See a hypervisor system in MAX

Hello

I have a hypervisor system put in place and I can see the partition of RT in MAX on the Windows of the system partition.

I don't see it max on another machine on the same network, so my question is if I should be able to?

Kind regards

Sarah

You can navigate to system RT on the side via FTP using Windows Explorer and then download the rtexe in the rt/startup folder which should start this exe on a reboot of the system.

Kind regards

  • see not all systems in the dashboard

    Hello

I'm new with the capacityplanner one I test it.

After two weeks, I see some systems in the dashboard.

Under the point "systems troubleshooting," I see the missing systems, the status of these systems are 'successful' but nothing happens when I include systems.

No matter, what OS, Win7 or XP, I see that some win 7 PCs and some Win XP PC, but others not.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Ansgar

You see the systems when you open the tab 'Select systems' for your project in "Administration"-> "my projects"? From there, you can select the systems you want to include in the project.

  • System locked max volume

2012 mini quad core i7 16gs of ram running El Capitan. Suddenly the system volume is locked on max, completely insensitive. Anyone got any ideas?

Back up all data before proceeding.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Please triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select:

    sudo sh -c ' mkdir -m775 /L*/Preferences/Audio; chgrp -R 202 $_; chown 202 $_/* ' 2>&-

Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

Launch the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Paste in the Terminal window by pressing the command-V key combination. I tested these instructions only with the Safari browser. If you use another browser, you may need to press the return key after pasting.

You will be asked for your login password. Nothing displayed when you type. Type carefully, and then press return. If you do not have a password, you will need to configure one before you can run the command. You can get a warning to be careful. Confirm. You don't need to display the warning.

If you see a message that your user name "is not in the sudoers file", then you have not logged as an administrator. Log in as one and start over.

Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered. You can then quit Terminal. Test.

  • How to find systems remote Max

How does MAX find remote systems?

I wrote a UDP chriper as a way to solve this problem in the past, however, it seems that NEITHER has already solved this problem and I prefer to use what comes in the box.

Existing APIs or documentation would be great.

  • Can't see two cameras PointGrey (FlyCap2) max

Hello everyone.  I have two cameras PointGrey Chameleon I try to access it via the USB port.

    IMAQdx Version 3.9.1

    Point Grey FlyCap2 V 2.3.3.23

I can get both cameras to execute and return the images to the ActiveX control when I use the ActiveX Interface of PointGrey.  I still have to be able to successfully remove the data from the camera so that I can run LabVIEW vision standard analysis on them. (What I do if I don't want to rewrite my entire application)

Thus, 1 approach would be for someone who was able to get the data of the image of the ActiveX Interface, please let me know how you did.  I I _am_ able to get a pointer to the data (but then don't know what to do with it), but I'm NOT able to get the data in a table with the GetImageData function.  When calling this function, LV falls in catastrophic failure.

Neige2 would get IMAQdx to recognize the two cameras, which currently I can't do.  MAX only recognizes one of the cameras on the PC.  I think it has to do with the pilot PointGrey DirectShow records do not cameras on the OS, but I can't find a definitive answer for this on the forums.

Someone has put experience MAX (and then LV) to recognize two cameras USB Chameleon PointGrey OR type in converting the image pointer that the API Activex PintGrey returns in a LV Image?

    Thank you

    Wes

OK, the Grey top drivers do not support USB (Directshow) two cameras on a machine at present.

In addition, there is no easy way to "mount" the image dll PointGrey pointer to an image type of IMAQdx for use in line with the code of vision of NOR.

My response seems to be to use a second camera by another manufacturer.

Just thought I'd post this here so that you are all aware of what I found.

  • How to see what email system I?

I connect to Hotmail to get my email.  But I don't know what 'system' email I really.  There is a sidebar, a word about 'do you want to upgrade to Outlook.  So I do not have Outlook?  My PC uses Windows XP.  The company that hosts my site gives me the opportunity to have an e-mail address, but their form asking if it should be put in place to "Outlook Express" or "Outlook 2000"or "Outlook 2003".  I don't know that I have, or how to find out.  Thank you.

If you have Windows XP, you have two choices for now:

    1. use the Outlook Express e-mail program (which is part of Windows XP)
    2. do NOT use an e-mail program. If you choose this option, you must go to the web page to display (but not download) your e-mail, without doubt:

    http://mail.live.com

    (I recommend you do this.)
There is no email 'system' in itself.  :-)
  • My restores system use max keeps failing no matter how many times I change it.

This has only started to happen lately after I noticed that something takes a lot of space. I usually keep the max use fixed at 2% (18.36 GB) but for some reason randomly resets to 50%.

I scanned my computer and nothing appears, I don't know what is the cause... any help?

    Hello

Thanks for the reply. I understand that the previous suggestions do not fix the issue.

Check the hard disk for errors.

    • Click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator.
    • At the command prompt, type the following command:

    Chkdsk volume: / f/r

Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

Also perform a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

    Refer to this link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    I hope this helps.

  • None of the remote systems are found in Max in VMware

I started using virtual machines and I don't see any remote systems listed in MAX within the virtual machine, but I see the remote system on my real machine. It is not a big problem because I can always run my code and connect to the target of RT of the project within the virtual machine, but when I need to look at MAX it would be nice to not switch back between my VM and the computer. I wonder that if it is behavior, others have noticed, or is - it possible my MAX database is corrupted? The section of the entire remote systems doesn't fail, just no hardware found and listed under it when I update. I wonder if this is a problem with how the virtual machine sets up the connection TCP must work with the real hardware. Hoping that someone more competent than me in this relm can point me in the right direction.

You have probably done this, but you made sure that your VM is set to a "Bridged" mode where the network connection between the virtual machine and the host allows him to get an address from an external DHCP server and is not only local host machine?  MAX can only auto-detect devices to its subnet via a proprietary (OR-RFP) protocol or via AppleTalk (according to how the devices are configured and what software is on them), and if the interface of the virtual machine network is in mode "NAT" or "Host-Only mode" which interferes or completely blocks the discovery method.

  • MAX does not see the cRIO modules!

    Hello

I have a cRIO-9073 and C 3 (9401, 9239, 9263) modules installed in slots 1-3 respectivly. I can configure the chassis correctly upon arrival 2 months ago and I managed to acquire by a module 9234. Now that the 3 mentioned c modules arrived I installed and have a problem - MAX of nothingness, or analysis of LabVIEW RT engine cannot see modules. Attached are MAX.png and DiscoveryStatus.png that depict. NOR-RIO is version 4.00 and corresponding set is completely downloaded to the cRIO. I do not understand the concept of software cRIO yet but I'm positive, that is the same as used to work the first time that I had tried. The network is OK - host is 100.0.0.1, cRIO is 100.0.0.100 and they see.

I susspected that perhaps specific drivers are needed for these particular C failet, but I can't verify that the status of software.

Basic details to accept and understand the CompactRIO concept is spread across many different documents, and it's really hard for the newbees to grasp, so debug/fix situations.

Does anyone have an idea what is causing my problem?

    Thanks in advance,

I want to know that I released a vi using web publishing tool then is possible to see on a system where we have no install LabVIEW. or if it is possible then how and what are the limits?

For each computer that has not installed LabVIEW, you must download and install the free LabVIEW runtime engine that matches the version of LabVIEW of VI.

Here is the link to the runtime LabVIEW 8.6.

What version of LabVIEW you have?

    Hey Bjarne,

You can try to remove the installation of IVI Compliance of add/remove programs.

    Reset.

Then download DAQmx8.8: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1085/lang/en and install it (doing so you're upgrading MAX aswell).

    Reset.

Install new IVI Compliance Package 3.3.

  • Is there possible to see which are the background running processes in the system which is having Windows XP as operating system?

Is there possible to see which are the background running processes in the system which is having Windows XP as operating system?

There is no resource manager (or resource monitor) in the XP Task Manager.

Please read these notes I send to the people who are (sometimes) concerned about the svchost.exe process number they see on their system or when it looks like one of their svchost.exe process has run amok.  We can not all apply to your situation, but I don't want to type in a bunch of stuff once again.  Then get Process Explorer and you will be able to be Omniscient:

To help understand your processes svchost.exe and what is running under them, read this article and you will be smarter than the average bear:
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial129.html

You may be able to get clues with what is happening with your svchost.exe process using the Task Manager and maybe understand.

You will always be able to understand what is happening with your svchost.exe process if you use Process Explorer.

Download Process Explorer, so you can see what is 'really' running on your system, especially behind those svchosts several process see you in the running task manager.

    Download Process Explorer from here:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/Sysinternals/bb896653.aspx

You'll like Process Explorer when you get the hang of it.  Process Explorer is the Manager of Windows taskbar on steroids.

Process Explorer installs nothing so it won't slow down your system since it works only on request.

Process Explorer can seem a little intimidating at first because it has so much information, but you will begin to make love the way it works when you're looking for performance problems.   You can even say EP you want it to be your new default 'Task Manager' value in the future.  You can always run the original tasks as Manager.

Once you get Process Explorer running, expand the columns, made drag the corners of the screen for it's largest, etc., so you can see as much information as possible in the window.  Now you can really see what is running on the system.

Here's a screenshot of my poor system when I use Process Explorer:

    http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/2567/ProcessExplorer.PNG

The CPU column is usually the most interesting start with performance issues - which uses the most?

It is OK and normal to have several svchost exe processes running.  Important XP Services are actually running under svchost.exe processes. There are sometimes an XP Service that runs under a svchost.exe process, sometimes there are several Services in XP, which runs under a svchost.exe process.

Sometimes malware will hide behind a svchost.exe process because the malware knows that you won't be able to find it in the Task Manager.  He will hide behind a svchost.exe process to deceive you, but you can outsmart it.

Malicious software can disguise itself also seems to be a legitimate process of XP or he could hide under/behind other processes that you see running in Task Manager if you can't see the execution.

The malware would trick you into thinking you must use a System Restore Point, run a repair install or reinstall your XP from scratch when you really don't.

Looking at the display in process Explorer, you want the CPU most to be associated with the system idle process.  It's 'free time' on your system, so more time there, more free.

If you look at the graphs of performance and see red spikes (or not) double click the graphic in the upper left corner to display the graph to use.  Move the mouse over any pics to see what are the causes.  Even if the Spike has already scroll screen, you can still move the mouse over the edge to see what caused.  You can also just wait for a pic to happen and then see what caused the Spike.

I just want to know if there is no solution to see System.out.println.

I use neither Eclipse nor BlackBerry JDE for my development.

I have my jar, jad files. I convert my jar file using the CAP tool. The .cod files are generated.

    Thanks for your help.

    I try your solution EventLogger.

    But I have another problem:
