  Firefox has a "Send link" feature but it is not in the menu or the toolbar when you install Firefox. You can add it using the personalization feature. This article describes how to open the Customize dialog box where you can drag the email link icon to the menu or toolbar: controls customize Firefox, buttons, and toolbars.

  You can also find it in the classic menu bar. If you do not usually display that bar (file, editing, display,...), you can display it temporarily by pressing the Alt key or by pressing the F10 key. Then, check the menu file for email link.

  If you have not yet installed Firefox to connect to your e-mail application or mail site, you should get a dialog box with choices. If your email application or mail site is not listed, please post back with more information on what you want to use to send the message.

  Hi Sara, if you need another way to do it, the feature is available in the classic file menu. You can call this bar high by pressing the ALT key.

  I have a new problem.  My laptop is more than a year and no problem connecting to the Internet.  I changed my security software and now am connected to Internet but can't access the web pages or e-mail.  I tried a lot of solutions suggested here.  I did a system restore and cannot yet access the Internet.  I uninstalled Norton and installed AVG 9.0.  I tried to uninstall AVG and are still unable to access.

  Help!  I spent 4 hours on this and nothing seems to work.

  Check if you have the latest drivers installed for your network card. You can visit the computer or the Web site of the manufacturer of the device to see if you have the latest drivers installed for your network card.

  Try to reset the TCP/IP stack:

  I use to have an add-on that would take the addresses displayed as text in the Web pages to display as the link URL. When I would click on the link of the URL, it would open a new e-mail message. What is the name of this add-on or how to get this feature working again in my browser?

  I don't remember using one, but I've heard of the Add-ons that any URL in the "linkify" page is clickable. Maybe they would also "linkify" an email address?

  To work around the problem, you can use the bookmarklet. This is a script that save you as a bookmark so you can click on the bookmark when you want to run. Here's how:

  (1) select and copy the following script (it's actually a long series):

  (2) a convenient location on your bookmarks bar or Bookmarks Menu with the right mouse button and choose new bookmark.
