original title: battery problem
To all,
When I cut my computer on it comes up telling me that the battery cannot be detected or displayed.
I unplugged the battery taken power and put it back it, that did not work,
The battery is fully charged and when I check the battery in the control panel for the strength of the battery, the system is telling me, it is fully charged and there is nothing wrong with my battery.
Then I ask why I get this error when I start my computer.
Can anyone help me on how can I do to fix it.
Thank you

Hello
Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system

Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%

Problem solved by following these steps:
- Unplug the AC adapter / CC & remove the battery from the laptop
- Press the power button and hold for 60 seconds
- Plug the power adapter, put running the laptop and let windows start
- Leave it for 5 minutes then shut down windows
- When the laptop is turned off, insert the battery
- Turn the laptop computer, start Windows, and the battery indicator in the Windows taskbar should now display the battery level indication

Tecra 8200: flicker of brightness of the screen on the use of the battery
I have a Tecra 8200 running Windows 2000 Pro. The problem is with the brightness of the screen flashes intermittently, all a few minutes when it's on battery. The Toshiba power saver utility seems to work OK. his answer seems to depend on remaining battery life, that is to say less than 50% there is no difference between 'normal' and 'long life' with regard to the brightness of the screen.
Superior to 50% there is no difference between 'normal' and 'high power '. There is no problem at all when running on the current.Recently, I changed the battery; the original was a PA3062U-1 bar, but the news is a PA3062U-1BAT. Can that be a problem?
Hello
The new battery is the right specification for this model of computer Tecra laptop and on I think that the battery cannot be responsible for this.
If you try what Tom suggested it please let us know about the results.

Simple question. Out battery (if I don't use it) to not load on and can I remove 2 screws by myself without losing the warranty?

What model of laptop do you have exactly?
As far as I know laptop models support different layouts for laptop and in some cases the battery cannot be removed by use without affecting the warranty.

Most laptops have two power circuits separated when on AC, one to charge the battery and the other to run on the system board. It seems rather that the second circuit has failed, if the laptop power PIN is multi pole so it could be the power supply but it is rare.
Check the label of the PSU manufacturers, if he makes mention of both voltages or two nominal currents, it is perhaps interesting to try a different PSU.

When I turn on my laptop a battery warning message. I checked the battery meter that says the following "94% plugged in, does not support". The laptop is fine, so why should I get this message and what I would do to this topic?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheryl
It is always recommended to run regularly only on battery power. It will actually make the battery last longer to let it discharge once a month. Realistically, if your laptop is on a desktop and plugged all the time, it is better to just remove the battery and only use it when you need portability.

My computer is no longer warn me entry stop when the battery reaches the critical level. Officially, it shows a warning sign and told me to shot or recharge the battery when it gets to level criticism, but now he can't, but stop just when the battery has reached its critical level. Satellite T230-12 q - cannot load the battery
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite T230-12 q and have noticed that when the machine is on and running on the battery, and if I plug the power cord into the power adapter, the AC light on the laptop comes on but the charging light doesn't.
If I put into hibernation or shutdown, the charge indicator lights up and the battery. Back-light the machine will continue to charge the battery, but if I remove the power cord and plug it back, it will stop to load again until I shutdown/Hibernate implementation.
I think that my unit is maybe defective, can someone confirm? The bios was originally 1.00 then updated to 1.30, but the symptoms remain.
In my opinion, everything goes well with your knees. Click on the power icon in the taskbar to see if it's loaded:
