    Method 1:

    Run the troubleshooters in Windows Media Player and check if it helps.

    Please provide the exact point of the software & OS installed on your system. Also check if it is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check updates.

    Follow this thread to reset the Acrobat preferences:- How to reset preference settings in format Acrobat.

    You can check after connecting this scanner locally to the system if asked its connected on network & then look for the same thing.

    I am running Windows 7 64 bit Pro and Acrobat 9 pro. I have a HP Scanjet 7650 on my desktop, plugged into my laptop via a usb cable.  I was scanning over a year, no problem.  Today, when I'm at work, I tried to analyze something and it gives me this error: error while interacting with the scanner; the selected scanner was not found.  I tried them both, not native WIA, the Native Interface, presets, custom interface. each option and combination and it gives me the same error.  I disconnected the cable, reinstalled HP drivers, I reinstalled Acrobat.  It works fine if I click with the right button on the scanner of the devices/Printers box and click "search". It does simply not work with Acrobat.

    I deleted and reinstalled the two drivers, two or three times and it finally started working today with acrobat 9

    I have recently updated our installation of the Apex to version 4.0.1 on Oracle 11.2. There, I found the following problem, for which I don't know if it of a bug or not:
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Select a sample application and open a page that contains a report interavtive
    2 run the page
    3. click on "Actions" and select "filter".
    4. wait for the filter to display, and then select another tab.

    The result is a page not found. The address bar displays the link: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept with no parameters.

    I tried to use a different model and finally I turned to the sample applications. It ends up that question.

    My questions:
    1. is it already known issue
    2. is there a work around? because this can be very annoying for our client.

    EUL5_Documents.

    I went to Oracle Developer just to run a select statement on this table.
    (We use discoverer out of an ODS - data warehouse - like repository)

    So in Oracle developer, I signed in ODS and typed:
    Select * from EUL5_documents

    I typed EUL5_ a drop-down list of tables appear, so I chose EUL5_documents

    I get an error msg when I run the table is not found...

    You are probably using the SunGard ODS?

    If so, you must open a session as long as the owner of the EUL is not the owner of the ODS. In many cases, this account is ODSDISCO.

    You can tell by logging in to the administration tool. Any account that you use to connect there is one that you can use to query the underlying tables. EUL5_DOCUMENTS is definitely one you want to watch.
