• Audio stops playing after about 30 seconds, the continuous video

  I created a movie with music.  During the preview, the video and the audio works fine.  The problem is when I watch the video on my pc, the sound stops playing after about 30 seconds and the video continues.  When I reset to that point the audio begins again, then stops shortly after and the video still continues.  It is a mpeg format and played on the windows media player 11.  What is the problem with the audio?  Looking for solutions to this problem.

  Thanks people for your suggestions and advice.  I had the sound to play.  I did change the audio settings for dolby to mpeg and that makes the difference.

  I would like to install a second DVD player in my PC, but because most DVD players have their own door opening, like the PC, should I buy a HP drive, or there at - there a way to disable the built in door?  Are there written policies of this?  I have installed additional disks on other computers, but none of them had built in door and built-in open button.  Thank you.  Mike

Just follow the instructions in the guide mentioned above and place the new drive into the open slot. Any SATA optical drive with a load of 'plateau' should work fine.   You can try the method QNXApplication openFile and the File class has an openWithDefaultApplication. These two are supposed to do the same thing, but they do not. So, if one does not work, try the other. They are both supposed to work in the next version of the operating system.

• Why they are my exports video extra second bad audio at the end?

  I've recently updated to the last Premiere Pro CC 2015 (February 2016) and I'm having a serious problem with exports. At the end of each export, after that the audio is supposed to disappear for a cross fades, there's an extra second or more audio that is a repetition/echo of the end of the audio track. The video out crumbles as it should but the second additional audio during the dissolution of the video ruins exports. It is a new glitch/bug that I've never experienced before.

  As noted I use bland Crusaders for audio exit point. Then I tried to fade by using keyframes at the end of my audio tracks. In some export audio now will cancel at the end of the video as it should. Other exports (including exports batch that apparently), there's even more time audio which ruins the video. Does anyone else know this? Anyone know a good corrections?

  Yes, it is a known problem that will be fixed in a future release of Premiere Pro. In the meantime, there are two workaround solutions:

  (1) place a clip in the section of your sequence with no audio (which occurs the closure) and either the volume to negative infinity, or disable the clip (right click > activate). You can also place a silent clip exported/generated in the section.

  (2) for export through TEA, which is where this problem occurs, turn on the preference of the SOUL "import of the sequences in native mode. This should prevent the problem even if you do not have the above steps.

• Second DVD player not recognized

  I installed a second DVD disc in a precision T3400 desktop.  The device is powered and the drawer opens and closes, but it is not recognized by the system.

  Is there a particular sequence to connect the SATA cable on the motherboard?

  Even with 2 identical DVD drives, the system is unable to distinguish them?  I can't find a solution in the user manual.

  Smooth buffering depends on your internet speed. Make sure that your connection is very good.

• Time to DVD Menu Video DVD Maker is not the same when the DVD is played.

  I'm using Win7 x 64, Windows Live Movie Maker and DVD creation.

  I have a built in Movie Maker movie, I use DVD Maker to put it on DVD. I chose the theme of the "video wall" for the project.  I have a secondary video I use a background video and an MP3 track that I use DVD audio Menu.

  Simple details of the problem:
  My real video plays Fine, but my video 'DVD Menu' give me issues.

  Everything works perfectly when I "Preview" the film inside the creation of DVD. Background video and audio play in their entirety. However, when I burn the DVD, but the video freezes EXACTLY at one minute while the Audio continues to play in its entirety. I tried to make the video and audio of the exact same length 3 minutes, 14seconds.

  How can I get the video DVD Menu to play to an end with the audio track?

  Intricate details of the problem:

  Initially, I met a problem with the video DVD Menu from 15 seconds in the video rather than at the beginning and then a loop after about 15 seconds. The preview reflects, as did the test DVD I burned of the project.

  To resolve this problem, I modified two elements of the XML file that is used for my theme. InputStart Offset (I set to 0.0, then the video starts at the beginning) and the MenuEndTime for the intro (I updated 195000 to account for the entire video). With these values in place, the preview was able to display the video for its entire duration (at the same time as the audio track). However when I check the DVD on a DVD player, read it in Media Center, or even on a Macbook, the Menu of the DVD video background freezes a clearly mentions mark a minute.

  Examining the physical files engraved on the DVD that I discovered that the DVD menu appears as a video named VTS_01_0.VOB. I can see this video using Realplayer (and VLC) and the duration was EXACTLY what I see in the Menu of the DVD. The background cut video to mark it exactly a minute.

  The problem seems to me that the encoding of the DVD is not even including anything after this mark one minute for the background video.

  I've experimented with change other elements of the file XML in DVD Maker in an effort to solve the problem but have had no success. I currently suspect that the problem is NOT in the XML file for the project as it appears in the overview of creating DVDs very well. The problem may lie in the encoding settings used by DVD Maker to burn media physically.

  Someone saw values that I need to change and where for this project to work?

• Built-in BD and video player on the Internet

  I recently got a KDL-32EX40B TV with BD and video Internet player. Although slow to start using N of Sony wireless adapter, it seemed to work OK once I've manually updated the firmware to version PKG4.081AAB (NetFlix wouldn't work at all before this update, and the feature of automatic update in the game told me that the 3 something version was later if no update was necessary).

  In fact, it worked OK until it didn't. Would come and bring some TV station was tuned to the TV, but when you press 'Home' or 'Internet Video', he would just stand there until a message informed me that he was turned on. Later another message saying that it has detected a USB wireless device. Then after awhile, I could press 'Home' or 'Internet Video' and he would take me to the home screen where finally the icons would appear. Pressing NetFlix slowly take me to NetFlix where I could choose something. When the show came (after the 'Connection', 'Control link speed,' messages 'Connection' and 'Reconnect'), the information bar on the top and on the bottom of the screen progress bar would not go far and after about 10 seconds the TV turns off and everything started again. 10 minutes full ten seconds of NetFlix.

  By trial and error, I discovered that this has happened when my wife left a DVD in the player integrated comics. Remove the DVD and restart the TV appears to work correctly. It was only yesterday, so let's see what's happening today or the next few days.

  It is a programming problem in the firmware for sure. It is also something that should be documented if necessary being the culprit. If you discover in your labs that you can reproduce this problem, it might be interesting to note something on the routers in your FAQ. If you can't reproduce, then clearly it's black magic and I need to spend more time learning the secret incantations.

  With respect to the update of the firmware, it has been updated automatically, and he did as soon as I'm the wireless enabled in TV. But he upgraded to an older version that you have available for download. He had been in place for several days until I've manually updated, so it wasn't like I had not given the time. I also made sure the TV to search for updates before I flashed to via the key USB and TV told me I had the latest version already installed but it was clearly not the strength.
