• No option to place the hierarchical block

  I bought NI Circuit Design Suite 14 - Student Edition. I am quite new to this program, so I wanted to work through a book in order to get some experience.

  Unfortunately, even in the first chapters that they refer to the hierarchical block function. I don't see this option. It is supposed to be in the "'place-> new hierarchical block" menu, but I do not have this entry. " Also I tried to customize my toolbar just to make sure that this feature is not disabled but I can't find any entry on this.

  I use the German version of Multisim 14 but I tried to change the language to English - there is still no menu available.

  For me, all of the features on this block herarchical lack (New, hierarchical block of the file, replace with hierarchical block). But the online help lists only these features as well.

  Is this some sort of restriction for the version of education? I wonder because the books I use offer a copy of the version of education as well, and they refer to this feature very often.

  I would apreciate any comment.

  This option exists in Multisim 14. This is a screenshot of my version of multisim, and as you can see, I have more options available in the menu of the Place. I changed the language to German, but this should not be the reason for the appearance of additional options.

  

  I think that this problem is related to the version or the installer of Multisim. Multisim is available in two versions: for academic users and industrial users. Some options are only available in one of the two versions.

  Short: I want to select components in ultiboard, which belongs to a specific hierarchical block in multisim. Secondary attribute to a group of party in ultiboard.

  Best show a column in the list parts view with the hb_sc_name property already contained in the file .ewnet for each instance of the component and allow sorting by this column. Then you can easily select all parts with a specific hb_sc_name and change their "party group.

  You can do it, but only from Multisim. It also will not work in Multisim 10.1 and earlier versions, because part groups (also part spacing, pin swap and Exchange door) where no specific instance as they are now.

  1. In Multisim, open the main design and select the hierarchical block that you want to change.
  2. In worksheet view, select the components tab
  3. Make sure show all is not selected
  4. Click the column heading of the Group of the party to select the entire column
  5. Select one of the items, and change the name

  NOTE: when you select the item, you must select a component that can be a part of the Group (for example, by selecting a HB/SC connector, you cannot change the name of party group).

• Dynadock U can not monitor to set as the main monitor

  Hi there, we will have problems using the Dynadock you and a Satellite Pro S300.

  When you click the icon of the monitor dynadock on the taskbar and click on set as the main monitor, it does not work. It looks like something else (perhaps with the tool intel monitor) blocks this action. Can you give us any suggestions to make this work?

• cRIO 6 identical systems, how to approach the IO blocks for reuse code

  I'm transferring my old PS-2000 appliances to cRIO code 9073.  I got settings codes to allow me to download a .txt file to 'set up' the database engine code incorporated for identical systems without any code changes.  Is this possible with the cRIO so devices?

  I use the following modules NI 9205 and NI 9211 2.  Fieldpoint code enabled me to address each block of Ai, cRIO doesn't look like I have the same options.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Got in touch with my rep and we had a conference call with NI Sys. Group in English.  He showed me the following tools:

  Basically an API access block that allows the cRIO modules to deal with and interviewed, returning all entries of a block.  I run in scan mode, my scan rate is quite slow, 1 to 5 seconds/read, it should work perfectly.

  A few points:

  -L' mechanical action of your Boolean is ready to "lock when published. In other words, it will reset to False after having read once.

  -You have no calendar control software in your loop, it is what is known as a "greedy loop" and run as fast as it can possibly

  For this reason, your true case runs, but that one time when you release the button and the button will be reset to False until you see probably because the loop runs probably thousands of times per second. If you enable execution highlighting to slow down execution of the VI to something, that you observe, you should see the Boolean indicator lights briefly before you reset it.  You must always place a wait function inside your loop to slow things up to a reasonable speed, however.

  Some other tips:

  -You only required to place the indicator Boolean inside the structure of business if you want to update in two cases (that you use a value of property in the other node) - just place it outside of the structure and the value you want to set out the case of wire

  -You created a while loop without stop condition, and VI must be abandoned to stop it.  Generally, you'll want to give the user a stop button to get out of the VI, abandonment is almost never a good idea.

  -You don't need really the case structure in this case, he could just wire the Boolean OK button directly to the indicator.  My impression is that it's just a conclusive example or experience in how cases structures work, however, it's probably fine.

  Hello, this is a really stupid question, but after using my card for the acquisition of data (NI DAQcard 6024E) with my connection block (SCC-68) more than one year with entries NRSE, I now need to connect differential inputs. However, the connection block doesn't have the negative terminals.

  Say I want to set up the channel one as an input in CVI. I use this code to set up the channel AI0 as a differential input:

  When you select differential, half of the entries are used for negative input. Pair you ai0 with ai8 ai9 with ai1,... with ai15, ai16 with ai24 ai7, etc.. When you create the channel, you specify only the first of the pair. the pilot will be liaison with the second pin.

  I looked through this forum and tried to fix my problem in making changes on Essbase.cfg of DATACACHESIZE and DATAFILECACHESIZE values.

  I also checked in the settings of CALCLOCKBLOCK and the error message shows his tent to allocate more than the default value no. blocks that is 350 blocks in my tests.

  I have CALCLOCKBLOCK with HIGH as 4900, settings default than 350. Hope this is good enough.

  As it is on the dynamic calc and formula approach based on, would like to know how to face this question set.

  Of course, JM, it was my test script.

  I would like to change my script to be the best :-).

  And I could get rid of the Essbase error in improving more all hides and CALCLOCKBLOCK parameters.

  The operating current system cann't be changed to try chaning type of dimension and other changes required for the TBLAST property. It is one of the obligation that I work. Then try my best to correct and come out with the best solution.

  It is easy to build the new app with fresh demands to try to include new features to the existing system.

  I use a POST at .../contact/filter and get an error HTTPNotFound.

  You send a http request using the POST method when creating the export. In the message body, you include a JSON encoded string. Here is my code PHP to create the appropriate table:

  Hello guys, got little stuck to change the INITRANS parameter to a table partition. The table is partitioned by range.

  To change the INITRANS and PCTFREE for new block that will be generated, I can use the following statement.

  ALTER TABLE < table_name > PARTITION EDIT < nom_partition > INITRANS < value > < value > PCTFREE;   (but this change will apply only to newly created blocks and not the existing blocks).

  I try to change the existing blocks too, so when I read the thread on otn How do I change initrans in the partition table? he said to use the 'MOVE' clause, so I used the following statement.

  ALTER TABLE < table_name > FILM PARTITION < nom_partition > INITRANS < value > < value > PCTFREE; (they said that this measure will apply the change to exisiting blocks as well), but when I executed this statement I got the following error message.

  ORA-14020: this physical attribute may not be specified for the partition table.

  Can someone tell me where I'm wrong and I have to do correctly to apply the change initrans and pctfree to existing blocks of the table too?

  The marker "anchor" is a character of "simple".

  So you can do the following if you have identified the character (and in this example selected it):

  //Start with an "Anchor Marker" selected:

  You can set the myCharacter variable differently, if you know the index of the character according to his history of parent.

  Or if you have found the character as part of a search GREP or TEXT by ExtendScript (JavaScript).
