Select a field based on the value

I have a table where VAL_DATE can have a value or is empty.

What I need is:

When it is not empty, it must use VAL_DATE

the selection must be
select INV_ID,VAL_DATE,AMOUNT FROM INVOICE:
When VAL_DATE is empty, it must use INV_DATE
SELECT INV_ID,INV_DATE,AMOUNT FROM INVOICE;
here some examples:
create table INVOICE
(INV_ID NUMBER(5)
,INV_DATE DATE
,VAL_DATE DATE
,AMOUNT NUMBER(5));

INSERT
INTO INVOICE
  (
    INV_ID,
    INV_DATE,
    VAL_DATE,
    AMOUNT
  )
  VALUES
  (
    1,
    SYSDATE,
    NULL,
    100
  );
INSERT
INTO INVOICE
  (
    INV_ID,
    INV_DATE,
    VAL_DATE,
    AMOUNT
  )
  VALUES
  (
    2,
    SYSDATE,
   SYSDATE,
    200
  );

Kind regards

  • Calculate the value of the field based on the value of the user input field

    Hi all

    We use a BPM 11.1.1.5.0 with feature pack. We have BPM form which has five fields all the text in the input field. The user will enter any amount in these fields. We have another field in the form that displays the sum of the field all five. This should add the input value dynamically when the user navigates out of a field.

    I'm not able to think how I can achieve this. It is valuechangelistener I need code. Should I use a java code to get the value of the entry field and make the calculation in the java code and then assign it to the output field? or is there an option/BPM feature that allows to avoid java coding.

    Thanks in advance

    Sachin Gupta

    Add this as an idea because you asked how this could be done without Java code.

    If all five digital and no other item reference fields cannot be empty or null, you can:

    (1) for each of the 5 numeric fields, expand the section "Behavior" property and set their properties Autosubmit true. As you look at each of the 5 areas, note the text in each of their property 'Id '.

    (2) for the numeric field (I'll call it the "SumValue" field), you added that you want to add the other fields, expand the "behavior" property section-> click the arrow to the right of the property 'PartialTriggers'-> in the transfer dialog box that comes up, select each of the 5 areas (those you find the ID of the first step) and their shuttle above the selected list-> click OK-> look at your PartialTriggers for the field of SumValue property - it should now display the ID 5 with spaces between them.

    (3) open each of the 5 areas and copy the text in each of their properties 'Value' (e.g. #{bindings.) Salary1.inputValue}) and paste this text for each of the 5 text fields in your text editor in a text-> if editor is

    #{bindings.Salary1.inputValue} #{bindings.Salary2.inputValue} #{bindings.Salary3.inputValue} #{bindings.Salary4.inputValue} #{bindings.Salary5.inputValue}

    to take

    #{bindings.Salary1.inputValue+bindings.Salary2.inputValue+bindings.Salary3.inputValue+bindings.Salary4.inputValue+bindings.Salary5.inputValue}

    (4) select the field 'SumValue'-> again in the property Panel, delete the text in the field 'Value'-> paste the text you created in your text editor in the 'Value' property of the field SumValue.

  • It is possible to compare the contact fields based on the value of data updated?

    Hi all -

    I would like to run a filter and compare my contact fields if the value in a field has been updated or changed.

    for example if the data in the "first name" value changes to be empty to have a value, which would respect the requirement.  Also if "phone number" 123-456-7890 to 999-000-0000 that would also meet the requirement.

    Did anyone done this before?  Any ideas of how to implement?

    Any contribution is appreciated.  Thank you!

    If that's what you're talking about, there is no trace of audit in Eloqua.

    It will be great if Oracle can verify the critical fields.

    The solution is to create to the top of the field in another area, so when it changes, you can compare the values.

    Good luck

  • How to hide a field based on the value of a field of a different subform - controls null does not work!

    I use Javascript to define actions. I need to hide a text field, if the value of a field in another subsidiary form is zero.

    -J' tried to check the value in the other field NULL - does not work

    -J' tried affecting a variable str2 where I know that the value in the other field is available, then checking this variable when I initialize the text field - does not work

    What Miss me?

    Hello.

    Try this in the form of native void, referring to the text field (X).

    If (this.rawValue = 1)

    {

    X.Presence = "visible";

    }

    ElseIf (this.rawValue = null)

    {

    X.Presence = 'hidden ';

    }

  • How to enable / disable certain fields based on the value of the checkbox

    This is probably a stupid question, but I was not able to find the trivial solution (I'm fairly new to the user's BlackBerry interface)

    Example scenario:

    Screen of the user interface with two components

    box: "Run daily.

    time field: ' to hh: mm ".

    If the check box is enabled, the hour field must be activated. If the check box is not selected, the time field should be disabled.

    I wasn't able to find a simple solution. The solution is to remove all components and re-create it with different style (Field.NON_FOCUSABLE |) Field.READONLY), but there are significant drawbacks:

    1. It's pretty messy keep the current value (if the user has modified the time field and click twice on the box, I would like to have the same value and the field must be dirty)
    2. She becomes more messy when you have more complicated logic (panels inside panels that should be enabled / disabled based on all parent checkboxes)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    The way I handled it was to the custom methods in areas that allow me to set the disabled and then state substitute TouchEvent, NavigationMovement and NavigationClick methods to search for this variable and simply return true if it is defined. This will take care of the FieldChanged States and targeted to make them unable to be activated.

  • How can I display more fields based on the value of another field in conjunction with the visibility of the others?

    I have 17 text fields 'questions' and have hidden buttons for each I would appear once the administrator puts in a "password" at the bottom of the page.

    For the "password", I created a text field to enter this password and a "Log In" button.

    I want to be able to do is for the user to put in the 'password' and the 'Log In' button contains the script necessary to display these fields. 17 text fields show only one at a time, so I want the action of the 'Log In' button to show only the hidden buttons corresponding to the current visible areas.

    Here is my code. What happens is little matter what I do, it says the password is incorrect and mask "publient1" which has never been specified in the code in a variable.

    Initially, I had the first "else if" statement as the first "If" statement, but the results are the same in any event.

    These lines in your code does not make sense (and the rest of the code is dependent on them):

    iv1 var = issue1.display = display.visible;

    I think what you mean probably to do is the following:

    iv1 var = (issue1.display == display.visible);

    This sentence of yours shows a lack of understanding of the JS operators:

    I also tried several operators equal sign for password.value, including a single equal sign, through three equal signs.

    You should do some research and find out what the differences are between '=', 'is' and ' ='. '. They are essential to your code.

  • hide fields based on the value

    I have a script that I use to hide and show some areas according to what is entered in a certain area. The script looks like this:

    T1 var = this.getField ("text1");
    var t2 = this.getField ("text2");

    T1. Hidden = true;
    T2. Hidden = true;

    If (event.value > = "501")
    {
    event.willCommit = true;
    {
    T1. Hidden = false;
    }
    }
    If (event.value < = "500")
    {
    event.willCommit = true;
    {
    T2. Hidden = false;
    }
    }

    The problem I have is that he is seeking only the first 3 digits which is put on the ground. So, if I type in "3000", it reads like 300 and text1 appears instead of Text2. If I put in "6000", it shows the right field because it is read only 600. Is there another way I can write the script to make it work properly? Thank you in advance for your help!

    3 problems:

    1. the willCommit property is read-only. You can assign a value to it. You must remove these statements.

    2. you have inserted the numbers inside quotes, which turns them into channels and you cannot use them in mathematical comparisons. Remove the quotes and it should work.

    3. do not use the hidden property, it is not recommended. Use the display property.

  • Creating an external link in a field based on the value of another field

    Have 2 fields in a table: CR_Number and CR_Link (two varchar2s). If a CR_Number is filled in the data form, the CR_Link will be filled with a link to an enterprise application manager to open this application from Apex.

    This is my original formula of SharePoint: = IF ([VC #] = "","","< a href =" http://intranet.att.com/oneattcr/crsummary.cfm?crid= "& [CR_Number] &" "target = '_blank' >" & [CR_Number] & "< /a >" "). I tried to reflect the HTML but does not work. It's my current to DECODE syntax:

    DECODE (CR_NUMBER, NULL, Null,'|) CR_NUMBER:')

    Where I'm going wrong? Appreciate any help. Thank you!

    Not connected to the test currently but should be something like;

    DECODE(CR_NUMBER,NULL,Null,''||CR_NUMBER||'')

  • How to render components based on the value selected in a list of values

    Hello
    I created a form of the ADF. I have a drop down that is a list of values. I want to toggle certain fields based on the values selected in the menu drop-down. Could you please let me know how to do it in the ADF?

    Kind regards
    Murielle

    Hello

    It should work. It is important to note that in case you use a component selectOneChoice for category then the value returned by #{bindings. Category.inputValue}
    is the index of the selected value in the list and not the value auto. To get the value, you must use ' #{bindings. " Category.attributeValue}"in the disabled state.

    If the problem is no display of code in your page to take a look.

    Gabriel.

  • Name of the dynamic property of object in the table based on the value of a variable

    I have two paintings of custom class objects

    var obj1:Object1
    var obj2:Object2

    var array1:Array = [obj1[0], obj1[1], ...]
    var array2:Array = [obj2[0], obj2[1], ...]

    Object1 has a property named. Name while Object2 has a property named. Title.

    Now I have a common function including cab accepts an array (array1 or array2) and the name of property the object ("Name" or "Title") as input and needs to access this name of the property of the objects in the array:

    function myFunction(arr:Array, fieldName:String)
    {
        arr[0].fieldName  = "xxx";
    }

    the problem I have this achievement does not because the code in the function assumes that the property of that object in the table is actually a string "fieldName" while I want to dynamically determine the names of the fields based on the value of this variable, but cannot understand the syntax to do!

    Don't know if I'm clear - hope that makes sense... ;-) Thank you

    Hey p3pp3r,

    I think I understood you. Try the following and see if you get good results:

    function myFunction(arr:Array, fieldName:String)
    {
        arr[0][fieldName]  = "xxx";
    }

    Let me know how it turns out. Good luck!

  • Auto-fill text box values field based on the selection of the menu drop-down

    Try to fill in address, city, province, zip from text fields based on the selected option in a select form field. The following code works fine in Internet Explorer, but in Chrome or Firefox, after selection, text, the fields are filled with the word "undefined."

    I found a PHP script Jquery here version that would probabably do the trick.

    In your last code done selectAddress refers to "index" but I'm not declared or assigned. I think that you are missing 'var index = list.selectedIndex;' statement.

  • Fill in fields on a form based on the value of a list? (Dreamweaver CS5)

    Yet once, it has been a while since I've done any work in Dreamweaver. I have two sets of records, rs1 and rs2. Fill a selection area with a dynamic field, rs1. Based on the value of the selection in the list box and use it as a primary key and a database .mdb I want to fill that second record, rs2 and respective fill some additional fields with its dynamic links.

    Assuming that everyone can understand what I so badly stated, with a having a few ideas or, better yet, a few examples?

    Thank you!

    I agree with Nancy that using Access is a bad choice, to answer your question, it seems you want to create a montage cascading down. Dreamweaver is not integrated to manage cascading dropdown lists. You code yourself.

    There are two approaches for cascading drop-down lists:

    • Use Ajax to present a second query to the database when the first drop-down list is selected.
    • Store the values of the dependent drop-down list in a table, and use JavaScript to fill in the options in the first drop-down list is selected.

    This page of examples of cascading dropdowns: example of DropDownList in waterfall | Kendo UI Dropdownlist demo. A Google search for the cascading drop down list will produce other results.

  • A drop-down list can do the calculation based on the value selected in a drop down list?

    Form Acrobat X Pro Adobe

    Can I have a drop down list create a calculation based on the value selected in the menu drop-down?

    We have a set lunch and want the user to choose to be "A lunch', 'Lunch B'"C Lunch"or"just the milk. "

    It is for each of the 5 days of the week. There are therefore 5 drop downs, which have all the same 4 above choice.

    If the user chooses among the 3 lunches and then put $2.00 in the total box at the end of the line. If 'Just the milk' may put 0.50 in the box.

    The total area at the end of the line must keep a record of all 5 days and give a total.

    So if someone chooses lunch A LUN, sea and Sun and just milk for Tuesday and Thursday and then the total for this week must be $7,00

    Is it possible by using code or something?

    I did it in Excel, but we need it is an Adobe pdf file.

    OK the total box has a 10 all the time to make it look like $ 2.00 for
