• Can register on EM and Admin Console but not Analytics - down presentation server

  I installed 11G on Windows 7 Enterprise. I am able to sign on Enterprise Manager and the Administration Console but not in analytics.

  The presentation server is down and there is a message in the nqserver.log about a problem with the oracle.bi.security.service. I pasted the nqserver.log and the sawlog0.log file and the file nqsconfig.ini below.

  I checked the BISystemUser into the realms of Weblogic Administration Console/security/myrealm and reset the password.

  I also have to reset the password for BISystemUser in Weblogic Enterprise Manager/WebLogic Domain/Security/Credentials/oracle.bi.system

  Then restarted services.

  I checked to see that there's no lock on DEV_MDS and DEV_BIPLATFORM.

  I tried to restart the services on several occasions without any modification.

  I don't know what else to check or how to proceed. Is there anything else I should check to identify what I might need to the difficulty of obtaining this race?

  We had a product supplied by Oracle. The presentation layer objects have read access to the user authenticated. Now, we have created more than a few tables and imported into the presentation layer. So by default, objects are having no access. We would like to change the permissions of access forbidden to read. How can we do it for all the objects at the time?   We have a Citrix server which is currently powered by a hamster peg-legged and held together with duct tape. Cost is a problem, then we got a quote for a decent server that can be extended. We would like to install ESXi 5 and have the Citrix Presentation server on a virtual R2 2003 computer. To save money, they do not want to move to a more recent version of Citrix so we will migrate.

  They currently have Citrix Presentation Server version 4.5. Who will work in ESXi 5 (on a 2003 R2 VM)?

• Setting up a test server

  Hi - I'm going to set up a test server for the first time in cc DW.

  First, I installed MAMP (I'm on a mac) - I tested the servers and they work. I chose the default ports 80/3306. I pointed my browser to localhost and it says it works.

  Then, I spent in DW and defined the site - everything seems fine. In the "files" window, I can see the local section of the files on the right and on the test server on the left (the records are in red - is it good?). My problem comes when you try to view the live files. I get the following error message
