  • The free update does not have the ability to switch architectures, so architecture will remain the same. If you want to spend the architectures, you will need to download the 10 window. ISO file in the appropriate architecture (32 or 64 bit) and do a custom installation.

• How can I separate two devices currently share a backup?

  I had an old iPod Touch for years, but has recently upgraded to an iPhone 5s. When I plugged the iPhone first to my mac, iTunes asked if I wanted to restore from an existing backup or create a new. I chose to restore it from the iPod, thought that would give me a good starting point with all that my existing applications and I would change from there.

  I didn't know, however, that by doing this, I have made my computer both regard as essentially the same device. When I download a new application on my iPhone (which, usually, is not compatible with the old iPod which can not run an iOS past version 6), it automatically downloads the same app on my iPod. Or maybe it's just an update to an application, I always want to iPod, but probably that the updated version does not work on the iPod (or I would have already updated.) I would like to give one away to my fiancee, who doesn't have a smart phone or iPod of any sort, but it's a problem that both devices want to synchronize all their data.

  I could just wipe the old iPod, but it would be very difficult for my fiancee and then to find applications that work with him, because he's still on iOS 6. Very few things that you can find in the app store is now compatible with it, and the app store seems to be incapable of filtering to display only those that are. It also doesn't make it easy (or possible) to download the older compatible versions of apps that have been updated.   Hello, I'm a bit of a handyman and a tech junkie. However, I still find sync is a very useful and practical and applied it to all of my devices (tablets, phone, multiple computers). Because of my ongoing quest to improve things, however, I am frequently change OS' are and uninstall apps/reorder records on many of these devices, so I find myself often need to reinstall firefox (and thus re-synchronization).

  The only problem here is that sync recognizes each new iteration as its own separate device, even though a large majority of them cease to exist entirely and are gone forever. What makes my "other devices tabs" page a huge pain to access, as most device names are the same and always have many pages active in them.

  How would I go about the removal of these old accounts of my sync account? Change my password is not good at all, because given that the devices cannot access the server, more they are always present in my database and therefore are always boring. Any help is appreciated!

  It seems that you have disconnected the old Firefox Sync and re - he added. In addition to the process of synchronization still holding, I also noticed that a few bookmarks are missing on my devices. I tried to re-synchronization and the fact of separate devices and reissue of links and I even deleted, recreated and resynced my account but the problem persists. Is be the same missing bookmarks on both devices. What do you advise?

  Firefox Home is just a client of Firefox Sync and download any changes to servers so it is unlikely that this process has affected bookmarks, preferences, or the history in your computer. If this is the case, you can accidentally delete this bookmark or there is an add-on of messing with them

  If, however, you MENTION is that your iPhone / iPad lack both the same bookmark, it is possible that an individual has not been uploaded to the server again. Allow your computer to extra time to connect to our servers you open (this process happens in the background) so everything can be pushed to the server, then to your phone.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are interested in a number of pages for each device that print to your HP Envy 4500.

  This option is not available, because the number of pages for the HP printer is the total number printed on this machine.

  I'm sure you can find a 3rd party software that can install on all devices to give you the number of individual pages, I suggest a Google search.

  I use my phone T - Mobile G2 Google (HTC) as an occasionally mobile access point. I did it with my K-1 as well as my X ThinKpad Ideapad - 60. Work as well as your location permits. When I'm in a place that ID would be "G4" it is very effective. No need for a separate device hotspot your phone does the same work.

• OPC materials - end user adding a new devices

  I need to create an application that connects to a compatible device OPC and read labels (variable) in my program.  I can do this by creating a shared variable.  What I have to do is to add other devices.  It seems obvious that all devices have the same tag name.  When the program runs, my client would like the opportunity to select one or more devices to read/write data to.  What the program is really intended for the registration of data using the Citadel, set up alarms, graphical representation, report generation, etc. and will make good use of the DSC module.  The way I imagined the work programme is the user to press a button to add mutual FUNDS to the program, a dialog box appears with all available OPC devices, the user selects one and hits OK.  At this point, the program comes to life, recording and graphic representation of data, generate alarms etc.

  What I see what will happen, is that when a device is selected, a table group is populated. Each item is a separate device, and every table is a separate variable.  Ex:

  I had a problem with my e280. A month ago, I started getting an error message during playback of my music files. The error says "Syncronize to continue music subscription" I have synced to my computer, nothing helps. Soon ALL my music files were giving me this error message. I went on the Sansa website, where I was directed to download and run the device Sansa Recovery Console. I did as instructed, and now when I join my e280, I get TWO paths of devices (E: / and F: /). I am only able to access one of them (E: /). F: / is noted as removable drive and not going anywhere. When I enter in E: / I can not find my music files. When I remove my camera, he did a restart of automatic system, as soon as the restart was successful, it updates the database for about 10 minutes. I synced the device and my computer prompted me to format the device. I formatted and I still no MUSIC file. The device has been wiped and I thought it would be best to seek professional help until I made the situation worse.

  If there is any other information needed to tell me what it is and, in the worst case scenario, how to find and I'll post it as soon as POSSIBLE. I know it's a lot of problems for a single device, but any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

  Unless you are dealing with the Rhapsody subscription service, the error message "sync" is probably due to problems, DRM , Windows Media Player created without your knowledge. It is turned on by default in WMP, & unless you know about it from the start, you can do it yourself untold headaches.

  If you are ripping from CD to the .wma format, uncheck the option 'Copy protect' in the rip settings tab. It's the guy causing the problem. If you do not rip your own CD and downloading these songs instead, they have a DRM encryption. Try a different and/or source format. MP3 files don't have any crippling DRM.

  You must delete the files on the drive and start over with new, best non - DRM. If RIP you to .mp3 format, it won't be a problem, more there are other benefits on the Microsoft/WMP .wma format.

  When connected in MSC mode, your computer will detect your drive as just another flash storage device; actually 2 separate devices. 1 will be your drive (internal memory). In your case, E:.   Under devices, I find that my laptop Apple (WIFI connection) and our Dell Desktop (LAN) connection are considered to be the same device.  The operating system shows the EA3500 of this device is the system connections apple IOS and address numbers displayed in this device.  It is therefore impossible to set parental control separately on each computer.  What could I do to get the EA3500 to recognize these separate devices?  I tried to force Apple WIFI network address to another address.  All that happened was the address of device updated on the list of EA3500 devices, but LAN and WIFI addresses remain together in the same device name and MAC OS on the list of devices.

  I have the latest firmware downloaded on my EA3500.  It wasn't a question previously when I ran the old firmware.

  Here is one that I see in the list display the LAN address for the address of Dell and WIFI for Apple on the same devices screen.  When I turn off a device, the respective entry goes.  Only when both computers are turned off reflects the unique device entry on the EA3500 offline.

  This is a bug that comes and goes. Personally, I didn't for a while. But it's still there (even with the latest firmware)... If you catch this bug, it is usually difficult to shake because it can resurface. It affects too EA4500.

  There is no real rhyme or reason why it appears.

  I want to play audio different on various devices. For example, I would put a Skype conversation through my headphones while having a video game through my speakers. Also, the speakers use the audio jack of 3.5 mm on the top of the case while the headphones are 5.1 surround using the ports on the rear panel. However, when I plugged both, they only appear as a device. Previously on other computers that they would be present as separate devices such as "Headphones" and "speakers". It makes me unable to separate the audio that goes to each of the devices. Also, I can't set up differently and have my stereo speakers used while my headphones are 5.1 surround.

  How can I get my computer to detect the two devices (headphones 5.1 surround using the rear panel ports and stereo speakers using the plug 3.5 mm front/high) as two separate devices?

  Thank you very much for the screen shot. The system works according to the design. You can complete with an audio jack USB for stereo speakers and then switch between the headphones and speakers via the sound properties.
