  Does anyone know how to set a keyboard shortcut for the Set status options: accepted, canceled, completed, and rejected? It's the list, you get in the mini menu where you can reply to a comment (next), to delete a comment, set state, etc..

  It is not possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to this command directly. However, since it is possible to generate scripts this command then it can be launched from a menu item, which can have a keyboard attached to it accelerator.

  Hi, I am trying to automate the deployment of applications and wonder if anyone knows how I could define the "Unavailable" via a SQL script application. In the views of the APEX_030200 scheme, there is a view called "APEX_APPLICATIONS" with "AVAILABILITY_STATUS" and "UNAVAILABLE_TEXT" columns What I want to do is to run a statement that sets the 'Not AVAILABLE' application before you run the import script.

• Is there a way to store the State of the vi loaded dynamically without resorting to tricks Subvi?

  I have a VI to open a UDP connection, data recovery, and then close the connection:

  Definition of State 2 retrieves a UDP packet. Most of the boxes above is for the manipulation of data.

  The second call inside the while loop will raise an error. Apparently, bibliographic are not valid from one call to the other when you call a vi loaded dynamically. What I need to know is, is there a convenient way to get around this?

  The call dynamically a VI within a while loop can be pretty bad in terms of performance and I'm not sure it's a good idea.

  But if you really want to do this, using the function "Call by reference node" would be more appropriate in your case (you can find some examples easily).

• Visibility is known between slides, but the State isn't?

  I'm trying to build a module of courses around a main page with links to the section slides, which can be clicked in any order. An example of main page might look like this:

  

  Ideally, I would like to by clicking on a button to perform the following operations:

  • Set the State of the value button "clicked", which clears the background color, so it is visually clear what topics have been considered
  • Display a summary of the section to the right of the button (currently in a hidden caption area)
  • Skip a slide on the subject, which then returned to the hand glide, where we see the changes described above

  As a first step, I created a joint action for this...

  

  The strange thing is that, when I click on the first button to go to the slide, and then return to the menu, changing the visibility of the description remained, but the State has reset to the default value.

  

  Only, I was able to get the effect I wanted by exercising an action of the button, the value of a variable, then running a conditional action when the main slide load this state of button changes if the variable is set.

  You need to do with the event on Slide enter, indeed. This means that you must use variables. If you want to use a similar action in other projects, turn the conditional action in common action. When moving that shared action at the library of another project, the variables will be automatically created e.

  However: I would add the text to the "Clicked" State, which means that you don't have to use a separate command to display the text. You seem to ignore that? This is one of the screenshots of my last blog, I used a custom state (Invisible), in which an image and a text bubble was added.

  

  Based on my experience with conditional actions, especially avoid the operator "does not correspond to", you might use "equals 1' as well, more confidence.

• Is it possible to change the State through several buttons?

  If I have already created, say, 100 identical buttons, and I want to change the State 'down' to a new color other than black. is it possible to do it quickly? I use 9 Captivate.

  Because you talked about "buttons" I assumed that you were pointing to the InBuilt States: Normal, rollover and down. The situation with styles is a little confusing IMO concerning States. You cannot set the States in Manager of Style of the object, as was the case of the Captivate 8 buttons. Since 9 Captivate, you will need to define States in the Panel object, for custom reports also state in regard to integrated States. Part of the InBuilt says are really integrated in the style: this is the case for all of the State for the Image buttons, for the background/outline for other types and form buttons. The labels on the buttons (text, system and form) are not part of the style. The exception are the image buttons because you have to put the text in the images. If you add objects in integrated States, they wil not be part of the style.  Even for States custom: they are not part of the style. I have problems with this configuration of confusing. It would be much easier, I think, if everything was recorded in an object style could be edited and changed in the Object styles Manager.

  The button menu "three lines", also called the hamburger or hot dog button, has opportunities to save changes to an existing style, to create a new style to apply a style to objects with a different style by default (as long as you override, leading + sign to appear).

• How to set the visibility of the layer on the initial view?

  I created some shapes that have multiple layers in them. They are several pages long. Page 1 there are 3 radio shows buttons... it selects the appropriate user type and begins running the correct layer and turns off the other layers. Unfortunately, if they go to page 2, before clicking on one of the butttons, they see all layers at once, and it's a confused mess.

  Is there a way to set the default layer visibility so that when you open the PDF file, it only shows the layer I want it? I don't find it in the initial view settings.

  Yes, you can use a script to document level to set the State of the OCG, Optonal content group or layer, States up-front objects.

• Dynamically set the icon in a LinkButton

  I use several controls link as navigation devices button in my application.  When the LinkButton are created they are given all the four properties of the icon as follows:

  The second LinkButton would have the same properties as stated except that it would have it's own set of GIF.  Because these are navigation buttons in my application I want to be able to click on a LinkButton and have is downIcon GIF became the icon GIF.  In this way, it seems that the button has slept selected and gives the end user a visual indication of where they are in the application.

  Problem is how to set the State of the icon of a LinkButton and make it show?  I tried this CODE but it did not work...  It does not generate an error... is there just no visual effect.

  If you have a reference to the VI being put into secondary (which there or it is not in the secondary, right?) you can use it to get a reference to the façade of the VI. This in turn will allow you to read an array of references to all the controls and indicators on the front of the Secondary VI. • dynamic action sets the value of the element, but not save to DB on submit

  I'm working on a page where the value of several to show only the page elements are defined using a dynamic Action.  They are set when the user selects a value in a list of selection (and is based on the value of the selection list).  Dynamic action is triggered on a list selection change event and then runs the real action "set the value.  The selection list displays the names of sales representative.  The three fields dynamically filled are the org structure (that is, their chain management).

  For the action to set the value, I use a defined Type of SQL statement:

  Select VP, DIR, MGR

  of SALES_ORG where SSR =: P20_SSR

  In the affected elements, I have fixed Type of selection to the 'item (s)"and the value of the Item (s) for 'P20_GVP, P20_DIR, P20_MGR.

  Dynamic action works fine for the display of the page (that is, when I select a sales representative in the selection list dynamic action properly updated only display value fields three).  This page is a form in which the user submits information relating to the rep.  When the page is sent, all fields are filled in a new record of DB with the exception of three that were populated dynamically above.  These fields get the values NULL.

  When the dynamic action updates the values in the three fields is - it does not set the value of session?  Why these fields don't are not taken into account in the submit other ideas > process Page?

  I use 5 APEX with Chrome on Mac (Yosemite).

  Thanks for the note.  I didn't only display the items could not be used in this way.  I think I'll take a different approach with the design; given that the org structure is in another table that I can simply refer to that by rep when necessary rather than saving the information uploaded to the page of the form.  The reason why I have not fill the screen only the points of loading the page is because I don't know what the values should be until the user selects a sales representative in the selection list.

  I'll change the design to one of the following:

  1) change the display only items of standard text field.  NOTE: if I make the text read-only field that causes other problems when loading (I get the message "violation of protection Session state").

  OR

  2) do not include org structure in the download folder and just refer to table org Rep when necessary.

  I install a simple page with a SuperLOV cascading.

  I'm trying to set the values of the first and the second SuperLOV based on the selection of a report.

  After the selection, a javascript function is called that sets the variable state and browser session P1_EMPNO

  I use this point (P1_ITEM) to trigger a dynamic Action (when the value changes AND is not null) to SET the VALUE for the first LOV. This method works.

  Then one created a second dynamic Action that uses the event AFTER REFRESH for the first LOV to SET the VALUE for the second SuperLOV. It does not work

  Just to test the logic, I created a third standard LOV which is the same as the second SuperLOV and respective dynamic action. This one works.

  OK, I discovered what was going on.

  I used a $('#P1_EMP').apex_super_lov of javascript for dynamic Action action to set the value of the SuperLOV.
