  It is not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen! This works only with VGA output. There is no option in the BIOS. According to support, Toshiba will plan any action for this useful feature.

  I use an external TFT with HDMI adapter DVI Cable and I want to have as default screen TFT. With VGA, it will work without problems.

  Very interesting question! In my view, HDMI port is to be used with the HD ready LCD TVs or plasma. Combination of connection HDMI and HD DVD movies, you can really have a HD on your TV picture quality.

  As you know the port is a standard VGA port to connect external displays. The image quality is very good and, in my opinion, you should not use HDMI port for the same. Do you perhaps the best image quality?

• Is there a way to set the audio output in mono in Windows 7?

  I have a set of speakers, but one of the speakers is broken, so for now if I have a stereo song I get only half of the music. Is it possible to set the sound output in mono on Windows 7 so I can listen to the stereo songs via a speaker? I'd rather do than buy a new set of speakers.

  I would like to inform you that, down from sound to mono-stereo sampling is not possible, since stereo sound is a sound standard setting.

  Stereo speakers are designed to produce a sound to both speakers and there is no option to change the settings to use as mono.

  I also suggest that you contact the speaker manufacturer or the manufacturer of the computer for assistance on this issue.

  as stated I have 3 s vi that uses a common analog output.

  Vi2 & vi3 has first priority, a second vi1.

  VI1 waits until vi2 & 3 full using outputs analog.

  How can I achieve this? What would be the best solution? using queue or all the variables to set the priority?

  Thank you for your help.

  I have a printer/all-in-one Officejet 6700 Premium.

  Most of the documents that I print is for internal purposes, so "Draft" quality is sufficient.

  The default factory on the print quality setting is 'Normal '. I know how manually enter and restore the "draft", but I'd rather have the defaultproject, so I have to reset it manually each time.

  I could not find how to permanently fix the draft quality defect.

  Please follow the steps below to change the quality of the printer:

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. In the menu, click devices and printers.
  3. Right click on the HP Officejet 6700 icon.
  4. Click Printing Preferences.
  5. Enter the tab paper / quality .
  6. Select the project in the area of quality parameters.
  7. Click OK to save the settings.

  Now any future printing will be in draft quality.

  All you have to do is set the default CMYK (under Preferences > color management) to the profile that you use most. It will then default to this profile in the output preview, unless you have a specified output mode.

• Why not USB-6509 allow setting input and output on individual ports?

  I have one of the new USB-6509 (96 digital i/o channels) commissions.  It has 12 ports for every 8 bits.  The manual says that you can define the inputs and outputs on a per port basis.  When I read an 8-bit port that I find it clears different ports that I put in place to be digital output.  They seem to be grouped into 3 groups of 4.  0-3, 4-7 and 8-11.  When I read from any single port within this group it erases the other ports in this group that I try to use as exits.  The result is that I can put only input and outputs in groups of 4 ports.  Unfortunately, we have built custom hardware based on the assumption that we could control the inputs and outputs on a basis of port by port.  I see this problem as well with my LabVIEW 7.1 program (see table), as well as the measurement and Automation Explorer.  Is anyone out there seen this problem with the USB-6509?  Anyone using it with success?  I also notice strange problems with power on, but I have yet to understand the model.  IM wondering if I have a defective material or maybe this new material still has problems.  I tried NIDAQ 8.7.1 and 8.8.  Same problem with both. Thank you.

  Thanks for the replies.  It was determined that the USB-6509 we have has a hardware malfunction that is causing the ports to interfere between them.  We are return to OR for repair or replacement.  For now, we used a PCI-DIO-96, which works correctly. Thank you, Andy

  I have a report and I have a date named as period column. And I need this field as this MAY-11 output.
  
  So I used this tag <? format-date: CREATION_DATE; "MON - YY'? > when I ran and see the results in rtf his works very well and the exit is on MAY 11, but when I see the result in Excel format its does not display correctly. It shows as 11-MAY '.
  
  Can someone tell me if this is a format problem or a problem with excel.

  You can add two spaces at the end to prevent excellent formatting, so that it treats the field as a text.
