    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community Forum, please be assured that we would do our best to help you.

There are many causes of Code 39 errors in Device Manager:

    a. a required device driver is missing.

    b. a required binary file is corrupt.

    c. There is a problem with the file I/O process.

    (d) a pilot that refers to an entry point in another binary file cannot load.

The recommended solution is to remove the device and reinstall the drivers for this device. As you have tried this step, I suggest you to try the steps mentioned below and check:

    Step 1:

Try the fixit mentioned first and check if the dvd player works:

    Step 2:

  • I learned that I needed to update the drivers for the following: isatap. (A8155B21-EFDB-4EC7-856F-EE7D24CE44987).

My Windows Vista (pc HP) has been crashing lately. I managed to install the latest updates with the help of this community, but when checking for errors, I came across the outdated driver (Microsoft network adapters) as indicated above. If I went to the Device Manager and deleted the old driver, could I then update the same drivers by downloading from the Internet? Don't want to try it if I can replace the software safely. Thank you.

    Hello Raine480,

    1. that you get any code or an error message when the system crashes?

    2. are you referring to the Microsoft ISATAP card, if so you can ignore this message.

Regarding your query, not all drivers will be automatically charged, some drivers are pre configured in the operating system and some must be downloaded.

The best choice that you make before you uninstall the driver and install them will be to download the driver on the manufacturer's Web site just to be on the safer side.

Or you can try to update the driver by following the link below:

  • Windows does not allow me to update the drivers for my Nexus 7 (USB port)

I'm having a problem connecting my Nexus 7 compressed (version 2013) to my desktop. I've successfully connected to my laptop. The two computers running Win 7 (64).

When I plug the USB cable in my office, says Windows is to install the device driver software. After a short interval, it pops up a message saying that the software has not been installed correctly.

So of course I went on Google Nexus web site and downloaded the latest version of the driver and unzipped the file.

I opened the Device Manager. The Nexus is not listed, but under "Portable devices", it a "MTP USB Device", which I think will turn out to be the Nexus.

I right click on this point, then "Update Driver Software", then "Browse my computer...". "and"Search for driver software in this place"(and of course, I've come to the place where my file downloaded and unpacked.

    Click "next".

INSTANTLY, I have "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date. It seems there being no attempt to load the new driver. I maybe trying to load the drivers in the wrong place?

FWIW, I checked to see if there are group policies that would prevent Windows update drivers, but there is not. I'm not aware of the problems of updating all drivers.

I even tried to copy the drivers in my laptop, without success. When the Tablet is connected to my laptop (with success), it appears in device under portable devices-> Nexus management, but this does not happen on the desktop.

This who should I try next, please?

    Hi TRHD,

  • Automatically update the drivers via WSUS 3.0 SP1

    Posted November 16, 2010, 15:51

    Hello

Recently at the company that I work we started pushing updates to the video card driver via WSUS. While users have no problems of installation, we had difficulty to automate the process. Basically, we have 7 computers that are run continuous tests that cannot be interrupted, except for 430 in the morning when they restart. We have a script that does the reset and we try to make these computers to install updates before restarting. I tried WuInstall, Remote X Reboot, this script:http://www.wsus.info...?showtopic=7298 and this: http://msdn.microsof...28VS.85%29.aspx where all work, ideal for installing Windows updates but none of them install updates of the driver as well! The updates appear as high priority and all other updates installed without problem, every single script/program that I use to try to automate the updates says "No update available" even if the Windows Update icon is still there. We tried this on Windows XP and Windows 7 computers and got the same result, we use WSUS SP1 on Server 2008. Any help/link to a program/script would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Please repost your request in the Forum of WSUS.  Thank you! Carey Frisch

    Hello

I put t know how long it takes until Toshiba going Windows 7 drivers, but you should not forget that Windows 7 is not on the market now, so I think we should be a few weeks or months.

In my opinion, you can order Windows 7. Most of the drivers for Vista are also working on Windows 7 and you can the pre-test with the Windows 7 RC.
