SDHC or SDXC

I just bought a Z3 and know that it supports SDXC mem-cards up to 128 gb but I can use SDHC cards or that problem.

TKS and greetings,

Stan (Beginner)

SDHC means up to 32 GB. SDXC means more than 32, so you can go safely for 64/128.

  • Photosmart C4140: Using the adapter for SDHC and SDXC CF in Photosmart C4140

I have a Photosmart C4140 printer and my cameras using SDHC and SDXC memory cards. I read the specs and some info online and it was stated that this printer does not support these cards. I bought a CF Ultimate Digigear adapter that accepts SDHC and SDCX cards for use in a CF Type 2 slot as the slot on the C4140.  I tried one of my SDXC cards and I get an error "memory card" on the LCD of the printer. Then, I tried the SDHC card in this card and it worked. I was able to view the photos on the LCD of the printer. However, when I tried this SDHC card by removing the adapter and re - insert into the CF slot, I started having the 'memory card error '.  I couldn't read this SDHC card in the new CF adapter. What could happen that he would only read the card only once? I checked this SDHC card in my camera and it still works and can store images. Does anyone know of any other CF adapters that can work?

Info on this CF adapter can be found here:

    http://www.shopdigi.com/product.aspx?pf_id=SDXCF

I would like any advice or ideas.

After some trial and error, I discovered that the CF adapter has one slight movement from side to side, as he goes into the card slot see By putting my thumbs on the corners of the card and pushing the adapter in a fluid, non-stop movement, I was able to get the printer to recognize the adapter and the memory card. It takes a little practice.  This CF adapter works fine. Now I can use the cards SDHC and SDXC times with my printer. I need to buy a new printer.

  • Satellite A500-1GH - SD slot is compatible with SDHC and SDXC?

I have a Satellite A500-1GH with Windows 7 64 bit. I'm about to buy an SD card, and I was wondering if the SD card on the front of the laptop is compatible with SDHC cards and latest SDXC cards. If so, do I need to download some software or drivers for this type of SD cards to work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi xactxx,

Normally you can answer this question yourself... What do you think?

You only need the manual and you will find a list of supported SD and SDHC cards.
It supports SDHC up to 16 GB cards.

  • Extreme SDHC or SDXC card work in Portege R600

The R600 does support the sandisk 'extreme 30 MB' card or SDXC card?

I ask because they seem to be the only ones with a capacity of 64 GB. I need the maximum possible additional capacity

    TIA/gary

    Hello

AFAIK the SD SD card reader supports card up to 2 GB, SDHC up to 16 GB and mini SD (with adapter) up to 2GB.

I didn t find all the details on the use of larger SDHC cards and I think you will have to test it yourself. But in my opinion, there could be a problem with these cards!

  • Pavilion a1020n update to read micro sdhc 4 GB cards and more?

HP Pavilion a1020n, running Windows XP, does not recognize memory cards over 2 GB. I try to use the microphone with adapter, both 4GB and 32GB sandisk card.

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion a1020n. According to specifications, your computer has been on sale on or around 06/03/2005. The SDHC specification was completed around June 2006, and the product and the support for the SDHC took time to put on the market. That your computer has been made before the introduction of SDHC, it isn't / won't be able to read / writng to SDHC or SDXC cards. To use these maps on your computer will require the use of an external USB card reader.

  • Can read the SD card SDXC standard S7-392?

The Acer S7-392 record indicate only "SD", but not whether the SDHC or SDXC card types can be read. A quick search of the web shows several contradictory web pages! Some say: 'Yes,' some say 'no '.

So, if all goes well a real representative Acer or a real owner of S7 - 392 may answer: can the slot built-in SD read the new SDXC format (which, according to Wikipedia, will be formatted with the exFAT file system)?

    Thank you!

Yes. I use a card of exFAT Sandisk Extreme 64 gb with no problems

  • 13 - p111 nr X 2: SDXC support in notebook nr X 2 13-p111?

Is the built-in card reader in my my laptop support (Win 8.1) nr X 2 13 - p111 SDXC cards in housing or the two (standard and micro)?  8.1 win supports the file system, but my 64 GB sd micro card is not recognized in the accommodation on board, making me think that material of card reader may not support this format.  If the embedded player is not, the laptop must always recognize a 64 GB SDXC card in a USB card reader key?

I looked in the service manual for this X 2 laptop and it is not specific about the 0r of SD, SDHC or SDXC support.  Where can I find specifications of the comprehensive system for this machine?

  • SD SDHC READER READ DO NOT?

I have a HP Media Center PC. Model: m7350.uk

I am running XP pro and the SD reader cannot read SDHC cards, y at - it an update of firmware for this?

    any help is greatly appreciated!

If the SD card reader was built before the widespread use of the SDHC specification is contrary to to read/write to SDHC cards. Sorry, but you won't find an update/upgrade to update firmware to solve this problem. The only cure is to purchase a SDHC or SDXC compatible card reader.

  • Wireless with AT300 issues

I recently bought an AT300 and everything is good except the Tablet does not detect my network wireless on the SSID number I have a dual band Netgear Modem router running on 5.8/2.4 with active G and N of the SSID. All other devices that I have who have Wireless N cards see and connect SSID N, including a Toshiba Satellite and a 1 Gen iPad.

Is there a known problem with the adapter the AT300 wireless?

In addition, what are the specifications of the SD card? What memory capacities and classes it will support. The Toshiba product page is a bit light on the news.

    Post edited by: Smash77

I should add that the AT300 detects and connects to the SSID G without problem.

    Hello

To my knowledge the AT300 are equipped with a map of combo of WLan 11 b/g/n-BCM4330 of Broadcom support BT also.

As much I know as the standard 802.11 N can operate at 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz, but if the wireless network adapter does not support the standard 802.11, 802. 11 N would support only 2.4 Ghz
Should check this on your router.

I put t know any other details on the media slot because this slot will not support SD, SDHC and SDXC common cards.

    Hello

I have a screen of camcorder Camileo X 200 and if I record more 3 minutes or so of the video it says "Invalid" in red on a white background on the screen.

If I put the memory card in the computer, there is a file on the card and its size corresponds to what how long I tried to register to see if I record 8 minutes, I get to roughly double what I get after registering for 4 minutes.

I tried to play the files on the computer with different codecs and different actors to see if that helped, but nothing plays files creates the camera.

Registration for a minute so everything goes well, the video and sound are there and everything seems, turns and sounds like I expect, it's only when I record more than 3 minutes of video that the problem occurs.

    I tried

-different sizes from 1 to 32 GB memory cards
-format cards in NTFS, FAT, and FAT32
-cards on the camera of formatting
-cards on different computers of formatting
-remove the battery and the memory card and leave it for a week the depower
    -reset to factory settings

It has been like this since I bought it. She was new in a sealed box and I would have returned it but the seller mysteriously disappeared and is unreachable. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

I think that this alert means that the SD card is too low speed or contains corrupted files.
The way to resolve these conditions is to format the SD card by the camcorder instead of PC

In case this does not solve this problem, you must use the SD/SDHC or SDXC card that supports a record higher speed (upper class of SD card)

I have tested everything, all the drivers are updated, and it happens even with laptop in safe mode.

This happens with the internal drive, if I use an external SD card reader connected to USB, isn´t there is no problem, so there is no physical problem with the maps.

I use 2 SD, one of the other with 32 GB and 128GB.

  • CARD READER USB FOR DESKTOP HP PAVILION 500 - C60?

I have a new 500 - C60 HP Pavilion desktop computer, but the front card reader does not accept the largest flash Compact Flash (CF) card.  I have an old USB multi-card with four different card slots, which accepts the card see  Would this setting work satisfactorly?

    Thank you

    shamrock838

    Hello @shamrock838,

I understand that your desktop HP Pavilion 500 - c60 PC does not support the biggest Compact Flash Memory Card and you are curious as to whether or not you can install an USB multicard Reader which accepts the memory card see First of all, you have reason 7 - in1 media card reader did it installed does not supported CF memory card, but it supports the following cards:

    • Digital safe™ (SD)
    • Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC)
    • SDXC
    • Memory Stick
    • Memory Stick Select
    • Memory Stick PRO
    • Memory Stick MagicGate

I don't see why you can't connect the 4 - in1 USB multicard reader you have. Until the operating system detects and installs, you should be fine.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Atrix 4 g (stock 2.3.6) memory card suggestions

Recently, I have lost my 16 GB sandisk sdhc class 4 memory card for atrix 4g. I need to comment on a new map, as it is to say "Go how and what grade is recommended for atrix 4 g. I especially use the device for work and store files, photos and presentations power point. any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you!!

Technically 32 GB is the maximum in the SDHC - but SDXC specification allows for up to 2 TB cards and some will work with SDHC - the 64 GB, being one of them, but this does NOT all 64 GB or SDXC cards will work.

If you want to be safe, stay at 32GB or less, but if someone has a good experience with a larger map or 64 GB, it should work on your phone. This is related to hardware, software change a phone should not matter in that regard.

Other MotoXprts have used the 64 GB cards in some of their phones and they work fine. Do not forget this, you pay a premium to get the largest on the market today. 32 GB cost well now - 64 GB were always expensive, last time I looked.

  • SD cards - capacity and use

What capacity (SDS and Micro) SD cards can accommodate the Split of HP X 2?  In addition, the two cards can be used for storage at the same time?  I have critical data that I want to record to the SSD and SSD of microphone.  Can I do this?

Thanks in advance for the help.

What is a SDS or SSD SD card?

My 13 HP x 2 Split easily recognizes my Micro-SDXC 64 GB card Micro-SD slot and in the large full slot using an SD-MicroSD adapter. The computer must be able to use the two sizes of SD cards up to the maximum capacity of the industry for each type (SD, SDHC, and SDXC). SDXC will have larger capacities available... maybe up to 256 GB.
