Setting up reminder of low-energy bluetooth

Im having problems trying to adapt the Cascades 'BluetootoothSPPChat for example (on Blackberry gitHub). search for low energy bluetooth devices. My current block of the road trying to adopt guidelines of descriptions of code 21 JAM session to the example of the waterfall is the following:

bt_le_callbacks_t le_callbacks = {}
.advert = le_advertisement_cb
};

But the compiler complains about syntax, so I divided in to the following:

bt_le_callbacks_t le_callbacks;

le_callbacks.advert = le_advertisement_cb;

But the compiler complains match return types.

I have imports:
#include
#include

and a skeletal function for le_advertisement_cb definition:

void le_advertisement_cb (const char * bdaddr, const char * data, int len, void * userData) {}

}

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi rbork,

I also work with THE BT, and I think that I spent this obstacle. Try this:

#include #include #include #include #include

void my_advertisement_cb (const char *bdaddr, int8_t rssi, const char *data, int len, void *userData) {
    qDebug("Advertisement from BTAddr:%s. (Signal strength %d)", bdaddr, rssi);
}

/*
 * Note that this must be static. `bt_le_init()` does not "retain" the callbacks.
 */
static bt_le_callbacks_t le_callbacks = { my_advertisement_cb };

void initAndSearch() {

   bt_le_init(&le_callbacks);

   qDebug("BEGIN Scanning for device!");
    int retVal = bt_le_add_scan_device(BT_LE_BDADDR_ANY, this);
    if (retVal != EOK) {
        qDebug("Couldn't start scanning for devices. Error: %d", retVal);
    }

}

I'm stuck for a service to connect. I'll start a new thread for this challenge

Good luck!

  • How do I set a reminder that reminds several times per day

    How to set a reminder that reminds several times a day as three times for the same drug? is this possible?

    No, not with the native application of reminders. You can see the app store, however. You might also consider to use the alarm in the clock application.

  • Fan always on with new Satellite A100-153, even on the low-energy setting

    Hello
    I just got a new A100. Its processor is a Centrino Duo.
    I am very surprised by the general noise of the machine. I had a front M30 including fan rarely provided on but on this new machine, the fan stops.
    I changed the power settings (proc low speed + low cooling method) but that doesn't change anything.
    The CPU is only 2 or 3% and I am working not all heavy duty applications, so this should not happen.

    What is your experience with the series A100 and the Centrino Dual Core in general?

    Is that what I can do to fix this problem or am I condemned to hear this stupid fan 24/7?

    Hello

    It is not easy to say why the fans run constantly.
    This problem occurs on new recovered BONES?
    In addition check you the version of the BIOS. If the most recent BIOS is available on the Web from Toshiba page so try to update. But I'm not 100% sure if it will solve the problem of fan.

  • How can I set a reminder in reminders for all app everyday except Friday and Saturday?

    I want to put a reminder in the application of reminders for all day except Friday and Saturday for stuff to prepare for the days of work. I can't find a way to set up. I tried every way I could think to get Siri to do, but it did not work. Someone knows how to do this?

    See if defining a works repeat custom. Open your reminder > press more info > repeat > Custom > assign week and choose the days that you desire. It should look like the image below. -AJ

  • Anyone had luck setting the reminder flag when creating tasks?

    I tried passing the value of '1' and 'True' when creating the task but no value is being accepted in SFDC when the task is created. I usually use '1' when checking for Boolean fields. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?

    Thank you!

    Hi Mike,.

    Have you tried to use the "recall Date/time" where you can set the DateTime today = as opposed to recall all that is a Boolean field? For date of reminder you also have the option to add additional days for the reminder (i.e. 3 days from when the job is created). Let me know if it works for you.

    The iwatch emits a radiation? Just worried because I have to carry all the most of the day.

    A small amount with the low-energy Bluetooth, but it would be. The rest is managed by the phone, which could be emitting the radiation.

  • Ideal for Xperia Z3

    Hello
    I bought a Sony Xperia Z3 around 3 days back and it gives me fantastic autonomy.

    I understand Sony model rocomended of charge.

    I noticed that with a great battery performance, Xperia Z3 lasted 1.5 days on full charge. I like to keep my battery in excellent condition to derive these performances regularly. Here are some questions about maintainanace / charging.

    1. can I load the Xperia Z3 even when the battery is not low (< 10%)? Can I still Shara'a the phone in 20-30-40% or more remaining battery? It will undermine the longevity of the battery / performance?

    2. can I load Xoeria Z3 from one day to the next? Based on my experience and a few other posts, I erase the mammoth of Xoeria battery recharge takes 3 to 4.5 hours. Even if I start the load in the evening, so I am more likely to stay connected. It would influence performance and battery life if I load Xperia from one day to the next? (7-8 hours connected)?
    Charger Xoeria EP 880 made auto off feature after charging to 100%?

    3. I bought EP 881 fast charger and charger fast car. I am yet to test performance. What is the power / assessment difference EP880 provided with Xoeria Z3 and Ep881? Which the faster load time I can expect when the phone is turned on / turn off the?

    4. is it recommended that I have let the battery charge completely-> use the phine until less than 5-10% battery drains and once again fully charge? This model would keep peformace battery in excellent condition?

    5. the use of noise listening Blutooth headset MDR EX31 BN would drain the battery life of Xoeria due to the Bluetooth radio? What is the decline of Worcester, I expect in the battery life if I keep the connected Bluetooth?

    6. can I load noise MDR EX31 BN earphone with loader EP-880/881 of Sony? The manual recomeds that I use only the cable provided for headphones noise Charing.

    7. If I use external batteries while traveling with EP880 USB cable supplied, the it would impair the battery performance?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thank you
    Jean-Christophe

    1. Yes, you can, it does not matter if its 1% or 99%

    2. Yes, you can, once it reaches 100%, it will stop charging, so it will not damage your phone or battery. the charger is not the phone stops to load.

    3. it's the same thing, I understand, it's a cable and the other is just the wall charger. Turn off the phone, which will be the fastest way to load, then airplane mode, also if the phone its really hot battery will drain faster, it's normal with all phones.

    4. it is good, you can do it, but you don't have to.

    5. the Xperia Z3 has low energy bluetooth so should not drain your battery that fast.

    6. Yes, you can

    7. you can use a battery with USB microphone from Sony Bank or another cable micro USB, it will not affect your phone, it takes just as long to charge the phone.

    Charging the phone via a wall when the phone charger, it is faster through charger and airplane mode, then while that its on.

    fourth place will be off the phone when you are connected to a Bank of computer or the battery, that said, it depends on the voltage of the micro usb port and the output of the battery bank.

    @VN1 I hope the info helps

  • Is there a way to set a follow-up reminder of an e-mail message?

    I want to set a reminder on an e-mail message, so that on a date and time the reminder will activate and tell me about the message on which I put the reminder. I found the tags in Thunderbird, but I'd rather have a reminder pop up. Thank you!

    I would define it as a calendar event. You can convert a message to an event and all you have to do is set the time and date for the reminder. If you synchronize a remotely shared calendar then you will also get reminders on your phone, tablets or other computers, if you wish.

  • Impossible to set reminder on Apple Watch

    I find that I can no longer use Siri on Apple Watch to set a reminder.  It is always just said 'a second... '. "and then tells me it cannot set the reminder (no further details given).

    If I try the same thing on the iPhone, it works fine.  Note: I do not geolocation for reminder, just a normal daily reminder.

    I re-pair my Apple Watch to see if it would help.  There can be no.

    What I'm missing here?  Something that "might" be in game is I have Outlook calendar of the work used on my iPhone but is not the default calendar and I do not use Outlook for reminders.  And so that was important, why can I create reminders with the iPhone and not watch?

    Hello

    Restart your watch.

    1. Hold down the side button until you see the cursor off the power.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
    3. Once your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

    And restart your iPhone.

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

    Then see if Siri can set a reminder.

    Set a reminder. Use Siri on Apple Watch. Press in and hold the digital Crown, then talk. Or just increase your wrist and say 'Hey Siri, set a reminder'. You can also set reminders on iPhone or other iOS or Mac device that is signed using your Apple ID.

    Ask Siri. 'Set a reminder to 05:00.'

  • Set reminder in BB

    Hi all

    I want the reminder for my application...

    What is the best between call calendar or task (ToDoList)?

    I tried to call ToDoList, but I can not set the reminder for my task... then I try to call the calendar and got exception...

    Here is my code to call the calendar

    EventList _eventList = null;
    try {
        // Creates/Opens an instance of the specified PIM list (Event List) in Read/Write mode.
        _eventList = (EventList)PIM.getInstance().openPIMList(PIM.EVENT_LIST, PIM.READ_WRITE);

        // Creates a new Event
        BlackBerryEvent bbEvent = (BlackBerryEvent)_eventList.createEvent();

        bbEvent.addString(BlackBerryEvent.NOTE, BlackBerryEvent.ATTR_NONE, "tes task");
        bbEvent.addDate(BlackBerryEvent.DATE, BlackBerryEvent.ATTR_NONE, HttpDateParser.parse("2009-11-23"));
        // Checks the Event List to determine if the ALLDAY field is supported
        if(_eventList.isSupportedField(BlackBerryEvent.ALLDAY)) {
        // Checks the event to determine if ALLDAY attribute as already be set
            if(bbEvent.countValues(BlackBerryEvent.ALLDAY) > 0) {
                bbEvent.setBoolean(BlackBerryEvent.ALLDAY,0,Event.ATTR_NONE,true);
            } else {
                bbEvent.addBoolean(BlackBerryEvent.ALLDAY,Event.ATTR_NONE,true);
            }
        }
        Dialog.inform("added");
    } catch(PIMException e) {
        Dialog.inform("failed");
    }

    And this is my code to call the ToDoList (but still I can not set the reminder for my task)

    try{
        ToDoList list = (ToDoList)PIM.getInstance().openPIMList(PIM.TODO_LIST, PIM.WRITE_ONLY);
        ToDo newTask = list.createToDo();
        newTask.addString(ToDo.SUMMARY, PIMItem.ATTR_NONE, txtTask.getText());
        newTask.addDate(ToDo.DUE, 0, HttpDateParser.parse("2009-03-13"));
        //newTask.addInt(net.rim.blackberry.api.pdap.BlackBerryToDo.REMINDER,ToDo.ATTR_NONE,0);
        //PIMItem.setDate(BlackBerryToDo.REMINDER,);
        newTask.commit();

        Dialog.inform("Task added");
    }catch(Exception e){
        e.printStackTrace();
        Dialog.inform("exception");
    }

  • LaserJet M175nw MFP - energy low mode or stop?

    I've recently updated to a HP MFP175 nw.  I use this printer in a domestic environment on a laptop stand alone. I have need to print documents on a daily basis, which raises my question: is there an advantage to leave the printer on in his sleep/low energy mode for several hours or even days at a time when not in service or must it be completely turned off? I am not concerned by the current absorbed leaving on and, in doing so, it avoids the reset process that printers must pass through each time it is running.  What is the best, or isn't really important?  Thanks in advance.

    Personally, I leave my CP1525 all the time and leave the management of the ADF to take care of things.  I think that there is less stress on unity in this way and probably better life due to less toner initialization routines.
