.99 is entered in a field of expenditure and the Yes checkbox is checked, the value 10.00 is displayed in the field Total expenses . I want to display 10.99.

  For testing purposes, I inserted a new text field and did a simple calculation in choosing the fields of the somme and the values displayed correctly. The problem is definitely with the script in the two fields in total .

  
  

  I can drop the scripts of math here, but they are long and I'm not sure what the Protocol is super-long positions. I could also download the file, but I never did it and will need to understand this.

  To explicitly convert the field values for numbers, do something like this instead:

  var expense0 = + getField('monthly$.0').value,

  depenses1 = + getField('monthly$.1').value,

  etc.

• FM 12 - imported blurry images but OK in PDF output

  Does anyone know how to make the images inside my FM files look better?  The images are 150dpi and seem perfectly fine when I convert them to PDF.  I wish I had a better viewing of experience inside the FM.  Can I change the settings on the computer, etc. for this problem? Thank you, in advance, for advice.

  Photographic images to these parameters should go reasonably well in FM. However, if these are screenshots where you have some straight lines and text, then you use a wrong format. JPG compression is frozen and introduce artifacts (ringtone, shadows, fuzzies) around texts and straight or mixed borders. You use PNG for screenshots.

• Import an image into a signed pdf

  This may seem like a strange request, but I have a large document in which the approvers are signing on sections of the document. There will be 2 signatures and then I need to add 2 images in the document. After that, there will be a final signature that locks the document for editing. Is there a way to do this? I've searched high and low and have not found anything on this subject. Thanks in advance.

  Hi Chad,

  My suggestion is to add pictures as attachments. After the first two signatures are added, you can use the comments > comment & markup tools > attach a file as a comment menu item to add the photos. The downside is that the image does not appear unless you open it in a separate file.

  If you need to the image to display the other option is to turn the image into a custom, stamp which can be applied until you lock the final document with digital signature. The drawback here is if the image is always different we must constantly create custom stamps, but the advantage is that the image is displayed.

  Do not forget that the 'lock after signing Document"check box appears on the dialog box sign the Document If you sign the last unsigned signature field, and it is not selected by default and you will need to remember to check the box.

  The usual way. Use slideshowImages.length to get the number of images; Then, you can loop through all of the images and place each of them:

  If you had probably two problems

  Permissions, the other is the hardware problem causing slow import and the card cannot be read by your operating system.

I have several images saved characters with different angles. what I want to do is put everything on a single sheet to print. so, for example, ive has obtained as a leprechaun on front left and right view and rear view. I have several characters saved like that. I want to put everything on a single image to print on a sheet of paper. is there a way to select all the images at once. Place them in the scene and then resize everything at once and remove the white background of them suddenly, rather laboriously make them one at a time because its blows my mind right now. (if you were wondering why the hell I am doing this for D & D, they will cut outs, in several positions, with different armor that can be pasted on the body of the main character) anyway, thanks in advance for any help. bad shares with the community when you are finished if anyone wants them for their own games!

  I´n, not quite sure what you are trying to do but I m afraid it s is not possible in InDesign. Coordinates are always referring to the page, or in fact the origin usually located on the top left corner of the page.

  If you want just a single image for multiple images, you can try to use the dough in the command. Group your images and edit > cut. A blank rectangle, select, and edit > paste inside. Now you have your image within a group setting and they Joanie act as a single image, if for example evolve you your frame...

• Batch 'Place' gets off center after several images

  It's kind of hard to explain.  I'm trying to place a border and a watermark on the multiple images using the place command.  The image I use to place is a file .psd with a transparent background.  The main images are tiff files.  The problem is, that after a number of images that change, the placed image (border/watermark) gets biased by a few pixels every time and I find myself with a border of offset to the right.  How can I fix?  Here is my method:

  1. action to create

  2. resize the image for 300 DPI 1200x1800px.

  3. "set" border/watermark image above the main image.  Central position is 600px 1200px.  100.1% to each side

  4. Flatten Image

  5. sharpen

  6 close action

  7. I can select several images via the bridge and go to 'Batch' or 'Processor of Image' and run it.

  8. in several images, the placed image "slips" to the right by a pixel or two each image.

  Y at - it something I'm doing wrong here?  The placed image is the same size and orientation as the original images.

  Before your flatten step you can then select the layer: -.

  Layer - align layers to selection - vertical centers
  Layer - align layers to selection - horizontal centers

  This should make sure that it is in the Center.

  When you create a DVD Maker project, I am able to add several images, and then I added successfully a video at the end of the photos. In order to catch up with my story, I would now like to add another group of images after the video. In other words, my goal is to have three scenes, IE 1 scene will be the first batch of images. Scene2 will be video and scene 3 to be the second batch of photos
  However, I find that whenever I try to add the second batch of photos they're all in the first group of photos automatically. I find myself with a larger size Scene1 and the Scene2 video.
  How can we separate the two groups of photos, when I open the DVD maker I see only a folder with pictures and the folder with the video. Can I change the order of these two, but I can't create the third folder of photos.

  would be to create three projects Live Movie Maker and
  Save each in the. WMV Movie format. Then, when you

  If I understand correctly...

  The photos you have posted in a particular order (probably the result of a selection). You can select contiguous files by clicking the first item, and then, with the SHIFT key, click the last item you want. That should highlight your contiguous files.

  Then, you use the function "export" in the file menu.

  In the dialog box, you have several useful options: file format, compression, the file size, the possible change of name and the destination. This destination can be a USB key or a Dropbox folder, as suggested by hatstead.

  If you have a large number to select, it's usually possible create a search with various criteria so that only the desired files are indicated.

  If you are not satisfied with the sort order (chronological, filename, import batch), I suggest to create an album. In an album, you can manually sort you want by moving the thumbnails in the navigation area. (Depends on your version of elements).

  Then all you have to do after that selection should select all (Ctrl A) and to export.

  All the products I have, can be chosen in 8 different sizes. And for each product and sizes, I need to put them in a room set file and then save it as a web file.

  Each product to a particular size should be placed in the same area in the game room and have the same effect.

  For this, I have:

  1. create a bedroom set

  2. create models with sizes right for products to be included in the entire room (up to 8).

  3.I have created a series of actions for all sizes. Size of the image including the canvas size and export to a folder to have a layer for each product sizes.

  4.I need then to charge batteries to create a group and drag - move these files to the whole of the room.

  5 then I paste effects on all the layers in the group.

  6.I moved all layers in the right place, as a result of my models.

  So, I would avoid some steps of this... Because I have 100 products, so 800 files to create.

  If I can find a way to import (swap file one by one in the same place and sizes, she will avoid steps 3, 4 and 6, which will make my life much easier...)

  If I understand correctly, you already have a common framework for all 100 products.

  For each product, you already have 8 image sizes to be placed in the parameter.

  If this is the case, the Variables can be the most convenient option that, once the model and tab delimited file are created, the placement of all the images of 800 would we automatic, accurate and extremely efficient both. Even if you work with images, I suggest rather than images and the type you watch the video and look at how it can be applied to your project.
