  Hi, I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1520 with Vista Home Premium. I'm having problems installing SP1 and have identified that one KB952287 that causes the problem. The update causes exactly the same problem.   If you don't want to go in this direction, you should call dell and ask for a replacement recovery media.

• Why my code D8 will not work in D11.5?

  I've been running some educational apps that I built for students for years in the D8 and D10.  I have upgraded to 11.5 two years ago but could not do my apps to work and have not had the time to figure out why, so I do not use it.  Unfortunately now, Apple has dropped Rosetta in Lion and therefore my projectors produced Windows won't work on newer Mac. Here is an example of code to one of my apps that has problems. The first is a frame script that controls a base dialog box.  Students click on a phrase on the stage (sprite 2) and the program responds with a response above in the field 'FAResponse '. I used to use a mouseUp Manager on in the script of the frame but work stopped in D5 or D6 (I don't remember) and someone here told me a script of behavior under my sprite 2 called dialogEngine, which is supposed to return the number of the clicked sprite. He used to work.  He now returned EMPTY to writing of the frame.  Why what happened now? Before I could click sprite 2, 3 or 4 and the behavior script would return the number of sprite clicked to my frame script. How can I fix it?

  The second problem is where I put the text in the field "FAResponse" = "the answer to the selected question.   They used to show in white on black background. Now, nothing is displayed.  I have spent hours trying to understand why and figured out that I now need a updateStage before setting the text in the response field. Why do I do now?  I have several lines in the program who send the text to the response field.  I tried to place the updateStage in loop Manager on (since I only need a updateStage) awaits a SPACE continue the discussion but that does not work. Is there a way to get the text to appear in the FAResponse without updatStage nor a way to update without having to do it in front of hundreds of places in the program?  It was not easy to explain.  I hope someone can help, thanks!

  In order to get the spriteNum sent to the frameScript, try to change your mouseUp handler for:

  Your other problem/s I suspect are tight loops repeat intervene you in the #countTime and the #loop of managers (I would say rename your turn 'loop' to something that is not a keyword of Director). Change your code to avoid these loops won't be easy but is something you should try in a limited way to see if it helps.

  In addition, the updateStage() command is broken on the Mac platform - I forgot the details (if only SW or projectors too) and this is not documented in a TN anywhere either.

  HI, I'm getting an error code 604 when I try to import images, it comes up with the following message, some import operations were not made, the following files were not imported because they could be read... items 1-100 etc.

  I import the raw files from my card, it's no different than when I imported on the free trial version, but now I've updated it wont let me import, everything else seems to work very well with the catalogue, export etc.  Please help me as soon as possible, if someone had this problem?

  Hi thank you 99jon, you're perfectly right, it's to do with permissions and thanks for putting me on the right track to fix, the destination had for some strange reason changed during the upgrade, so raw files went to a file on the hard drive which has permissions rather than the images where he used to go (until the upgrade).  If anyone has this error code 604, please look to see where the images are current, is not always easy to say right away, I saw he entered the hard drive and initially assumed that it would go into pictures where it is before the upgrade, it would be useful that adobe has this error code with an explanation of what this means on their list of troubleshooting , but could not find any information anywhere.  It caused me a lot of delays with hundreds of images that I work on different maturities, but thank God its fixed, very happy

• Satellite Pro 6100: cannot get into the BIOS and does not start

  I have a portable Satellite pro 6100, en I was trying to boot from an external USB hard drive. When I activated the second hard drive option in the BIOS it has stopped booting all in all, I can't even get into the BIOS Setup more. All I get is "In touch with tomorrow TOSHIBA" screen with the icons to select the method of priming preferred manually after it's just blank screen with a cursor blinking in the upper left.

  Press ESC or F8 before to turn usually results in fast beeps sounds.
  Press tilde (~) before turn is reflected in the remaining space screen (not even the home toshiba screen appears) and slow Zens sounds.

  Apart from that I can't really do nothing at all.
  I tried to reset the BIOS by disconnecting the battery CMOS/RTC (hoewever, we call it) of the motherboard for a while with no results.

  Turn on/off without the results of HD internal in a white screen with an ERROR 'IDE #0.
  I can always stop by pressing the power button, you don't have to bother on the external hard drive it past I don't even want it works more.

  Suggestions?

  I agree with Graeme. Your HARD drive is probably faulty. Sorry, but I don't think that you will be able to use the external HARD drive. The option in the BIOS is not for EXTERNAL HARD drive is just, I guess, for disk HARD placed in select Bay.
