  • Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process. When you attempt to start the Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol

I try to use my verizon air card, a PC770; VZ Access Manager version 7.2.7.1 recognizes the card very well, but whenever I try to "connect WWAN" I get the following message - "failed to connect - connection not available." Through the verizon forums, I trace this error to the 'Remote Access Connection eating' service that is not started. I try to start this service and receive error 1068: the dependency service or group could start. I have check the Dependencies tab and see Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol. When I go to this service, I see that it is not started, try to start this service result in error in my, title = error 1079.

I saw many others issues related to the error code 1079, but nothing that she wears on the SSTP service.

How can I fix it or what additional information is required to help diagnose?  Regards, Paul

Dude... May want to lay off the crack for a while before this extreme paranoia Gets the best of you...

    To the OP:

Just go to the properties of the service you are trying to start, then select "this account".  Browse your computer and find the "Local Service" account  Clear the password so that it is empty and apply.  You will get a dialog box indicating that the account has been given to the connection as a good service.  Then start your service.  This should solve your problem.  I have seen this question many times and there are many, many reasons why it could have happened, but there is nothing to worry.

  • The inventory service could not start

    Hello

We have improved vCenter Servcer 5.x to 6.0, which worked very well.

As we put it at level ESXi also we close vCenter [a Vm] and brought back, our single sign on Windows domain was also corrupted.

Now the field is back and vCenter VM, however vCenter Server Service does not essentially depends on Service of the inventory that fails to start.

On the web console, I get the error "503 Service unavailable (unable to connect to the endpoint: [class Vmacore::Http:NamedPipeServiceSpec:0000000001D6D190] = _serverNamespace / _isRedirect = false _pipeName = \\.\pipe\vmware-vpxd-webserver-pipe).

All discussions I found see SSO re-registration due to changes in the AD, but they use 5.5 x command that I couldn't find in 6.0.

There is no SINGLE authentication service in 6.0 too and location of the log files is changed.

What is the location of the new log file associated with the service of inventory and how to fix this SSO with service Invertory question.

    Thank you

    Hello

If your vCenter server is on windows, then the inventory service log location is C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\logs\invsvc.

You can check vpxd or vsphere_client_virgo.log for details of the failure. You can share the beam of support for more details?

  • Hello services did not start, check the sufficient privileges to start system services

I have a Dell desktop computer - over 6 years running windows xp. I've been using itunes for several years, update without problem until a couple of months ago when I got this error "Hello services could not start, check the sufficient privileges to start system services. I tried to delete everything from itunes etc following the instructions from apple forum - but still get the error. I tried to restart Hello in the service of my computer menu - but now it doesn't show even Hello - I have tried to load Hello - same error... help - I don't want no Hello == I just need the latest version of itunes - now I have nothing. !

Hello the long beach of dl,

You need not run Hello service to have iTunes on your computer.

You can look in the event viewer and see if there are errors on iTunes or the Hello Service.
By default, the Hello service is started and the startup type is set to automatic.
The path to the executable file is: C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe. You can search and find this file?

I find a 3rd party software removal tool and then have it remove all traces of iTunes, including the Bonjour service.
Use the control panel to uninstall iTunes and software components in the following order:

    1. iTunes
    2. QuickTime
    3. Apple Software Update
    4. Apple Mobile Device Support
    5. Hello
    6. Application of Apple Support (iTunes 9 or later)

Download the latest version of iTunes for Windows, and then try to install again.

    I hope this helps.

I went to the Configuration System (msconfig)-> services-> active tab all services and restart. After that my computer works normally.
