Set the video file poster frame

Hello!

I would like to know how I can specify a specific image in a video as the poster image that is displayed for the thumbnail in Windows Explorer or Finder window.

Anyone know how I can achieve this?

I tried to export from Quicktime Pro, without the desired effect.

Thanks for your help!

Is not possible. The player sets the image of the poster.

I am running 10.1.1 version. Is it possible to export the video at 30 frames per second instead of 60 frames per second?

Yes.  The frame rate (and resolution) of a project is determined by the first clip set a new timeline for the project.  So put a clip known 30 fps (with the resolution you want) in a new project timeline then copy everything from your existing project in the new project.  You can then remove the first clip if you wish.

  • Export (in the format H.264 HD 720 p 23.976 preset) and audio out separate while the video file is a file instead of .mp4 .m4v

With the help of the first Pro CC 2014.

Export (in the format H.264 HD 720 p 23.976 preset) and audio out separate while the video file is a .m4v instead of .mp4 file.

Anyone know why audio and video export separately? I can't understand why. Help is very appreciated.

Are you sure that you choose a preset of Blu - ray? This will create separate assets. Thanks for posting a screenshot of your export settings if you can - which is usually much enough quickly

It is likely that the various files contain the CODEC, that are either not installed on your computer, or PrE is not able to use them.

You list several types of files, and I urge you to first see this FAQ entry, then get one of the utilities file info, related to it, G-Spot, MediaInfo, or MediaInspector, then view the details on the different CODECS: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037?tstart=0

In addition, WMP cannot play the video shows the probability of a CODEC problem.

Or another of the great, try free media players, VLC Player, or MediaPlayer Classic HC. Both contain many useful CODECS, but they do NOT install them in the operating system.

Good luck, and with the CODEC info, can anyone give your recommendations.

  • Problems with the video file (wmv) path - Director Keeps restoring old road

I am looking for assistance in obtaining a video playing live per floor in my movie once it is burned to CD.

What I found is this work expected to use a relative path , and my film must find the video files very well.  However, I have great difficulty with this.  I was able to change the 'filename' from the video cast member to a relative path (@Video\videofilename.wmv) and the property inspector reflect this change.

    Untitled-13.jpg

However, once I save, publish and check that it works, the film begins to search for the file in the original location.  What happened several times.  I changed the properties for the Member of the cast in the cast, as well as for the onstage cast member (not sure if their properties are related, so after a few troubled results, I tried to change both).  Whatever happens, the path in the file name field is back:

    CastMemberProperties01.jpg

I've even went up to remove the videos of the scene and casting, then add them again, using only the relative path in the file name field, does not.  The result is always the same: once I have save and publish again, the name of the file back to the absolute path.  To say the least, it's frustrating.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    B

The operator 'path' should be considered as the combination of characters "@:" or "@------" or "@/ ', then your path should be"@\Video\videofilename.wmv ".

As you say, this should not give problems. If it persists, there are two options. Use Manager prepareMovie for the searchPathList and set the member.filename property before than the dialog box 'where's... ' is displayed:

    on prepareMovie
      _player.searchPathList.append(_movie.path & "Video")
      -- member("wmv").filename = "@\Video\videofilename.wmv"
    end

  • Re: How to save the video file to a DVD-R for Equium A200

I have the Equium A200. Someone can tell me how to save the video file to a DVD-R on my computer in order to use it later, or use it in windows movie maker and must not simply copy on another DVD-R right?

My cursor also has disappered in the suite of windows media, that makes life quite difficult.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

You mean, you want to copy the original DVD movie to HARD drive?
Well, you can copy the contents of the entire DVD to the HARD drive. It means that you have to copy a lot of data.
I would recommend shrinking the DVD movies using a tool called DVD shrink.
It would decrease the data and would also copy the content to the HARD drive.

But if you want to use these files later in windows movie maker, so you must convert these using a 3rd party tool.
Google a bit and you should find many free applications that would help you to do this work.

    Help!

    Hello

    • What version of Windows are you using?

    1. it is possible that you are missing the codec to play the file or it is clashing with other codec files.

    2. the link provided below lists supported by Windows Media Player file format.
It does not list the AVCHD or. MTS files supported file format directly:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992

    3. yet we cannot be sure at this point that the issue is due to interference with some files.

    Method 1:
Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.

Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-system-restore
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:
You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On thefile tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

You can check the link for assistance on the issue - below

You need a video converter to change your type of video file to formats supported by the media player on your computer. I suggest you convert to wmv format. It is the most reliable format type.

Go surf the web. There are many converters FREE video that will do the job. Just enter the video converter in the search box of the browser.

    Hello

I tried the previous suggestions and ran the reset... no change...

    · What is the file format? 3GPP
    · The question is limited to this video file? Yes, all the videos copied from my cell and downloaded on PC, the problem occurs. Note all the copied images have no problems.
    · Did you do changes on the computer before the show? None.

Any further suggestions? I fear, if I should try a codec download from the internet and that you and the measures to be taken.
    Thank you

I would recommend that you download and install K-Lite Codec pack from here.

    Download K-Lite Codec Pack

Get either the Standard or complete package to halfway to the bottom of the page. There is a package tailor-made for 64-bit if your Windows 7 is that the flavor. The 64-bit package is not always necessary, as most of the programs are still 32-bit.
