Set the default theme

I can't figure out how to set the default theme. I looked through the help and could not do anything at work. I've done this before, but I don't remember how I did it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Your RoboHelp for Word has a box labeled "Single Source Layouts"? If so, you just need to double click on the layout you want and the first screen of the dialog that results has an option allowing you to designate the default theme.

    Firefox 3 has been great and I liked the new features of firefox 4, but the default theme is bad or not good for my PC is Windows 7 Prof I added new themes and changed the graphics card no fixed and when I tried safe mode, it worked like charm, it's really nice so I would like to know how to make the change permanent.

    This is probably due to hardware acceleration. Safe mode disables hardware acceleration and hardware acceleration changes the appearance of fonts.

    To disable hardware acceleration, open the Options dialog box, go to the advanced Panel, then select the general tab uncheck the setting "use hardware acceleration when available.

    I have downloaded PC Tools Spyware Doctor and run the optimization program. It out to Classic view. I don't know how to change themes back to normal but my default vista theme disappeared. Where can I download the default theme? and how do I install it? I thank very you much in advance!

    Nevermind that I fixed it. Theme tool has been disabled in the Task Manager. Part of the optimization process achieved by Spyware Doctor. Fair return has started up and set the look back to normal. Hope this helps someone who had the same problem as me.

  • OfficeJet 6700 Premium error 0 x 00000709 cannot set the default printer

    I bought my new HP Officejet 6700 Premium on February 1, 2013. I use a HP Pavilion dm4 laptop under Windows 7 Home Premium. The installation seems to give no problem. However I'm unable to set the default printer and have the error message 0 x 00000709. Excel, Adobe, Outlook does not allow me to print.

    I spoke to the HP printer Department February 1st and they sent me some software of diagnosis which I sent back. I called again on 6 February and was told my problem was always open and they were trying to reproduce the problem (it appears on the net without a patch work). It is now February 10, and I hope the good people of HP to recall with a solution soon. You try to run a small business with no printer is not ideal.

    Someone at - it else ecountered this problem, and you have a solution.

    I ran HP utility, installed uninstalled the driver etc etc etc.

    I seem to have fixed the problem by changing in the registry keys. If HP wants a donation to charity, I would be happy to provide it to them :-)

    We have recently updated for Adobe Acrobat Standard XI.

    Our users take system generated a PDF file and customize them by adding images and additional text. Generally, they always use specific fonts when adding their text formatting options.

    Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a way to set the default value for font formatting options when you use content editing tool "add text". You're still stuck with the Minion Pro police to 12 points.

    Therefore, whenever the user adds a new text, they must select the text they have just added and then change the font options in the pane of formatting content editing tools. It would be really useful to be able to define the police by default once the formatting options and added new text would use these settings.

    Go to Preferences > general, then set it to "video Transition default Duration", but many executives you want it to be.

    Note that this applies to everything that you set your default transition, which is chained by default.

    To set the default zoom level, you can set the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, but we can't define it it fixed-value, which is not OK, because I would like that the value depends on the environment (as for the font size in the menu which is always OK, because it depends on the resource Xft.dpi X 11).

    Note: I have several profiles, while it is not even possible to write a wrapper that could modify the prefs.js file, because I don't know in advance which file would I need to change.

    What can I do?

    One possibility would be to use the mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder.
    This file can contain JavaScript that runs with full chrome privileges and it it not difficult game of the pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to a correct value for the screen currently attached.

    I've just updated to version 35.0 today. Now, every time I restart my browser that asks me to make Firefox the default browser. I've always said yes and check the box to remember.     I get a black screen when you start Firefox. Safe mode works. I went through the uninstall process and reinstall of Firefox and fixing and reset and open in safe mode and disabling modules and uncheck acceleration of material as described in the troubleshooting tips.

    I'm at the help desk where I'm supposed to change the default theme but it is off to me. There is no checkbox to activate the default theme. How can I activate the default theme?

    I need a way to set the default size of the popup window on a specific area or all areas (whichever is easier). There is a particular site that pulls up a PDF in a pop-up window, and always default to a small window, but I need full screen. Apart from the obvious 'simply click on the button full screen every time ", can someone offer me some suggestions? If it were me, I'd just hit the button fullscreen, but I'm trying to set it up for some end-users rather capricious.     I tried "Modern tool for XP icons", but did not notice the part "for XP" until after I installed it, so I took off and I went back to the default value.     You can try to backup the list extensions via Firefox help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information > copy to the Clipboard.

    In almost all cases, abandoned extensions would already have either a better alternative or fork the best maintained. You can try to search using common words or variants via Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > modules top-right or @ AMOsearch box. For themes, also try Personas for Firefox.

    I went to Cont.Panel and set the default home page and then click on the button Firefox then options and under general set default homepage from Firefox to open but Firefox always opens to the Firefox start page. What can I do else?
