Setup Blackberry 10 Simulator on windows error 8

I have already download Simulator blackberry 10 and already put in compatibility for windows 7. But after the Retriever showing the implementation is not not proved yet. I've already run with error and administrator and try again

Can help me?

I had this before, I fixed it by upgrading my JRE 1.7 Update 6, 64-bit version as I had 32-bit. After that the extractor launches correctly setup.

You may need to remove older versions of Java, but I'm not sure.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  • "Windows Error Recovery" displays at startup

    original title: when I turn on my computer I get a black screen that says "Windows Error Recovery".

    He then said: "cannot start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. "To solve the problem:

    It said to put in my Windows installation disc and restart and then use the "repair your computer".

    I put the disc and start again, so the same screen came. Then I hit OK to start Windows normally and a screen that says "Windows Boot Manager: could not start Windows."

    I keep hitting good for all options and keeps it running across 3 screens. Does anyone know what I need to do?

    How to start windows from a cd or dvd

    If the page install Windows does not appear and you are not asked to press a key to start (or "boot") from CD or DVD, you may have to specify that your computer use its CD or DVD drive as the boot device. This means that you must set the CD or DVD drive as the first startup device in the basic input/output system (BIOS). Here's how:

    1. Turn on your computer, insert the Windows installation disc, and then restart your computer.

    2. Newer computers usually display a startup (or boot) menu. In the start menu, select "Configuration of the BIOS," or "BIOS settings," or something similar.

      Note:

      • Procedures for this vary depending on the manufacturer. Check the documentation that came with your computer or visit the website of the manufacturer of the computer. Each computer has its own options of starting (or starting) and access to the configuration of the BIOS. If your computer lacks a start menu, look for a message that says "Configuration of the BIOS", "Settings of the BIOS", or something similar, and then press the appropriate key when prompted to display the BIOS Setup screen.

    3. The BIOS Setup screen. On the BIOS Setup screen, select the option called "Boot order" or something similar.

    4. Select your CD or DVD drive as the first boot device.

    Restart your computer, and then start Windows from the installation or the DVD CD

    Startup Repair

    If you have a Windows Vista installation disc, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc. If you do not restart your computer from the disk, the option to repair your computer will not appear.

    If you have a Windows Vista installation disc:

    1. Insert the installation disc.

    2. Restart your computer.

      Click the button start , click the arrow next to the button lock and then clickRestart.

    3. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

    4. Choose your language settings, and then click Next.

    5. Click on repair your computer.

    6. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.

    7. In the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem, and if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs.

    If the Startup Repair tool is an option of recovering preinstalled on your computer:

    1. Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

    Click the button start , click the arrow next to the button lock and then clickRestart.

  • Do one of the following:

    • If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you will need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

    • If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to repair, and then press and hold F8.

  • In the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlightRepair your computer and press ENTER. (If repair your computer is not listed as an option, then your computer does not include startup as a preinstalled recovery option repair).

  • Select a keyboard layout, and then click Next.

  • Select a user name and password, and then click OK.

  • In the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem and, if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs

    Hi BlackberryDev,

    CSS my app looks good on the device, but the CSS is disabled by 40px on the Simulator...

    I'm sticking with the CSS I used for the device... but the problem is that I have to create a different CSS to the Q10 and Z30... So I need a precision @ Media query that I can use to target Q10 and Z30

    I don't want to use any library such as JQMobile or BBUI... I want to use pure CSS that I'm comfortable with.

    Thanks in advance.

    The dimensions of the display of these devices include (height x width):

    • Z30 - 1280 x 720
    • Q10 - 720 x 720

  • Custom image drop-down list appears not appropriate on Blackberry 9000 Simulator

    Hello

    I created the custom in my code drop-down list. my code works fine for other simulators.

    But when I tried to run on Blackberry 9000 Simulator from the drop-down list not shown correct image he cuts half the size of the image.

    I check my code, I did not manually height for the drop-down list.

    Please tell me why image appears not appropriate Simulator 9000.

    Welcome to the forums.

    I'm guessing that you don't know how to use the insert of Code button.  If you look at the top of the editing window, you will see a number of options for formatting such as police.  Look to the right and there are two buttons, one is used to insert the code.  Hover over the buttons and you will see a description.  Press the button insert the Code, add your code and you will see something like the following:

        public void drawListRow(ListField list, Graphics g, int index, int y, int w) {
            Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(arrowBitmapName);
            int fontWidth = getFont().getAdvance(text);
            int width = Display.getWidth() ;
            int height = list.getRowHeight();
            g.setColor(Color.BLACK); g.setFont(fontPlain);
            g.drawBitmap(0,0, bitmap.getWidth(), bitmap.getHeight(), bitmap, 0, 0);
            g.drawText(text, 3, y-drptextHeight, 0, w);
        }

    I think it's the routine that you use to draw each line of your drop...

    I recommend that move you as much code as you can out of this method.  It's called very often.  Creating a Butmap here, which is an expensive operation, is not a good idea, especially when the Bitmap image in reality does not change.  So create once and use it in the drawListRow.

    Also use the parameters that are passed.  The width you have to paint is given in the parameter, and perhaps not the same as the actual display width.

    In any case, this code draws the Bitmap to (0, 0).  I susspect should be at (0, y).  This could explain why it is not drawn correctly.  You seem to have a similar problem with the text.

    The drawListRow is assigned a value of 'y' and should paint from y to y + listField.getRowHeight ().  But in fact drawListRow has access to the area of the entire painting, so can do too much else.  You must code your method correctly to get good results in your list.

    Hope this helps, if not, please post your code so we can actually read.  In fact, as I say to others, do not post your real code.  Create a simple example that we can run illustrating your problem.  Then everything can run your example and see the problem.  Never stick all your code.  People are put off by the number of lines of code.

  • Install the simulators BlackBerry JDE 7.0, Windows 7

    I've developed for BlackBerry for awhile.  I lived two computers and many JDE.  Not once have I could download and install a simulator that works with the BlackBerry JDE.  Now, I don't really have a choice and I need to install the 9850 Simulator.

    The simulators that I download install and run standalone, but not BlackBerry JDE.  They are not displayed and my attempts to create a new profile of BlackBerry JDE Simulator so far have failed.

    I don't see anything when I did a search, surely someone else has had this experience.

    Thank you!

    Hi James,

    I have the JDE and several simulators device that runs correctly under Windows 7 64-bit set. Of course, I remove UAC before performing facilities. The JDE must be able to update the files when a new Simulator is detected and UAC seems to stand in this action.

    Turn off UAC (at your discretion, of course), then re - install would be an option to test. The other would be trying to install in a directory that your user account has or is governed by the UAC differently than the directory "Program Files" (computer desk or C:\).
