  OK, here goes... my understanding is that you remove the update of microsoft KB2533623

  To remove this update of Windows KB2533623, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on "start > Control Panel > programs and features.
  2. Click on the link "View installed updates" on the left side of the window.
  3. Locate the update ' update for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB2533623).
  4. Select the KB2533623 update and then click on the "Uninstall" button
  5. Once the update has been removed, restart the computer.

  It worked for me, BUT the charge is upgraded every time I restart so do not forget to turn off the automatic updates OR delete KB2533623 every time.

  Method 1:

  You can consult the following KB article and run the fix it tool available and check if you can assign file association.

  After running the fixit so check the option is grayed out or not.

  Method 2:

  If you're still having problems, then you can try to change the settings in the registry only if it is present on your computer and check if it helps.

  a. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

  b. navigate to the

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer

  (c) in the right side of the screen, double click on "NoFileAssociate".

  d. change the value of "NoFileAssociate" from 1 to 0.

  e. exit the registry editor and restart the computer and check.

  Important: The above mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

  It is one of the few limitations related to scheduler of the HRC. Another is that the computer running the client must be running and connected actively to the system tray (that is not a windows service)-based Scheduler app to trigger.

  My Advisor on this one is upgraded to the latest 9.0 version where you can spend the customer inherited from HRC for the new unified Intelligence Center (cuic) engine of reporting. It is a browser-based USER interface and brought over UCCE so now both products have the same reporting engine. As if by chance, you can name the calendar when you create with cuic:

  This is the first time that we play with the planning reports. We can schedule a report to base without problem, BUT when the report begins to call database packages it starts mistake. We found the package is called end but when it's a SQL query he does not know the scope of the table. BUT if I change the code to specify the owner of the table ' select * from hr.per_all_people_f' then it will run successfully."
  
  In discoverer we have it set up so that a generic user db (DISCO_SCHEDULE) is used when running scheduled reports. I searched metalink and we run scripts of Oracles about this user setting. At this point, we think of creating a group of synonyms for tables of this error, but thought that it had to be a better way.
  
  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? Their a configuration step we missed when setting up the user db DISCO_SCHEDULE?

  Hello

  Your problem is that you call the function hr_general.decode_person_name the DISCO_SCHEDULE user and like most HR packages, the package hr_general is defined with the current_user rights. Therefore, the package will use the privileges of the current user when the package is run.

  You can try to grant privileges to the tables to the DISCO_SCHEDULE user and creating the necessary synonyms, but you will struggle to get this working. HR packages refer to other packages and tables, and ensure that you have all the privileges that are put in place will be virtually impossible.

  Another approach is to create a view owned by APPS that makes calls to the hr_general package. You can also create a wrapper function which is owned by APPS and created with the copyright that calls the package hr_general. You can then call this package instead of using hr_general.

  Go to programs and features, select view installed updates. You should find an entry for Powershell. Select it and uninstall.

  About 1/3 of all my programs and games will blink twice every 3-4 seconds. All programs that sparkle have a bar with file, edit, like Notepad. It does nothing else, but it's pretty boring.   When I try to open a file *.img using 'open with... '. "I get a window of"Leader Type Helper"asking what software I want to use.  I have check "open this file using a software program (sic) that (sic) is already installed."  This very unnecessarily opens another dialog box titled 'open with' * Sub * the files already browser window fill the screen while I'm not yet aware that the box is here.  Having managed to find, I choose "7-Zip File Manager" and click on the box always saying "use the selected program to open this type of file", and then click OK.  This opens the file using the selected program, as you wish.

  However next time I try to open a *.img file, I again get the window "Help file of Type" and must go through the whole process again.  (By double-clicking on the file shows "Windows Disc Image Burner".)  Why don't Windows 'always use the selected program' like I asked?  Windows is aware that I have chosen before, because it is considered to be the only 'recommended program' in the 'Open with' dialog box  Thanks for any help!
