• CS5 Selection tool Bug

  It's extremely frustrating.  Whenever I try to make a rectangle selection does not follow my mouse, but just scales upward from the initial point of origin.

  Adobe pay you much too much money for useless tools.

  PS also have a ridiculous problem in I now where, if I take an object it automatically clone it.  So whenever I take to move something I get a clone of this object... wtf.

• Problem Selection tool

  Hello

  I use the latest version of Photoshop CC and in all the documents, I try to use the marquee selection tool, I get a warning:

  WARNING: No pixel is selected more than 50%. Selected edges will be visible.

  Is this a bug or am I the only one having this problem?

  I have problems with the Selection tool on an ellipse shape. I mean resize a circle, forced to anchor to the left. When I fly over the strewn right anchor a little oval appears next to the selection tool which then requires me to restrict to the Center. I need it's off. Also, I discovered that if I compensated a circle, these options are disappearing.

  

  It is a feature of newly introduced bug. Ellipses are now living forms by default. To change back to a regular form, select object > shape > expand your form.

  Hello everyone.

  Since the last update a few hours back, automatic selection no longer works as before.

  At first I thought that it was simply does not work. I made sure that the "auto select Layers" has been checked in the move tool, I went to the Brush tool, which held the key CTRL pressed to activate temporarily move and... Nothing.

  The move tool on his own photo works perfectly well and as expected.

  The last time it was changed back. I guess it was just a misstep, I realize the selection Auto is a complex code and all, but please fix it. This time less than 3 months time, if possible.

• Elliptical selection tool - "no attention WARNING: no pixels are selected to more than 50 percent." The edges of the selection will be not visible.

  I am convinced that it is a bug in Photoshop CC 2014. I am on Windows 7, 64-bit. The 2014.2.2 version, and the version is 2014.204.r.310 x 64. If I select a zone by using the Rectangle tool, the area is described as usual. However, if I use the elliptical selection tool and select the same area, I get the warning. Even if I fill the region using the paint bucket, I always get error if I try to select using the elliptical framing box. Is always successful with the rectangle. I've seen other users re issues. the lasso tool with the same behavior and warning. The usual answer has been put at the edge of the feather to 0. However, it is by default (on my system) to 0.0. Using the selector to improve the contour and by replacing the value 0 (or any other value) makes no difference and in fact after this and clicking OK, the warning screens.

  Is this a bug with the elliptical selection tool? I've updated Photoshop just before submitting this question, and the behavior is unchanged.

  There are different possibilities to solve this situation. Try one of the following options;

  • Decrease the radius of softening of the selection tools,
  • Increase the size of the selection
  • Increase the size of the image (this may decrease the quality of your image),.
  • Ignore the warning message and keep going to work on your file (remember that your selection is still there).
  • Also, make sure that you selected and the targeting of the correct layer.

  You may prefer to set the feather to zero in on the selection tools and use the pen (Ctrl + Alt + D) command for each specific selection. Using the feather command does not change the parameter of smoothing (zero value) on selection tool, so you don't need to wory on previous selections feather RADIUS.

  Ivan,

  If it's on the rectangular objects, you may have encountered the bug Rectangle Live which is limited to the MAC versions from 10.7 and 10.8, but not of 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Yosemite). If all goes well, the bug will be fixed soon.

  Thus, a switch for the Mavericks or Yosemite with a reinstall might be the way to solve it here and now.

  To get around it, in each case, it is possible to develop direct Rectangles to get the normal old shaped rectangles or Pathfinder > unit, or use the scale tool or the free transform tool.

  A more permanent way round that is to create normal old shaped rectangles, after running the free script created by Pawel, see this thread with download link:

• Problems with the "Select tool?"

  Because I have updated the latest version of Adobe Illustrator on cc, the "Select" tool does not correctly. It does not scale the rectangle shapes (made by the tool 'Form') using the "select" tool (all other forms work fine). I tried to contact customer service at this topic and it seems that it is a software update. I asked an ETA, but was initially ignored, and the 2nd time said they could not provide me with this information yet, only that he had been sent to the engineering team. • Direct Selection tool. PS CC hangs at each time a modified form. Suggestions?

  I am currently using the latest version of PS CC - set to update to the latest "bugs" and all.

  Whenever I use the direct Selection tool, I select points of a shape, the PS crashes and closes automatically without fail.

  It's the only time wherever it crashes?  What are your system specs and OS?

  Take a look on your GPU settings in Preferences > performance?  Try the ' use GPU acceleration?  Also look in the advanced settings and try to change those.  If it helps, then look to update your video card manufacturer's Web site card reader.

  Maybe you could try and do a new CC, new sequence as the other project and import the images even in the new. It is perhaps a matter of "import old project in new version?

• Selection tool is not the tail with images when you drag

  So I had this frustrating thing for a while. When I put my selection tool a video file at first to move to the side or another layer and as soon as, like moving the selection tool a bit, he places automatically the video one layer under my selection tool...   Went on the Chat with Adobe and they solved the problem via remote access.

  First on erase my personalized workspaces closed first pro. Then went to my "documents" (I have a mac) 'Adobe' and then click 'Premiere Pro' and moved three files named "6.0" "9.0" and "10.0" in a new folder, that they named "Od." Finally they opened back first. When the box came to put everything in place, they went up to the top of the window and deselected "import the project workspace" under "workspaces". I have opened a project and it fixed the problem. I had to make a new workspace and change some shortcuts custom back, but other that that, it was back to normal.

  You're out of space. Some toolbar has been resized/re-spaced in the last update. Click on the menu button (on the far-right in your screenshot) and select Customize... Make sure that the mounting frame (object) is selected. If this is the case, you should disable something else to make room for this group of button.

  The best way would be to make sure that your layer is not a background layer: click the lock icon in this case. Then click the icon at the bottom of the layer panel layer mask. This will create a mask that you can refine and not be destructive.
