  Had to reformat the hard drive with Windows 7 Pro.  Tried to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro XI by going to my account and get the serial number.  Then downloaded AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe to install.

  When you are prompted to enter the serial number, I entered the serial number in the history of my account.  Message indicated that the serial number was not valid.  "This is not a valid serial number.  Tried to enter the serial number (24 digital) with hyphens and without hyphens.  No go!

  Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Cleaner of suggestion earlier and who ran it, restarted and still - error message received on the wrong serial number.

  Can I know where you bought this XI Acrobat Pro? If it is from Adobe, then the serial number must be registered with your Adobe ID, but if in the case where you bought the 3rd party vendor please check them.
