  I am new to Oracle so please excuse me if I ask a stupid question. We have a database of the 'target' Oracle on a server that will be our database of ODS containing the repository of the warehouse.   you need the owb on the client software to run on the client design center and you need software owb on the database server to run the service control center there.
  Using the wizard of repository installed on the server to create the repository automatically configures the database to run the control center service automatically. If you use the one installed on the client, you will need to provide the path to the software owb on the server during installation.

  In addition, there is one type of owb software that contains the client and server components.

  you have several instances of database with the OWB repository on the server?

  Try changing the script of run_service.bat - remove the redirection of output to the file run_service.log at the end of the script ("' > % RTHOME%\owb\log\run_service.log" ")

  I have 2 questions about OWB (11 GR 1 material) Conrol Center.
  
  1 control center does not start occasionally, after I login and out Desgin Center some time later the control centre begins.
  Any thoughts on the issue.

  There is a script available in OWB_HOME\rtp\sql\show_service.sql run this script to see if your center of control service is running or not.
  If the script says 'Available', it means control center service is running
  If the script says 'Not available', this means service control center does not work

  There is little more script available in one place.
  Use start_service.sql to start the service control Centre
  Use stop_service.sql to stop the service of control center
  Use service_doctor.sql to study the problem at the service of control center

  what you can do is to create a script that will be run once your server is restarted.
  in the script, you must follow these steps

  go to the directory: $OWBHOME\owb\rtp\sql
  connect to the repository with sqlplus owner
  start the sql file start_service.sql

• How to reinstall Vaio control center

  I, too, have the touchpad problem where I constantly hit him and eventually typing some random paragraph above allows to disable the touchpad when typing transcripts (I am a court reporter). I recently upgraded to Windows 7 (64-bit) and my control center options are now limited and include more the possibility to enable/disable the touchpad.

  I looked in the downloads on this site and cannot determine the appropriate one. I found a single download that looked OK, but said I must be on Vaio care versions 5. something and I am on 6.3.0.09020.

  Also I saw on this forum that there is a possible combination of function keys F1 to toggle the touchpad. I'd like to be able to do instead of launching control center.

  Can someone help me create the combination of shortcut keys or download the appropriate driver or update including the control center? Thank you.

  However if your Touchpad is drifting I think I can explain what is happening. go to control panel and click on the mouse properties.

  is there a tab function?
  If so disable Web support and side and down scroll
  y at - it a section to enable or disable tapping?
  If yes Doubletap disable.
  If none of the above are present, what has happened is windows has installed the default properties on the USB mouse driver and replaced the Touchpad utilities. Because the Touchpad lacks these utilities to help control, sometimes it can move erratically you met.

• X 7500: customization of mouse HP X 7500 (mouse control center)

  I just bought the HP X 7500 Bluetooth Mouse.

  While the search for the best shape, I stumbled on the YouTube page of the HP which had an overview of the mouse X 7500 and said at the end of the video, for the other custimization, mouse HP control center can be downloaded from the HP Web site.

  It is close as well as in the choice of this mouse, because I need to customize the buttons of my mouse.

  To my surprise, the software is not available on the Web site, and after further research, I found a tutorial page saying that it must be installed on the CD that came with the mouse. Of course, there was no CD provided with the purchase (even if there was, I have no CD-ROM drive).

  This pretty much of making the mouse useless for me, and no google search returns all results for mouse control center.

  All other mouse I had previously came with its own software (other brands, it's my first HP) allowing the user to customize his buttons and resolution/sensitivity etc.

  Anyone know where I could get the software, or maybe someone has a CD laying around? The mouse seems to fit comfortably in my hand, and it would be shame to return simply because HP is once more rather incompetent at his service.

  The Control Center software is available for the mouse on the HP site, but not for Windows 10.  You can try to use the software for Windows 8.  You can find the mouse drivers here:

• dv7t-6c00Quad installed Win8Pro (final version) & ATI Catalyst Control Center fails

  My laptop is the dv7t-6 c 00 Quad and I just installed the version of Windows8 Pro (I am a member of MSDN Developer).

  Everything went fine EXCEPT the ATI Catalyst Control Center does NOT work.  I tried to reinstall the graphics driver (sp55098.exe), but it won't work because it does not "meet the minimum requirements" (which I assume means that it has not been updated to handle Windows8.

  The result is that my system has become unstable. I guess that's because the control center would deal with switching between low power and high power/performance chipsets.  I noticed that this change can occur on the fly and seems to have with a web browser (Internet Explorer).

  It's REALLY BAD, because it crashes my system.

  Please respond and tell me that there is a SOLUTION NOW!

  * Notes: I tried to launch Catalyst Control Center and get this message, "Catalyst Control Center cannot be started.  There are currently no parameters that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center".  AAARGH!

  It's the definitive answer to AMD.  HP must deliver the updated for my portable operarting under Windows8 Catalyst drivers.  I hope it will be soon.  In fact, I'd be happy to beta test.

• The sound on my Dell Latitude D505 with Windows XP has stopped. Control center of its Greyed out. Any ideas?

  I recommend reinstalling the drivers for your smart sound (or, better,.), installation of the drivers available later on the chip

  Go to the top Dell support site (enter your Dell service tag number, to get the drivers for your machine) and download & run the installer for your audio device.

  Or, open the Device Manager and find your sound device (it will be listed under sound, video and game controllers.)  Hit to the top of the site of the manufacturer for their latest driver Installer.  If you need help with this, thanks for posting that Device Manager indicates the sound card/chip is, we can help you find the drivers.

• Brother Control Center 3 has stopped working under Windows 7 Pro

  Recently trying to use my Brother Control Center 3, I get only a white white mask on the screen which used to hold the scanner controls. My computer is running Windows 7 Pro, Service Pack 1 with all current updates. I get to use my printer MFC - 240 c with no problems and the Suite Pro that came with is is v - 1.0.3.0. My Control Center version is 3.10.0.0. I tried to reinstall the Suite Pro by uninstalling the first there. When you try to run the CD, I got a message that the drivers have been updated, and I had to go to the website of Brother to perform the installation. After finishing, I always have the same white screen when you try to start the CC3. I checked all the settings several times and still can't understand why it has stopped working; any ideas? I planned to take the 10 free Windows upgrade, but now I do not know if this will solve this problem or cause more problems.

  I have the following problem. We use the SDM Service on the server to push the software programmed on a few blackberrys (e.g. 8800). All Blackberrys are saved on the server in the list of mds.

  The new Blackberry 9000 does not appear in the lists of mds. And after the activation of the SDM control center is not on the device. the control center of mds push automatically by group policies. but I can't found on the device. How can I make the blakcberry 9000 working with SDM on the Enterprise Server BES services?

  I had a contact with level 2 Support T-Mobile. They told me to download the latest firmware to the updatecenter of t-mobile (has not heard of so far), then install this software on a PC and install the MDS Runtime of this package to the devices.

  After the url of the download location, where I found the firmware:

  Whenever I start my old Toshiba laptop computer for 3 years, I get this message: host of Catalyst Control Center has stopped working and then nothing. I check the current update drivers says it all day, but I went on this site called Driver Whiz and he says I'm wrong 8 things with my computer Says: Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller... out of date... then 2 ATI HDMI Audio... updated... then system devices said ATI 1/0 5 MB... updated... communication processor and then disconnected devices : 4 JMB38X MS Host peripheral COntroller is disconnected, but they want 50 buck for them to fix it when I downloaded what I thought was that it was free so now it's on my computer... UGH!

  I am running Iolo System Mechanic 11 on my machine for detection of spyware, malware, viruses and been with them for 5 years and this has NEVER happened since I was with them. My Toshiba Service Station does not work and tried to contact Toshiba as well, but yet they want the money for technical advice. I know that somebody here is tech savey and I am disabled and do not have the money to repair this laptop so please can someone there give me info on how to get back to his old self of my machine?   I had difficulties to show online flash videos so I upgraded my intel graphics card from Intel HD Graphics 3000 on the Intel site. Since then, I get this message:

  "The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the version of the driver for your compatible graphics card. Please update your graphics driver from AMD, or activate your card AMD using the display manager. »

  I tried to update the graphics card (Radeon HD 7470 M) AMD but it says that is already updated to the latest version and looks like it has been activated. When I clicked on the graphics card I get this message in the device status:

  RTC-5301: the Service control centre is not currently available.
  
  To find the errors, I ran the service_doctor.sql file and got the following response
  
  SQL > @C:\OraHome_2\owb\rtp\sql\service_doctor.sql

  there are errors in one or more packages PL/SQL and functions

  of the platform properties have been loaded properly
  Location of the platform were seeded correctly
  NLS messages have been loaded correctly

  at the service of the platform is not available
  There is an access problem to the startup of the service of the database script

  Server

  here is the detailed error that contains the name of the start

  script file:-

  starting Service "C:\OraHome_1\owb\bin\win32\run_service.bat" file is

  not available from the server of database on the instance of number 1

  Please make sure that the disk containing the file is visible in the

  database server

  is it you Please check that the database server account has access rights the

  file

  there is a problem with the connection to the repository information used to

  start the service of information

  here is the detailed error that contains the connection

  to the service:-

  can't access the owner of the database password repository

  Server

  Please check that this information is accurate
  If this information is correct, then please use the

  'set_repository_password.sql' script to reset the password stored
  
  PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
