Security concerns about the external power supply connected to the my map of 9401 TTL inputs

I have an external power supply (5V DC, 500 my) that I use to test my card 9401 count entries and check my LV code is working properly. Power + 5V is used as high signal and ground as a weak signal.  I haven't done the link yet because I wanted to know if there is any concern to burn my card.

Hello

Normally, if everything is OK, it shouldn't be a problem.

But in the real world "things" happen

My Advisor is to add resistance series (in this case 1 k) to protect your device if Murphy enters the room something goes wrong.

  • P0.0 6516-setting PCI to high causes the voltage drop across the external power supply

    Hello

I use a PCI 6516 for 24V output. I have my power supply connected to pin 5 positive cable and the negative to pin 19. When I put the port 0, line 0 (P0.0) high heat, I have a voltage drop on the power supply to about 1.9V. There is no other son so there is no short circuit anywhere. The rest of the lines work very well when I put them on high. The automatic test works very well, and I tried to reset the unit several times. Could there be potential damage to this specific port? All the solutions to this problem, or anything that may have caused this behavior?

  • Connection RPS720 redundant external power supply for DELL 5548

    Hello
We have two DELL 5548 network switches.
According to the manual of the switch, we can buy the RPS720 external redundant power supply connection to DELL 5548 current to reach the power supply redundant network switches.

My question is how to connect this external RPS720 of redundant power to the existing DELL going on?

I only buy the external RPS720 of redundant power, including the power cable connect to switch existing or I need to buy any item to achieve?

I try to search on the internet but it is altogether less information regarding on this.

According to the QuickStart guide, all cables are included. Page 4 ftp.dell.com/.../powerconnect-5524_Setup%20Guide2_en-us.pdf

  • How to use the external power supply on Camileo s20

How the external power is connected to S20 and registration is possible at the same time. When the USB is plugged into my camera it will not turn on.

    1. open the battery cover
    2. remove the battery
3 connect the usb power cable

Now you can use S20 with external power without draining the battery.

    Crazy but true...

  • No internet with an external power supply on L20

Can connect to internet when my L20 runs own PSU, but when the battery level is low and demand for external power, internet connection is lost when my power adaptor attatched. In addition, internet does not connect if the external power supply is used from the outset. Disconnect the external power supply and run on battery, the internet connection can now take place! All thoughts.

Try to check the polarity of the DC power coming out of the AC adapter is correct. In fact, make sure you have any dc voltage coming out of the adapter.

I don't really understand what you describe. Do you really mean that ONLY the internet connection is affected. Everything works well on outlet. The power lights and disc are all about; the battery OK charges; the screen is lit; the fan is running and that these things will continue to work if you then removed the battery? (Except for the battery charge of course).

  • HP 8200 elite CMT: can I use an external power supply for AMD Radeon HD graphics card 7770?

I have HP 8200 elite CMT CPU in which 320 watts PSU is installed. I want to use AMD Radeon HD 7770 requiring more power (minimum 400 watts power supply) for maximum performance. But the fact is, the higher Watt PSU is not available for my cpu because its cables do not match that. So I ask if I can use the external power supply to power my GPU instead of the CPU power. Will be this harm to my PC?

Kindly help me to solve this problem.

Thank you for the information, @haseebkhan7310.

    Hello

Just got my Helix and I have some published, one of the biggest problem so far is that it will only fuel upward and stay on with external power supply, when I dock this works very well, if I disconnect it it stops, if I plug the power supply into the Tablet light it up, but as soon as I remove the power cord it will turn off I checked and the batteries are charged, any advice at 100%?

    Thank you

Thanks for the reply, I called Lenovo technical support and they thought it was the motherboard, technology has changed and he made similarly he suspected a defective battery, it replaces and it works fine now, so it was a defective battery on the Tablet, was not getting charged, Lenovo technical support was great, fast and very apologetic the laptop so far, thank you for all the help that love.

  • External Power Supply PHD 2.5 x camera

    Hello

Does anybody know, if there is a power supply available for version 2.5 external x camera?

and perhaps also the order number?

The customer got offered with PSU-CAM-V, but I guess that's one for the 4 x and 12 x PHD Cams...

    Best regards, hans

    Hi Hans.

See is one the PrecisionHDMC camera User Guide on pg 9, 2.5 x camera has a power connector as well as the 4 x and 12 x cameras of.  It does not say that the power connector is for future use, so it doesn't seem like it supports an external power supply at the moment.

  • Satellite L755-M1CU restarts as soon as the power supply connected

I have an old L755 of 3 years.
4 months, one day, the laptop just completely turns off and restarts as if nothing had happened.

I was puzzled, but I thought that I must have accidentally hit a button that caused his restart.
As the days have begun to spend to buy, the number of reboots has started up.

At first it would occur once a week, then twice, until 2 months ago, when it started to happen almost every 5 or 6 hours, I used the computer. Initially, I thought that this was due to the death of laptop battery.

So I got rid of it and started using it only on the sector without the battery shows but found that it was not feasible since there are frequent power outages in my area.

Then I go back to work on the laptop with a trendy new inserted battery and ac, but the frequency of reboots continued until it was happening every 15 minutes.

So I tried to boot into safe mode and everything works absolutely fine. Zero restart little matter how many time I use it. Since last week, I can no longer turn on windows normally with the power source is connected. Windows works fine if I'm on battery only.

Even when windows is running on battery, as soon as I plug in the charger, the phone restarts. What could be the reason?

I did some research online and found that some models of satellite have a defective capacitor installed called the NEC/Catherine causing similar problems.

    Thanks in advance guys.
    All reviews are much appreciated

These issues are still problematic, and they should be considered. For me, this looks like electronic power supply.
It could be that electronic power make certain thresholds for some reason any.
To be honest, I can't imagine that you can do something. All you can do is check the usual stuff like RAM, HARD or OS disc, but it will not help you issue described.

If everything works OK with battery power, it would be interesting to test it with the new adapter.
It's really not easy to say what the problem is here.

Try to contact Toshiba service nearest, to explain the situation and ask for help.

  • Satellite A200 - will not start with power supply connected

My lapop is 2 years old. Whist trying to boot it restarts at least 2 times and I am running Windows 7.

My old battery lasts about 20 minutes so I bought a new and the first time that I loaded up it gave me an hour of a time value of battery, but on the second cooldown it has provided for 20 minutes.

It does not always to the top while the power is connected do you think that my motherboard is defective =.

    Hello

Normally, if you connect the laptop AC adapter shouldn't t stop. Everything should work correctly as the system even starts the battery would be defective.

So, I think you already wrote that the motherboard is faulty. In this case I recommend to contact an authorized service provider. Technicians can order a new mainboard and Exchange! :)

  • Qosmio X 500 stop during the game - but only on the external power supply!

    Hello.

Since I updated my BIOS to 2.9 I had this HUGE problem. And now, I created a user here, in the hope of my colleagues advice owners of Toshiba.

Let me cut it, as it's enough for me confused.

I bought the computer in March 2010 - is still under warranty.
I updated the BIOS from 2.8 to 2.9. I always kept my computer up to date with the latest drivers Toshiba - and is still.
But now, after update BIOS, all of a sudden, my computer shuts down, rotates instantly, as if someone pulled the cord and there is no battery attached.
But it happens that whenever I start a GPU really requiring program/application. It is not happed when I use the computer for all the days of the things or watch movies etc.

I put it well 3DVantage and of course, it crashed.

    BUT!

If I pull the rope and let it run on battery - even if the performance that comes out is less - it does not crash, never, in any game that would break if I had the string attached.

I was in touch with Toshiba service in Scandinavia - I live here and they couldn't tell me what was the problem, but they were pretty sure that it was not related to the BIOS, because while I was talking to them, I installed 2.8, and it's the same thing.

It has been sprayed, treated and some more with compressed air, and if there is no dust left, it would be like concrete. I ran the game in windowed mode, while having Speedfan running, the temperature will never be greater than 65 degrees Celsius. So it isn't heat related.
I used 3DVantage to test the CPU and see if that too would break, once again nothing.

I think the long terms of workload. The GPU goes off when the workload exceeds a certain percentage/voltage/whatever and something in the BIOS which controls it, changed or left unchanged and there for is not skilled with the rest of the updates to the BIOS.
Or maybe the problem is not BIOS related? is it something else? I'm really confused and the fact that I can use it for simple tasks, only confuses me even more - so this is only a part of the graphics card which is damaged?

Even if it is under warranty, wait 10 days (if I'm really, really lucky, like place I bought it, is not exactly known for good service condition) is the last option.

This explanation is rather long, but I'm not not short versions, and if you feel like I left something, say so, and I'll do my best to provide you with information.

    Thanks in advance!
    Nikolaj.

    > Speedfan shows also a tab called Temp1 - ACPI... It may be offtopic, but what is?
When I order the windows event log, it shows some errors about ACPI: (translated by myself from Danish)

Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) specification is an open standard and defines independent interfaces for hardware discovery, configuration, power management and monitoring.

66 temperature is not too high so I n t think that automatic shutdown of the bottom are related to temperature.

I have your case, I recommend reinstalling the OS window once more; install the operating system preinstalled Toshiba using the recovery disk.
Then check the features of the laptop. I mean that you should not install any other software before checking the laptop. In many cases 3rd party software could lead to problems of different laptop then you should check the laptop using factory settings.
