Selected values from Shuttle

I know there is a lot of discussion on the values of the shuttle and how to get the data to display on the right side, based on calculations. That makes sense, and I have this job. However, it works when I want to on the right side of the values that are not currently in the database? Here's my function, PLSQL, I thought I could try, but it shows nothing. Thank you.

DECLARE
vCAT APEX_APPLICATION_GLOBAL. VC_ARR2;
I have NUMBER: = 1;
BEGIN
IF: P1_CONTENT_TYPE = "11" THEN
FOR IN c (SELECT: P251_NAME AS CATEGORY FROM DUAL)
LOOP
vCAT (i): = c.CATEGORY;
i: = i + 1;
END LOOP;
END IF;
RETURN APEX_UTIL. TABLE_TO_STRING (vCAT);
END;

I thought that since the: P251_NAME value does not exist in the same table shuttle LOV, pulling double might work, but I don't get anything to work. Any help is appreciated.

Jon

Hi John,.

If I read you correctly, you have, say, an element of shuttle based on "SELECT ENAME, EMPNO FROM EMP r BY 1 D". The value of must be based on a string delimited by two points values EMPNO and you don't have these values available on any table? But these documents are available in the P251_NAME article?

If so, the only thing you need is to make sure that this string of P251_NAME of the EMPNO values delimited by a colon.

Is this good? If not, could you explain more (perhaps using the select above as a guide)

  • Select values from the db1 table and insert into the DB2 table

    Hello

    I have three databases oracle running in three different machines. their ip address is different. among the DB can access databases. (means am able to select values and insert values into tables individually.)

    I need to extract data from the DB1 table (ip say DB1 is 10.10.10.10 and the user is DB1user and the table is DB1user_table) and insert the values into DB2 table (say ip DB2 is 11.11.11.11 and the user is DB2user and table DB2user_table) of DB3 that is to have access to the two IPs DB.

    How do I do this

    Edited by: Aemunathan on February 10, 2010 23:12

    Depending on the amount of data must be moved between DB1 and DB2, and the frequency at which this should happen, you might consider the SQL * COPY more control. I think it's very useful for one-off tasks little, so I can live within its limits of the data type. More http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10823/apb.htm#i641251.

    Change some parameter of sqlplus session are almost mandatory in order to get decent transfer rates. Tuning ARRAYSIZE and COPYCOMMIT can make a huge difference in flow. LONG change may be necessary, too, depending on your data. The documentation offers these notes on use:

    To activate the copy of data between Oracle and databases non-Oracle, NUMBER of columns is replaced by DECIMAL columns in the destination table. Therefore, if you are copying between Oracle databases, a NUMBER column with no precision will become a DECIMAL column (38). When copying between Oracle databases, you must use SQL commands (CREATE TABLE AS and INSERTION), or you must make sure that your columns have a specified precision.

    SQL * the VALUE LONGER variable limits the length of the LONG column you are copying. If all LONG columns contain data exceeds the value of LONG, COPY truncates the data.

    SQL * Plus performs a validation at the end of each successful COPY. If you set the SQL * variable more COPYCOMMIT DEFINED to a value positive n, SQL * Plus performs a validation after copying all lots n of records. The SQL * Plus ARRAYSIZE variable SET determines the size of a batch.

    Some operating environments require that the service names be placed between double quotes.

    From a SQL * Plus term on DB3, can resemble the command to move all content from my_table in DB1 to the same table in DB2

    COPY from user1/pass1@DB1 to user2/pass2@DB2 -
    INSERT INTO my_table -
    USING select * from my_table

    Note the SQL code * more line-continuation character ' - '. It is used to escape the newline character in a SQL * Plus command if you do not have to type all on one line. I use it all the time with this command, but I can't locate the documentation on that right now. Maybe someone else can put their finger on it.

    There are other ways to accomplish what the command copy and it is not without its quirks and limitations, but I find that there is usefulness in an Oracle Toolbox.

  • DVT:pivotFilterBar - how to get the selected values of the filter

    Hi all

    I have a question: how to get the selected values from the pivot table filter bar programmatically?

    I tried to use
    pivotTable.getDataModel().getDataAccess().getValueQDR(startRow, startCol, DataAccess.QDR_WITH_PAGE);
    but to the edge of the side DATA INCORRECTESdeclarations page, it seems that it will return the cached values.

    Environment: JDev 11.1.1.3.0 without tasks.

    Thank you
    Miroslaw

    Hello

    You can retrieve the value selected in the PivotFilterBar through the PivotFilterBar model, instead of dataaccess:

    Download the template of the bar pivot filter instance
    QueryDescriptior queryDescriptor = (QueryDescriptor) pivotFilterBar.getValue ();

    retrieve a list of criterion, each of them is used to fill each lov in the pivot filter bar
    ConjunctionCriterion conjunctionCriterion = queryDescriptor.getConjunctionCriterion ();
    List criterionList = conjunctionCriterion.getCriterionList ();
    for (int i = 0; i)<_criterionList.size(); i++)="">
    AttributeCriterion = (AttributeCriterion) criterionList.get (i) criterion.

    _selected is the currently selected value
    Selected object = criterion.getValues () .get (0);

    System.out.println (_selected);
    }

    Hope that helps,
    Chadwick

    can you give me a link for the dynamic creation of checkbox

    FOR EXAMPLE BASED ON CREATED LOV SHARE COMPONENT

    Select the column name as the name of column d, r

    the name of the table

    Boxes are just another way to make a LOV. For a dynamic set of checkboxes, the standard pair of value/label LOV SQL projection is required in the definition:

    select initcap(dname) l, to_char(deptno, 'tm9') v from dept
    order by v asc

    If additional values are required, they can be included in the query using unions:

    select initcap(dname) l, to_char(deptno, 'tm9') v from dept
    union all
    select 'Other', 'OTHER' from dual
    order by 2 asc

    Checkbox events can be handled by dynamic actions as indicated on page 586 of your test App. Note that I prefer to enable and disable the controls on form rather than hiding and showing them that there is less confusion for the user. It is simple to change the disable/Enable dynamic actions to hide and show if necessary.

    1. add values as shuttle (P9_TO_MOVE_ITEM) items in the form box, that will store in 1:2:3:4 of database column values

    Then add the new report with the following classic area.

    WITH delimited AS (SELECT REPLACE(:P9_TO_MOVE_ITEM,':', ':') vals FROM DUAL)

  • SelectManyShuttle: get the selected values

    Hi all.

    My task is to make declarative component (or any other reusable solution) that contains the selected component to many shuttle and should proceed with a treatment of the selected values (IDs and labels). During this operation, I found that this shuttle component returns the bean always and only point index, nothing more.
                  <af:selectManyShuttle label="" id="sms1"
                                        styleClass="AFStretchWidth"
                                        value="#{MyBean.selected}"
                                        valueChangeListener="#{MyBean.shuttleChangeListener}"
                                        valuePassThru="true">
                    <f:selectItems value="#{attrs.items}" id="si1"/>
                  </af:selectManyShuttle>
    First of all, I tried MyBean.setSelected and found it is called with list < integer > instead of < SelectItem > list or any similar. These integers is the index 0 of selected lines. Then I tried to valuePassThru, but it triggered a mocking effect only: setSelected receives List < String > with the same values of the index 0 chained. Finally, I tried valueChangeListener and newValues - everything was the same, both in JDeveloper corresponding 11.1.1.5 & 11.1.2.1 with ADFs. Googling did me a lot of links--say, the need to get the values selected from the selectManyShuttle --but nothing that I can use.

    Maybe I should get a model and an iteration, but in several tests (for example, ((MyBean) this) .getAttribute ('items')) I failed to locate him. In any case, I would be happy to see that any solution work.

    What do you get when solve you the EL "#{attrs.items}" in the method of bean? Not sure if you have access to everything or what you get in return, but you can try.
    Just put a breakpoint in the method and type the EL in the evaluator 'EL' and see if you get something in return and what type it is. I hope you have the list you put in to fill the shuttle.

  • Creation of Validation for the multiple selection list or shuttle point

    Hello
    I'm new to APEX and have questions about the best way to validate the selected shuttle items to verify that they exist in the sys.dba_roles table before submitting. The shuttle point uses a static LOV. I would like to than the error message to display when there is no such thing as a role selected in the element of the shuttle in the sys.dba_roles table.

    Using version 3.2 of APEX
    DB version 9.2.0.8.0
    Internet Explorer version 6

    I tried to create a validation step level about to shuttle P3_ROLE using SQL EXISTS when you press the button SUBMIT. I know that when argued that the shuttle point returns the selected values in a single string delimited by a colon. I use the APEX_UTIL. STRING_TO_TABLE to convert values selected in a table.

    CODE HERE
    declare
    l_selected APEX_APPLICATION_GLOBAL. VC_ARR2;
    number of l_num;
    Start
    l_selected: = APEX_UTIL. STRING_TO_TABLE(:P3_ROLE);
    BECAUSE me IN 1.l_selected. COUNTY
    LOOP
    Select 1 from l_num of sys.dba_roles where role = l_selected (i);
    END LOOP;
    end;

    This is the error ORA-00928: lack of SELECT keyword
    1006 - ERR error in the validation routine.

    Any advice? Thoughts? Thank you.

    Hello

    Your code is PL/SQL block. You cannot use this type of validation with your code.

    Try to change the body type of the function that returns the error text and
    code for this one

    DECLARE
      l_selected APEX_APPLICATION_GLOBAL.VC_ARR2;
      l_num NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      l_selected := APEX_UTIL.STRING_TO_TABLE(:P3_ROLE);
      FOR iIN 1..l_selected.COUNT
      LOOP
        SELECT count(1) INTO l_num FROM sys.dba_roles WHERE role = l_selected(i);
        IF l_num = 0 THEN
          RETURN 'Role not exists';
        END IF;
      END LOOP;
      RETURN NULL;
    END;

  • store the values of shuttle

    Hi all
    I use a part of the shuttle in a form

    No matter what is selected in the item of the shuttle is stored in the database correctly.

    It is:

    After selecting the value of the shuttle, when I click on save button.
    It is by selecting all the values on the left and then saving it.

    How to avoid this?
    Please, could someone help me?  :| ???

    Thanks in advance
    Good bye
    Sonny_starck

    Hello

    At present, there is no way to avoid selecting the values of the left hand of the shuttle, it is automatic and cannot be changed. But only the right hand values will be saved in the session.

    It is a known issue, and we evaluate whether he should be considered a bug.
    If you "absolutely" need to make sure that it is turned off, you can use javascript to remove values from the left before submitting it.

    Thank you and have a happy and healthy 2015!

    Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    I ran and got this:

    asset:///main.qml:161: TypeError: Result of expression 'theList.dataModel' [bb::cascades::ArrayDataModel(0x1091a838)] is not a function.

    But it works

    theListModel.data([3])

    But this isn't the solution, you have a more serious problem. You select a value, you trigger. If you add this in onTriggered you select it (and you can see that it changes color when it is selected).

    theList.select(indexPath);

    If you want to use option to deselect

    theList.select(indexPath, !theList.isSelected(indexPath));

    And if you want to have that one chose this

    theList.clearSelection();
    theList.select(indexPath);

    Inside the button 'Select the 3rd point' allows to select programmatically

    theList.select([2]);

    It works but I'm not sure what you're trying to do
