Sequence "hook" to the "group of the end."

We have the odd situation where the sequence runs throughout, but that he will defend "idle" when it reaches the . Most of the measures have "Record results", and there is no callback sequence with the exception of the hand. It is also impossible to suspend, interrupt or end at this point.

Must kill TestStand at this point and restart the computer. Someone of you have spotted on this one?

Thank you

Ronnie

Looks like you have launched a void sequence in a new thread, and waiting for this sequence to complete the main sequence.  You have started anything in a new thread that has not finished?

I have a sequence calling a few screws it is a mixture of purely based on windows screws and a host of Windows VI for an FPGA on VI.

It must unload the VI if all measures that use the VI have a similar setting. If the VI is used nowhere else, charge time is actually the longest of all the places where it is used. Also if an another VI which is always loaded as references that VI will effectively keep the vi loaded. Since all unload unloads all the modules, it is possible that somehow made VI refers to VI another you always load.

  • How to insert a video caption to the current point rather than at the end of the Group

    I have two video groups

    + Subtitles

    + Videos

I add captions to various locations along the timeline. Whenever I do it adds after the last item in this group, rather than the position of the timeline slider (which is where I want to). I then have to go to the end of this group and then drag it to the point of origin.

Anyone knows how to insert at the current point?

I don't think you can do it the way that you what. The place command is under the main menu: file > Place > Embedded.

  • Can I need separate videos to allow a user to 'Play All' (from the beginning to the end) and select certain sequences (ceremony, reception which the sequence chosen start and end at the rest of the video and not the sequence, speech etc.)?

Hi - I'm obviously new to yet, but that's what I want to do.

In a wedding video, I want them to be able to:

1 play the movie from start to finish.

    2. Select a sequence (say speech) who plays since the beginning of the sequence to the END of the whole video.

So do I need 1 video for the room, as well as 4 sequences - reception, cake, speech, dance?

    Colin

You can use separate videos or a single video. The only video is easier for your desired navigation. You will find more people asking how to get the 'chapter' or the video scene at the rear to a menu when it ends and also have a game all. So ignore the advice on those.

    Simple video:

Your single video goes on a timeline. 'Play all' is a button in the timeline, and the timeline has an end action of "last menu."

Menu of chapter has 4 buttons (plus a fifth to return to the main menu), going to each respective chapter marker. There is no action to end on chapter markers, so when a new chapter is reached, he continues to play as the piece all the.

    Several videos:

Each video goes on his own script. The end of video action a timeline is timeline two video etc. Play all is a button that goes to the timeline one. The chapter menu also has a button go to chapter one, and it works identical to the play all. Each of the chapter buttons go to their respective chapter deadlines.

Still may have some problems with a certain time lag, but I do not think that they affect either of these workflows. Don't rely on the preview again; burn a test disc and play on a DVD player.

  • White vertical line at the end of the sequence?

Saw a similar question on a black vertical line to end of sequence. Response was that it was an indicator of the end of the video, and don't show in the final. Is it the same or are there other issues? Newbie here!

Yes, the 'last framework indicator' is a relatively new (which causes confusion and various discussions) in first CC. It shows as a black, vertical bars with a white line if you have reached the end of your sequence or the element in the source monitor. In the past, it was just 'black' you've seen in this case, so consider an automatic rearview mirror he won't be exported from acualy there is no content to export more in this context.

  • Reading and the end of the sequence

Hello! I have a sequence that is 1 second then the clip in it. But when I hit the space bar or play button in the monitor program, playback stops at the end of the clip, but not at the end of the sequence. How to play where is the playhead at the end of the sequence? Thank you!

You're memory is in error.  PP will not play past the last element in a sequence.  If it appeared to do, it was only because he does something he was in order, maybe that one frame long, that you simply do not see.

You cannot specify a length of the sequence anywhere within Premiere Pro, as this term is defined only by the last element in the sequence.  No clips, no 'duration' and of course, no reading.

  • How to manually set the end point of my sequence in the window of the exporter? (Newbie question)

Hey guys, I think it was easy to do in older versions of first, but I'm not sure.  In the export window, I want to put the final point of the media that I export manually.  All I can use is the small triangle on the right, but that gives me no details.  Curiously, I can manually enter the starting point in time code, but not the end point (it is unclickable).

    Thoughts?

    Thank you!

In the export settings dialog box, drag the playhead to the intended to point, and then press 'o'.

  • How to let axSequenceView view the sequence file, after the opening before the race.

How to let axSequenceView view the sequence file, after the opening before the race.

I would do it differently, you do not see when running because your sequence control is connected to the requeteexecution Manager. I have two controls of the same size that sits on top of the other, one connected to requeteexecution as it is by default and the other to SequenceFileView Manager.

You can then use reminders to start execution and execution of end events in the user interface to make the control visible. It is very easy to achieve.

  • xw8400: 8.1 is win the end of the line for xw8400 and others in the series?

I don't see much posted on upgrade to 8.1 win to win 10 to the xw6400 xw8400 etc.

8.1 Win is working great for me, but I don't like to win 8.1 and would spend to win 10.

    Someone at - it ideas?

If you did could you please put the model and other important details such as RAID, etc.

My system is pretty vinilla. No DSS, no RAID, optical and GPU readers supplied with the box.

I had 10 Professional 64-bit Windows and running on these xw workstations for months now, starting by the W10 preview release, and then at the end of July with the RTM version and all recently with the large W10 November update.  W10 works very well on these workstations and is very fast.  I'm usually running 8 GB of RAM, but some have 16GB.  I only use SSDS and generally SATA II types of Intel versions.  I upgrade to the fastest processors, both of them and for example use usually two SLAEJ sSpec code quad cores in the xw6400.  I use two of the code core E5450 quad sSpec SLBBM in the xw6600.

I posted here on what I'm doing 'activate Windows 10' a workstation.  Clonezilla or Acronis is what I use and I have clone W7Pro64 or W8.1Pro64 on a SSD 'stunt' work, then do the upgrade of the downloadable installer MS. W10... I run the .exe rather than boot from the thumb drive and choose to save nothing.  Once a job is activated it will be activated for ever, and I can do a fresh install of W10 on this later when I have free time.  It is my understanding that harvests of activation process of MS W10 the UUID of the BIOS string and thereafter you are registered for this type of W10 install in the servers of activation for the long-term.  This makes the cloning an installation image W10 to a xw6400 above another work of xw6400 active fine... If both are W10 is transparent.

Regarding the drivers... MS did the drivers that are compatible W10 integrated into Setup (which automatically interacts with MS central servers, and which MS has updated according to comments from the owners of these workstations on doing just that and does not work.  It's a great advantage to have a HP workstation... MS is willing to invest the time and effort to do things for HP.

For W7 and W8 there is universal installers HP that I receive from the Z620, etc... HP RealTek, Broadcom card PCIe USB3 TI and install them properly on xw6400/xw8400 pilot sites.  They are able to install drivers for the motherboard chips that predate the machine, they are offered for because the previous chip drivers are included in the program installation (but not necessarily with HP).  For example, the Z620 had a Broadcom NIC in option and you can find the HP Broadcom universal installation program which interacts with the motherboard the xw6400 Broadcom chip also perfectly to get the modern drivers loaded.

I don't go to the former site of HP driver for these old jobs, who stopped to be updated for years.  I use the latest version of the BIOS, of course.  I now only use SSD... usually Intel 320 series 300 GB or 160 GB SATA II those off eBay, used.  I use firmware update and software Intel Toolbox to optimize these.  I'm only using nVidia Quadro... now generally FX1800, FX3700, Quadro 2000 and 2000 d cards.  The FX580 gives a lot of bang for the buck also, and they are all off eBay.  The idea was faster more reliable performance at a reasonable cost, with parts of HP.

Many details to absorb, but things are working fine, stable and fast.  I have personally loaded W10Pro64 on several xw6400, xw8400, xw6600 and Z620 workstations.  All good and I need to do for the benefit of the long reach of our group, but I like W7Pro64 the best yet.  However, I am surprised how well W10 done at this stage.

  • subset of table truncate the end of the 2d array

The intention was to make a program that would generate asynchronous several different signals in a buffer.  Then something would consume the buffer - an output daq, and signal processing.  I created a dummy consumption which takes only 1% over the beginning of the buffer.  Whenever the buffer is smaller than the specified size, more signal will be added at the end.

I ran into a problem where the function of the subset of the Array is truncate the end of the subset sometimes, so I disassembled the program until a congruent portion of the code exists to cause the problem.  It seems to be the use of memory or related allowance.  Maybe I'm doing something that I shouldn't be, but it seems like a bug in labview.  In the block diagram, I have a note that shows a waveform wire that goes to a case statement.  Just remove this thread causes it to work properly as seen by the consistency of the waveform on the front panel.

    I'm using Labview 2014 (without SP1)

I would be grateful for any ideas.

To work around the problem, use the copy always at the moment. I'll try to engage someone R & D of LabVIEW to get the last word.

In any case, it seems unnecessary to carry all these t0 (which is always zero!) and dt (which is always the same. Constantly from waveforms to bays and back just really clutters the code. If dt would be different between the waveforms, you would have a much bigger problem .

I understand that your actual code is much more complicated and what you show is just the tip of the iceberg lettuce.

Here is a general overview of execution project ideas.

    • Use 'building the table' (concatenation mode) instead of "insert into array. It's cleaner.
    • Use simpler and easier to read the code to find the size of the table smaller
    • Only use tables. You can define once and dt for all graphs.
    • Use the correct representation for buffer size controls.
    • Don't place unnecessary sequence structures.
    • I don't think that you really need that local variables, the terminal is written often enough (stops you extra copy of the immense tables in memory!)
    • Do not know what is the structure of matter, but I left it in for now.
    • Add conditionally empty bays, just wire the table via unchanged instead.
    • ...

  • is it safe to use a view control of sequence to display the sequence file both for execution

I have a Teststand UI written in Labview 2012.  It has a single control of sequence, and I use the ConnectSequenceView method to switch between the display just the loading sequence file and the running.  Allow me to reiterate.  When a file sequence is running, the control is connected to the execution Manager.  Otherwise, it is connected to sequenceFileView Manager.

I begin to suspect that I have questions related to this control, when I do the following.

    1. load a movie file

    2 run Single Pass

    3. the execution ends

    4. unloading and Release sequence file

5 load a different sequence file

    6. run single-pass

    7 Labview crashes

    Am I missing a step?

    Thank you

    Kevin

So it seems the crash of Labview, I mentioned in the original post is unrelated to the joint use of display of the sequence control.  However during my troubleshooting, I noticed that I was missing cut from a point of view of control stage before connecting the other view.

And for the record, I think that there are many things wrong with the architecture used in the complete example, but there also many too many features for what to.  Just need a simple "press a button" and "run a test" for operators.  Everyone uses the sequence editor.

All right.  Thanks for the comments.

  • Code starts in the end

    Hey guys.

I have something akward going with my vi.

I have this game I created it, and everything runs inside a while loop that ends on a button click.

In any case, I did a hardware node 'FP. OPEN"and gave him a constant fake so that whenever the while loop ends he will close the current VI (since this vi is basiclly a sub - vi is called from another vi, and I don't want to see once I'm done with my code).

For some reason, I saw the window instantly blocking down, so I decided to test it and replaced it with a msgbox instead.

To my surprise, the msgbox appeared immediately (remember, the msgbox is at the end of the code)

    Could anyone understand this?

    Thank you very much!

    * a link to my VI for reference:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/n5k3faaf9vkb80i/special.VI?DL=0

Your loop is not inside the structure of the sequence, but floating on it (do a cleaning of the diagram to see). This means the close FP occurs as soon as the second image is entered. (even if the while loop were part of the frame, the fp fence would go at the same time and always close the FP immediately.) You should at least, place it in the last (now empty) image.)

As long as a notice, please consider the program from scratch as a restructuring state machine. No local variables or structures of sequence are needed. Once you consolidate all the duplication of code, all diagam would be probably good on a postcard.
