  I know I might be in the wrong forum now, but I don't know where else to turn...

  I have an older version of the Creative Suite (4 SC). I have it in a box, a tent to install it on my new mac, I have a serial number, but it seems that it is a number for an update from a previuous version. I don't have the number of CS3 (remember even never have it...), so I'm not able to record 4 CS... I tried how to contact adobe, but need me only in circles and Im ending up here.

  Tried to reinstall cs4 using Adobe download (since my MAC doesn't have a hard drive and my computer is dead).  It was purchased the version CS4 Extended to students in 2011.  The product code starts with 5 letters, so I tried to enter just the numbers but says it is invalid.  What I am doing wrong?

Once a Windows fatal accident forced me to reinstall all my applications, I can't reinstall the upgrade of the CS6, because CS4 serial number is not recognized as valid. Finally, I was transferred internally to a Customer Service Rep who kindly informed me that I have CS4 registered my Adobe ID and I can go to a CC non-students (with the $29,99 by month supply) of my student CS4 in Australia. But I can't do this online, I must apply through a Customer Service Rep (but not her because she was in the States), or through chat. I've received a number to call (?) - and for the life of me, cannot be connected to a live chat on the web. each link I found for web chat brings back me to the support options for the forums.
