Select several files or photos.

How can I select several files or photos without cmd - click on each of them? I can not drag and select use the trackpad, and this issue seems to be too basic to answer with a Google search. (Macbook, OSX integrated trackpad from Apple 10.10.3,.) Am I missing something?

I am moving to Lightroom to Aperture, and I'm getting used to the different interface.

Thanks for your suggestions,

Hi Rankiniv

If they are in a consecutive order, you can click on the first, then SHIFT + click on the last one you want to select.

Kind regards

    Hello

    This a problem running.

    What happens is that when you select multiple files, you select one of the files and the mouse is moved, even slightly, when you release the mouse button, all the selected files will be copied to the same folder. You must be very careful not to move the mouse when you select files.

    Lost my operating system and have reloaded Windows 7. I have Office Professional. One of my email accounts, when I try to download attachments to e-mail, the FILE UPLOAD menu can't stand that select a single photo at a time. If I just open this folder, I can select several photos (CTL works and Select.) MOVE and select the works), but does not work when I am in the menu FILE UPLOAD. Can you help me?

  • to select several files in the dialog box open, but it is impossible, isn't it?

    Hi forum,

    File and folder objects have a openDlg() method. The first also has the multiSelect parameter, it is not.

    I wish I could have also for the folder so that I can ctrl/shift select several folders instead of picking up a folder and all its subfolders processing.

    Maybe I'm missing something obvious or there is a solution to such a dialogue box.

    Kind regards

    As suggested, an approach as possible:

    Folder.prototype.selectMultipleDialog = function (prompt,multiselect){
      var w = new Window('dialog','MultipleSelectDialog'),
      st,
      ls,
      btnGp,
        koBtn,
        okBtn,
        folderFilter = function(f){
            return (f instanceof Folder)
        },
        u,
        folders = this.getFiles(folderFilter),
        getFolderNames = function(foldersObjectArray){
            var n = foldersObjectArray.length,
            namesArray = [];
            while ( n--){
                namesArray[n] = decodeURI(foldersObjectArray[n].name);
            }
            return namesArray;
        },
        folderListItems = getFolderNames(folders),
        n = 0;

        st = w.add('statictext',u,prompt);
        ls = w.add('listbox',undefined, folderListItems, {multiselect:multiselect} );

        btnGp = w.add('group');

        koBtn = btnGp.add('button',u,'Cancel');
        okBtn = btnGp.add('button',u,'Select');

        koBtn.onClick = function(){
      w.close(0);
      }

      okBtn.onClick = function(){
      w.close(1);
      }

        ls.onChange = function() {
            okBtn.enabled = ls.selection!==null;
        }

        w.preferredSize.width = 450;
        w.alignChildren = ["fill","top"];
        ls.preferredSize.height = 200;
        btnGp.alignChildren = ["right","top"];

      okBtn.enabled = false;

        if ( w.show()==1 ){
      if ( ls.selection instanceof Array ) {
      n = ls.selection.length;
                while ( n-- ) folders[ls.selection[n].index].execute();
      }
      else {

    var fo = Folder.desktop;

  • We select several files with the file manager

    Slate with Android 4.4 21

    Multiple files can be selected in file manager to have the same approach.

    My workaround for the problem of "not writing files on USB key" was to install dropbox on the slate.

    This allows me to select a file (usually screenshots for instuctions) and copy it to dropbox.  So I delete the files.

    I want to be able to do these operations on multiple files at a time instead of all the necessary selections to make them one by one.

    I discovered that if you do a long press on a single file to implement mode "tool", you can tap on other files to add or remove the selection.

    I try to keep this slate reasonably stock because we use it to support the development of software that is used on the units that are used in manufacturing.  More similar we can keep this for manufacturing units, the fewer problems we should see because of incompatible software.

  • Select several images in photo

  • Select several files and store in table: folder object type turns into a string?

    Hello

    I'm trying to implement the following:

    The user selects a folder (which contains subfolders) in a dialog box:

    Set Dateiauswahl = CreateObject. BrowseForFolder (0, "Verzeichnis Park", 512, mess_path)

    Folder value = CreateObject ("Scripting.FileSystemObject"). GetFolder (Dateiauswahl.Self.Path)

    All subfolders of the selected folders are listed in two variables with the overall picture:

    Call GlobalDim ("FolderList (" & Ordner.SubFolders.Count - 1 & "" ")" ")

    Call GlobalDim ("FolderPaths (" & Ordner.SubFolders.Count - 1 & "" ")" ")

    f = 0
    for each Unterordner in Ordner.SubFolders
    FolderList (f) = Unterordner.Name
    FolderPaths (f) = Unterordner
    f = f + 1

    next

    Only later the files of some of the subfolders should be stored in another file list table:

    f = 0
    for q = 0 to UBound (selection)
    Unterordner = FolderPaths (selection (q))
    Call MsgBox (Unterordner)
    For each file in Unterordner.Files
    If instr (1, File.Name, "Speed") = 0 then
    FileList (f) = File.Path
    f = f + 1
    end if
    Next

    next

    Now I seem to have a problem with the type data stored in the FolderPaths table. While Unterordner is a Folder object and must be a Folder object for each file in Unterordner.Files to work, store in the array it transformed into a string variable.

    I don't really understand why and am looking for a solution so that I can extract single table FolderPaths subfolders and then extract the files.

    Hi maliya,.

    To assign an object to an array element (or any other variable), you must use the Set syntax, like this:

    Set FolderPaths (f) = Unterordner

    Then later you can retrieve it with the same syntax:

    Set Unterordner = FolderPaths (selection (q))

    Copies are created when you are unable to

    It's a little easier if you have your folder
    Options set at single click... that way you can

    and you don't have to click. For multiples you
    I have to keep... CTRL or Shift.

    your solution. To adjust the click...
    Open a folder and go... Tools / folder
    Options / General tab... Check... 'single click '.
    To open an item"/ apply / OK.

    If you want to delete all the files in a folder
    You can try the following:

    Reach... Edition / select all... or type... CTRL / has...

    With all of the files selected... go... Drop / delete...
    or press your delete key... or... click on the
    Group and choose 'delete '.

    How do I find and remove unwanted 'copies '.
    of your image files.

    Open the folder that the images are saved in and
    on the left, click on the button 'Search' in your toolbar.

    (If you view the files from a montage
    program and do not know where the record is... right
    Click on one of the image files and the menu...
    choose... Properties. The path to the folder will be
    in the tab 'General' to 'Place').

    In the research pane select... "All files and folders".

    In the "All or part of the file name" field. Come in...

    Now... on the left, click on the search"" button.

    When the search is complete... go to... Edition / select all...

    Then go to... Remove / delete.

    You will see a dialog box asking if you are sure
    you want to delete the files, click Yes.

    Now... on the left, click on the 'Back' button in your toolbar.

    We have several users who claim that they have been able to select several files PDF and select print. He would then send a single stream and end up in a single document. These are the users of reader.

    We have tested under 10.1.4 and 11.0.06 player and were not able to make it work. Is it still possible?

    Not possible with Acrobat Reader.

    See HairyFool response, and I would add the following. You can select multiple files in a folder by clicking on one and then by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on all the others you want, one at a time.

    After selecting several files, you can do what you want with them - all remove them, copy them, cut, etc..

  • Several copies of photos and videos in librar

    There are often multiple copies of photos and videos in my pictures and video libraries (I mean a LOT of copies... usually with a number in brackets).  I'm afraid that they use hard disk space.  Is there a way I can stop Windows 7 to automatically perform these copies?  I do not see why I would need never them.

    If you keep the files stored on an sd card and keep importing the files of same whenever it might be a good idea to import into the same folder each time, at least you will have a folder that contains all the content of imports and only new files will be imported.

    But this implies that you use windows Explorer to copy and paste or drag and drop the files in this folder, every time,

    When windows Explorer detects duplicates it will warn you that the actions to take when it detects a duplicate file, unfortunately, once duplicates are present (2) or (3) on the end of them that they are different files now.

    Copies (copying) aura about it, not one (2)... it's one of the options windows will give you and it seems that you have selected it when you import.

    The option that windows needs to take is to not copy the file and change its name if it finds a duplicate you want to jump, check the box to use this action on any other duplicates it finds.

    Windows has a bad habit of not reading inside closed files, that is why you have so many duplicates.

    There are to many third duplicate file finder software utility out there to help remove them, use your favorite search engine to search for one.

    The best thing to do is to select those pictures and right click and delete.

    To select several files at once, hold down the CTRL key when you click on the left, select a bunch and delete them all with a right click and delete.

    What is the point of FM version? The most recent is 12.0.3. The initial version had a problem when printing the book file.

    For the creation of PDF files, save it in PDF format is now recommended instead of printing to pdf.
